A brother-in-law told the story about how he went out on a date a short while after his divorce. She spoke about how her sister was in the process of getting a divorce herself. Then she hit upon an idea. “Why not use his truck to clear out the house while he is at work?”. He thought little of such an endeavor, and there were not future dates with her.
His divorce was particularly nasty, with his ex doing many bad things such as accusing him of child molestation. She suggested that he commit suicide so that she could collect the life insurance. It was just not a pretty sight. This date did not seem to think it through, that a fella such as this might not want to shaft some other guy that he does not know.
Perhaps the concept of fair play did not exist with her. Or maybe she felt that guys exist to be exploited by women. Perhaps it was a shit test. I suppose that he failed if it was (or did he pass). What do you think might have been going on?
Exit question — What might have happened if he said yes?
Then she hit upon an idea. “Why not use his truck to clear out the house while he is at work?”.
So, on a first date this cunt wants a guy she barely knows to help another woman steal all the belongings out of another man’s house while he is at work?
I think that was definitely a “So what you’re saying is, you want to me to…” moment. Just to see if it registered at all.
He should have at least gotten a hummer in the parking lot before ghosting her though.
[Happy to see this in the parking lot I would be]

Women don’t do fair play

Herbstreit then broke down sobbing, saying: “And I think that’s what I mean when I think, the black community is hurting. If you’ve listened, the word empathy and compassion over these last four months. How do you listen to these stories and not feel pain? And not want to help? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? It’s like, the-, wha-, wearing a hoodie and, uh, putting your hands at ten-and-two, oh God I better look out because I’m wearing Nike gear. Like what? What are we talking about? And so, you can’t relate to that if you’re white, but you can listen and you can and try to help because this is not okay. It’s just not. And, uh, we gotta do better, man. We gotta like lock arm and arm and be together in the football locker room, that stuff is gone. Those barriers are gone and, uh, we gotta do better.”
“…we gotta do better.”
What a pathetic, mewling cuck.
Now, what I want to know, what I REALLY want to know is, WTF does “we got to do better” supposed to actually fucking mean. This country has spent TRILLIONS of dollars trying to pull 40 million 76 IQ “persons” out of the stone age for the last 60 years, and has got nothing to show for it. Actually, worse than nothing, because these ungrateful morons can’t seem to remember any of it. The actual cash handouts. The free food, clothing and shelter. The fact that they’re actually here and not already dead of AIDS, or Ebola, or malaria, or dysentery, or just plain old starving to death, or that they’re not being sold as actual slaves in Libya. Really they were 100x better off before 1965. And so were we.
While millions of Mexicans and Central Americans risk their lives to sneak into this country illegally and get jobs doing actual work to earn enough actual money to support themselves and then send enough money back to their home countries to keep their families from starving to death (and, they have to go back too. sorry, not sorry); these “people” are fucking born here and can’t seem to do anything but bitch and moan about how maybe somebody they were related to 160 years ago may have been a slave so they shouldn’t have to do fuck-all?
There is literally nothing else we can do for these people. Nothing. “We gotta do better.”?
Fuck that. They gotta do better.

Bloom, can you blame your friend? It’s a little harsh to be confronted with the reality of war as a woman. There is about nothing that she can do about it but find the hardest, meanest man around and keep him as well fucked and happy as possible. That’s a depressing state to be in. Especially when its looking more and more like that sort of thing is going to go down.

YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO FILM!” is a cry you hear incessantly at protests in Portland, Oregon, always shouted at close range to your face by after-dark demonstrators. You can assert that, yes, you can film; you can point out that they themselves are filming incessantly; you can push their hands away from covering your phone; you can have your phone record them stealing your phone—all of these things have happened to me—and none will have any impact on their contention that “YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO FILM” and its occasional variation, “PHOTOGRAPHY EQUALS DEATH!”
I cannot say who came up with these anti-camera battle cries. But it’s easy to understand why protesters use them: to shape the narrative the country sees about the protests. And that narrative, in my estimation after many weeks covering street clashes in a city where I lived for 15 years, is 90 percent bullshit.

“I’m 100% certian they can’t do better.”
Sadly, I have to agree 100%. That’s just “who they are”.
I’ve got white-trash relatives. They’re mostly average IQ types, but they have enough other problems (mostly of their own making) to keep them from improving themselves. Whenever one of them show even an inkling of potential, the more well-off relations are quick to lend a hand, but I’m mostly done with that because, while they can do well-enough while you’re holding their hand, it don’t take but maybe a month or two before their back-sliding into their old ways once you let stand on their own.

Think I mentioned before, Mike had a layover in Portland a couple of weeks ago. He was curious if the the violence and destruction was real or embellished, so he asked the hotel van girl (who was from California, had a nose ring and blue hair so…not a conservative). She said it was terrible and dangerous and recommended not going downtown.

“Interestingly, Jacobson’s team also suggests vitamin D as a potentially useful Covid-19 drug. The vitamin is involved in the RAS system and could prove helpful by reducing levels of another compound, known as REN. Again, this could stop potentially deadly bradykinin storms from forming. The researchers note that vitamin D has already been shown to help those with Covid-19. The vitamin is readily available over the counter, and around 20% of the population is deficient. If indeed the vitamin proves effective at reducing the severity of bradykinin storms, it could be an easy, relatively safe way to reduce the severity of the virus.

The legitimate fears that hospitals would be overwhelmed apparently explain the (in retrospect, deadly) orders of the governors of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan requiring elderly care facilities to admit coronavirus-infected patients. And the original purpose to “flatten the curve” segued into “stamp out the virus.”
But the apparent success in this venture by a few nations that enjoy some degree of geographic isolation (South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, New Zealand) could never be replicated in a continent-sized and globalized nation such as the U.S.
Governors imposing continued lockdowns claimed to be “following the science.”

He said he’s had worse flus, but it hasn’t been fun obviously.
We picked his vegetables and eggs for him this morning, before the big snow.
