I learned how to think about things, and how to do things through the family members. Mostly it was good stuff. Lots of habits were formed. And they stuck with me.
The habits were mostly a fine thing. However, as I got older I realized that there were other approaches to doing things. Some of them kind of made sense. I tried them out. Some were improvements and some were not. I tried to change my habits to incorporate the improvements.
Some people like to change things for the sake of changing things. Others like stay with the old ways at all costs. What might be best is a calculated gradual approach, one where one the results are monitored.
This all might seem to be obvious. However, it really isn’t. People become creatures of habit more than they realize. So consider your situation closely.
