Introvert Advantage For The Ladies?

In the modern world, I think that it might be advantageous for a girl to be born introverted. I am not sure that it was always this way. Consider my Aunt. She was married for 70 years. She had a very extroverted outgoing gracious manner that everyone appreciated. If raised in the modern times, a woman like her would still be extroverted, but other behaviors than the ones she was raised with might develop.

These days extroverted women are often loud, assertive, “fun”, etc. These might all be good for procuring ONSes and the like, but they are not the attributes of a female that a discerning fella would want to marry.

On the other hand, introverted girls ideally won’t develop these behaviors, or maybe less of them. That would be the hope. At least they would not so obviously display them. This might work out for them, all for luck of being born introverted.

8 We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?

9 If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar.

Song of Solomon Ch 8 vv 8,9 KJV

The older brothers discuss what to do about marrying off their little sister. If she is a “wall” (introvert for purpose of our discussion; not prone to be froward or “easy”) they will build her up like a rich palace. If she is a “door” (extrovert; flirtatious, in danger of being easily seduced) they will “board her up” to protect her honor; e.g. her older male relatives will strictly control her… for her own good.

  11. Whether extrovert or introvert, it’s all in what you do with it.

Extroverted women can be fun, energizing, supportive playmates or bossy, entitled karens who want everyone to bow to them.

Introverted man would probably like the first woman for a while but then get tired of all the activity, while the second is never a real consideration.

I may not be King of the Introverts, but I’m definitely up there in the line of succession.

I just found out something interesting.
The reason for the fife and drum on the battlefield wasn’t just to play a jingle to motivate the troops. It served an important function…to communicate messages. It helped with morale since the drum beat would convey the signal to load the powder, and all that. Everyone could do the same thing at the same time over the noises (which made it impossible to hear voices with everyone yelling).

It could be the rules are different w I vs e gals? Just a theory. I never noticed guys unless they noticed me first. Not that I liked every guy who noticed me, but the “let’s hang out as friends until she gives the signal” never worked for me. But I was clueless. I had many great “guy friends” who likely were interested, but I was oblivious, and then they eventually found girlfriends and we lost touch. It was only after finding the manosphere that the guys explained that. (I suppose one could argue I still wasn’t really THAT into them, bc I never showed a sign, so there’s that, too.)

    4. The largest proportion consists of requests to Fauci to speak either at scientific conferences or on major media television programs. Strikingly:

    (a) Fauci refuses almost every invite in a medical or scientific setting

    (b) Fauci accepts almost every invite to go on TV

    5. The most striking feature by far, so far, is this: Fauci’s responses are utterly devoid of either scientific curiosity or depth. He shows no evidence in these pages at least, of anything but the most superficial familiarity with viral illnesses. Whenever someone proposes a helpful idea, he hands it off to a deputy to respond. He is temperate to the point of vacuity.

It’s hard to come up with a better example of the woke totalitarian capture of elite institutions than this Yale School of Medicine lecture by a hardcore anti-white racist psychiatrist, the audio of which is posted on Bari Weiss’s Substack. Weiss highlights these lines from the lecture:

“This is the cost of talking to white people at all. The cost of your own life, as they suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil“. (Time stamp: 6:45)

“I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a fucking favor.” (Time stamp: 7:17)

“White people are out of their minds and they have been for a long time”. (Time stamp: 17:06)

“We are now in a psychological predicament, because white people feel that we are bullying them when we bring up race. They feel that we should be thanking them for all that they have done for us. They are confused, and so are we. We keep forgetting that directly talking about race is a waste of our breath. We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain’t gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain. It’s like banging your head against a brick wall. It’s just like sort of not a good idea.” (Time stamp 17:13)

“We need to remember that directly talking about race to white people is useless, because they are at the wrong level of conversation. Addressing racism assumes that white people can see and process what we are talking about. They can’t. That’s why they sound demented. They don’t even know they have a mask on. White people think it’s their actual face. We need to get to know the mask.“ (Time stamp 17:54)

    Great weekend y’all!
I traveled to Idaho with my Dad to visit with my great uncle and his wife. He’s 92 and she’s 78. They’ve been married for 55yrs and still going strong even though he’s ‘slipping’ pretty bad now with dementia but she is still there right by his side taking care of him. It still gives me hope for the future. I’m wired a lot like him so it gave me a glimpse of what I might be like in 40+ yrs, and he’s still pretty darn sharp.

Also had this wonderful exchange with Crazy. She was asking the accountant how she could get her hands on the federal child tax credit…you know since she’s below the poverty line and all…Even though we are still married and file a joint return with the IRS…

    Me:
Crazy the child tax credit is applied to our adjusted gross income of $170k.
We had to pay taxes in 2020 because you did not withhold enough on your paycheck.

(She works 1-2 days a week, as a nurse, part time, making $35/hr, no bene’s)
