Albanian News ups the competition!

Here’s a news channel that is truly uplifting!

To me, the news should be carrying information that affects my life somehow. Weather is news of course. New legislation is news. But with the advent of post truth subjectivity and biased/fake news, there is not much information that is relevant to my life.

But for some reason, the Albanian news truly affects my life. Every time I go to their site, my heart begins to race and I feel very excited to see what will be reporting.

To give the readers a taste of what I mean, I came across this news clip on YouTube about an Albanian news station.

This gives the term “fake news” an entirely different spin. With careful inspection, you can be sure that they are, in fact, quite real.

Seriously, if TPTB in Albania are interested in pushing propaganda, I think they’ve found a very effective and convincing way to go about it.

Interestingly, Albania is 56-70% Muslim, 10% Catholic, and 7% Eastern Orthodox. I once had the impression that Muslim cultures were very modest, but I guess not all Muslim cultures are like that (NAMCALT).

Albania is a relatively small country with a population of 3 million and a GDP around US$36 billion. The fertility rate is 1.49 children per woman.

From what little data I came across, it seems like Albania is a country that is slowly coming apart at the seams.

The Albanian news shows it – quite literally.

But in the meantime, they’re sure to enjoy the decline headline!

Lived next to an Albanian family in DC.
Wow. Their son was the worst kid I’ve ever seen. He’d kick his grandmother constantly….it was basically agreed upon as a family she would serve as a punching bag.
Mike was talking to a pilot who was engaged to an Albanian woman (ended badly…I’ve mentioned it here I think). He said she had a relative whose son shattered his grandmother’s teeth and they basically ignored it.

The woman who comes on 0:51 seconds into Horseman’s video at 2:53 am: I know she’s not the hottest one there but she is a dead ringer for my favorite wine shop proprietor (ahem… I’m talking about her face and hairstyle etc and her personality you randy bastards).

She’s a Christian from somewhere in that part of the world – Romania, Albania, Bulgaria etc. Whichever country it is, she doesn’t like to talk about it. Bit of a story there, I reckon.

Anyway, she and her son are the kind of immigrants we like to have here. When I go into her shop she always greets me like a prodigal son. “Hello mite w’ere you ben uh? Ben a long time mite. Too long mite. Wot you up to, uh?”

Tou Thao, one of the four Minneapolis police officers charged in the “murder” of George Floyd, filed a motion on Wednesday accusing the State of Minnesota with “prosecutorial misconduct stemming from witness coercion.” If Thao’s accusations are true, and they certainly seem to be, the State has allowed this trial to drift irredeemably far into the brave new world of mob rule.

Right after an announcement is made about Donald Trump holding two rallies in June and one around July 4th for his candidates, the DHS comes out with a domestic terrorist alert. They admit there is no specific threat, but they decided to stir fear and suspicion anyway.

Department of Homeland Security issued a national terrorism bulletin in January, warning of the potential for violence from “people motivated by anti-government sentiment after President Joe Biden’s election.” They suggested a repeat of something similar to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Sadly, no cleavage displayed at the DHS website. A disappointed, “C’mon, man!” was tweeted from the official POTUS account in response.

Well, if politics didn’t drive the about-face on masks, asked Doocy, what was the medical or scientific breakthrough that suddenly occurred on Friday to justify this change?

Psaki, as is her habit, didn’t immediately answer the question. First, and very condescendingly, she put Doocy in his place by implying that he had not been paying attention. “Well, I know that Dr. Walensky did an extensive number of interviews yesterday to answer exactly that question.”

Nevertheless, Psaki did Doocy the “great” favor of giving a substantive answer. She repeated information we all already know: that vaccines work, that they are effective against variants of the virus, and that vaccinated people are not contagious. In other words, she gave was a non-answer because the real question was whether something new had come along and, in fact, nothing had.

At this point, Doocy could not resist a “gotcha” question:

But just looking at the CDC’s website on the way up, here only 45.6% of US adults have been fully vaccinated as of yesterday. Only 58.9% of the adult population had has at least one dose. So, what happened to President Biden saying in March that he thought lifting mask mandates before every adult American goes and gets a shot is “Neanderthal thinking”?

And that’s when it happened. That’s when Psaki gave us an insight into the idol worship that has become normative in Democrat politics when they have one of their party members in power at the White House. You may not believe this, but she referred to Biden — the gropey, creepy, demented, and not very nice Biden — as “our North Star.”

The 187 residents were given Ivermectin for another purpose (4th floor scabies outbreak) before the covid outbreak.
The 4th floor was given a normal treatment dose, and the other floors a smaller preventative dose. The staff got covid (who did not receive the drug), and the elderly patients were mostly protected. Not one even showed symptoms on the 4th floor.
The Ivermectin remains in the system protecting for up to 1 month apparently.

Tragically, psychology and sociology are now just two more disciplines that have been captured and co-opted by the left. Though the left claims to be all about the science (as opposed, say, to those dogmatic, religion-crazed Republicans), it really disdains science — or anything else that could possibly question its beliefs. For example, the six steps comprising the classic scientific method designed to acquire knowledge are:

    observation,
    question,
    hypothesis,
    experiment,
    results,
    conclusion.

Leftists have neither the patience nor the integrity to carry out this process

    My take on any crypto.

I have no problem with and actually encourage the idea of it being outside the reach of central bank manipulation.

My problem with it is the inherent technological problem that will keep it from being a currency. I think of it as an investment. I hold several. But they are investments.

Like my stocks if I want to use them for exchange of goods there is the settlement delay. It can take many minutes if not hours to settle my transaction just like the settlement period of selling stocks.

But at lunch I go buy a sub at the shop and tap my debit card to pay. In 5-10 seconds the transaction is approved and I leave.

Imagine if I did that with crypto. The line in the shop as each transaction clears. 5 minutes or more each. Is the shopkeeper just going to assume it clears and let me leave?

Most people do dozens of transactions a day. Imagine each on taking evn 5 minutes. At the grocers, the gas station getting on a bus, paying the kid cutting your lawn.

This is part of the security of crypto but also its impediment.

Until the transaction time is down to seconds, always, it won’t be currency.

A store of value. Yes. An investment. Yes.

But it is not a method of day to day transactions.

And we have cashless payment. A crypto in that sense. Its called interac.

So the argument of cashless is moot.

Crypto’s argument is then that it is a store of value outside central bank manipulation.
I agree. It is digital precious metals. See it, advertise it that way.

But it wont become currency. There is a system in place billions use already.

I even see it as a means for large purchases.

After the ransom was widely reported as having been paid and gas began to flow again, President Biden gave a “no comment” when asked if he was aware of the payment. It was a curious response since the media apparently knew. The company certainly knew, and, most importantly, DarkSide knew. Yet, the White House wanted to portray itself as a pure observer to a private decision on how to handle “hackers.”

The reason is obvious: Colonial just paid a ransom to terrorists. Moreover, gas pipelines are not just “a private company” but a highly regulated industry that closely follows the government’s directions.

then one of my coworkers told me that that guy had asked about me … i told her she should have told me! then she said i was talking to him quietly and he probably thought that meant it was more personal. but there were customers around, so i always talk more quietly when there are customers around. my coworker said he didn’t know that.
