Young Men — Make a P and J Sammich

Many people believe that Jungian Myers-Briggs personality type model is effective.  Perhaps, not perfect, but effective.  And effective is what young men need, as the system is stacked against them.

One of the dimensions deals with the approach toward doing stuff.   The Judging type ( J ) is oriented toward getting things done, they want resolution.  The Perceiving type ( P ) is has a predisposition toward doing, but not necessarily driving toward resolution.  The J’s are the get ‘er done type, and the P is often the have fun type.

The J often accomplishes the task that needs to be done, while the P often becomes more skilled as he practices things more (with often a problem being that he doesn’t always get what needs to be done done).

People often become of one type or the other.  However, that does not mean that the other type cannot be developed.  In fact, that is what is being advocated here, for a combination of the two can be very powerful.  In short, get useful things done, develop your skills, and maybe enjoy doing it at least a bit.

Exit question — Why is it more important for men to be practical than for women?

The Sensing/ iNtuitive part of the MBTI has been located in the brain. Some people have a short neural pathway for processing information and others have a long neural pathway. The more the brain processes information before it gets stored, the better it is at interpretation & lateral thinking but the worse it is at simple recall.

That’s why the professor is absent-minded. He’s so busy thinking about the meaning that he forgets the actual input.

Ringo is that weird British guy who wasn’t good enough to get into Sabaton. You might want to think about doing a series of posts on your list above, it would be interesting. I’d suggest adding Bishnu Shrestha to the list since you can never go wrong with a Gurkha.

Another example of Elon’s “if you don’t make stuff, there won’t be any stuff.”

If you stop the labour or close the business that is your source of base materials the whole thing goes. It just takes a few months to feel it.

Farmers can’t get labour so not crops to tend, meat to butcher.
Mills and mines shut for two months so no base materials
Pipefitters, die makers, parts stamping need to physically distance cutting production in half.
Three pipeline projects cancelled this week so no future fuel.

You can print the funds and inflate the stocks and give the consumer stimulus

But if we don’t do the hard dangerous work of pulling resources from mother earth you wont have houses, food, fuel, repairs.

God help us going into hurricane season let alone the coming winter.

The government being city folk don’t understand the lead times in all this.
We will just switch it back on.

Plus how many small intermediaries along the way say fuck it and retire or close up.
A logging crew here, a small mill there, a five truck regional hauler, a small stamping plant.
The mom and pop wholesaler. The lone garage and fuel depot in a resort town.

Home depot does not make lumber. Lowes does not machine screws. Walmart does not grow carrots. The little guy does. And you just forced them to close for two months. Many forever.

Thankfully, an INTJ is here to sort this out for y’all.
Why is it more important for men to be practical than for women?

Because men have the primary human role, while the woman’s role is a subordinate role.(despite her childbearing function being absolutely essential, which can make determining the women’s role confusing for the less analytical, less intelligent, or feelings-minded folk)
If you analyze it until you come to the correct conclusion,(temporarily setting aside women’s co-necessary reproductive function, for mental clarity) the man is the primary element of mankind, and the woman is supplementary. God tells us this, but it can also be deduced from nature, as a naturalistic deduction:
Aristotle states, “as regards the sexes, the male is by nature superior and the female inferior, the male ruler and the female subject”.

Aristotle’s biology gave ‘scientific expression’ to the basic patriarchal assumption that the male is the normative and representative expression of the human species and the female is not only secondary and auxiliary to the male but lacks full human status in physical strength, moral self-control, and reasoning capacity. The lesser ‘nature’ thus confirms the female’s subjugation to the male as her ‘natural’ place in the universe.

You don’t have to like the answer, but here it is: Because men are the sex of primary importance.(1 Corinthians 11:3,7-9)

Most def a revolt going on in Fayetteville. Never did like that town. NC is full of black folk. Ain’t nothing but niggers in Fayetteville. They are on the move. Politically and an upsurge in anti White violence.

Thing is, the city can’t gauge the folks who just quietly dip the fuck out with their skill set, rule following, work ethic and what not until its too late to stop the exodus. Like Detroit or MGTOW dipping out inn the SMP/ MMP.

I know my friend sent a letter to the editor but I doubt it was published or even read by anyone. He mentioned why at work and the low skilled moon crickets thought it was awesome he was leaving. No one in politics give a shit about hard working beta type White dudes. No one but Trump that is

On the Trump front, I am starting to see more Trump signs up. Ain’t yet seen any Biden signs expect my one neighbour. Fucking yankee transplants. They aren’t speaking to me. Haven’t spoken to me in a while now. They shot their mouth off about the South right after they moved here; few weeks later I refused to help them after some storm surge flooding. Don’t even recognize their exstaince but apparently they think they can run down Southern men and expect invites to our BBQ’S and for us to bail them out when they don’t know how-to live on an intercoastal water way.

Please read the imbedded letter from several top physicians in the article.
Best letter on a reasoned approach. I personally worked with several of them for over a decade.

They are taking a reasonable approach. We cannot maintain social distancing, masking, partial shutdown for years. That is how long a vaccine will really take.

The health issues of delayed routine care. The lack of social interaction. The reduced thru put of an economy that must have ques. The visual impact of everyone masked always.

They succinctly outline these key points.

There is a larger obstacle. I have worked in health messaging a long time. How long did it take to change attitudes on drunk driving etc.?

Read the comments on this or any covid reopening article. Regardless of what rate you think we should reopen, most agree we cannot stay lockdown fully until a vaccine years away.

But look at the fear. The risk adverse. The hyper focus on covid and nothing else.

The Powers have been too good at putting the fear in folks.

A good portion 25+% believe honestly that any exposure is bad. Many rightly so because they are in a vulnerable group. But many are strong, healthy adults under 50 with minimal risk.

“Oh no the death rate is not 0.2%, the Powers said it is 5%, 1 in 20. I cannot risk it.”

If we lifted every sanction now, stopped the fear mongering, even got behind reasonable messaging. Will it work?

You all know several people who wear masks even in the car alone. Who won’t return to work until there is a vaccine. Will never let their kid have a playdate again.

My fear is the Fear has been planted too deep.

So even if you reopen and all the businesses left can go back to full capacity. Everyone can go back to their old jobs.

    The labour participation rate tanked.

20% are too scared to return without a vaccine. See above rant

10% are retired boomers, the effect of 2008 boomers delaying retirement, thats over.

10% are owners worked decades for themselves, who lost thriving businesses, are they now going to become employees?

I never liked Fayetteville either. It’s the only place I’ve seen a car jacking at a stop light (I was in the middle and the car to the left of me took the car of the guy to the right, brandishing a knife…the guy just ran down the street away from his car to keep from getting stabbed, a girl in the car was screaming “take that n*ger’s car!” They were all black folks). And you know I taught at Westover. What a nightmare.
I don’t know why he is moving (Mike told me he was moving, I didn’t ask why…I was more curious why he ever chose that spot in the first place, when you can choose anywhere) but I have a hunch that’s probably the reason. It was his retirement home.

    re. Ringo:

The wonderful thing about life is that you can take from it what you like, and leave the rest for others. No need to fret about Ringo. The advert came up on-line, and FB had just started a new thread, so I posted the link. At 80, there probably won’t be many more birthday celebrations.

Since 1989, Ringo has been pulling together noted musicians who were available into his All-Starr Band and going on tour. For the most part, it seems that fun was had by all. This part of Ringo’s life seems to have pretty much eclipsed his Beatles fame. Go out and jam with noted musicians and give the audience a good time. Seems to be a winning formula, since the concerts are always well attended

Ringo is married to Barbara Bach. Joe Walsh is married to Barbara’s sister. So you see Ringo and Joe together a lot, because they are family now (a couple of sisters taking care of a couple of national treasures). Joe plays with the All-Starr Band from time to time. I think he is in the video below.

Here is a song from one of the All-Starr concerts

That was always going to be the case. I knew Florida would see a second spike because they didn’t get a big one the first time and the state is filled with longterm elderly care facilities. It is basically impossible to contain something like that in a facility like that. They aren’t going to keep people in the hospital for weeks until they are fully recovered. They can’t. The best thing for them would be home care.

The invasion of Iceland (codenamed Operation Fork) by the Royal Navy and Royal Marines occurred on 10 May 1940, during World War II. The invasion was performed because the British government feared that Iceland would be used by the Germans, who had recently overrun Denmark, which was in personal union with Iceland and which had previously been largely responsible for Iceland’s foreign policy. The Government of Iceland issued a protest, charging that its neutrality had been “flagrantly violated” and “its independence infringed”.[1]

At the start of the war, the UK imposed strict export controls on Icelandic goods, preventing profitable shipments to Germany, as part of its naval blockade. The UK offered assistance to Iceland, seeking co-operation “as a belligerent and an ally”,[This quote needs a citation] but Reykjavík refused and reaffirmed its neutrality. The German diplomatic presence in Iceland, along with the island’s strategic importance, alarmed the UK government.[2]

After failing to persuade the Icelandic government to join the Allies, the UK invaded on the morning of 10 May 1940. The initial force of 746 Royal Marines commanded by Colonel Robert Sturges disembarked at the capital Reykjavík. Meeting no resistance, the troops moved quickly to disable communication networks, secure strategic locations, and arrest German citizens. Requisitioning local transport, the troops moved to Hvalfjörður, Kaldaðarnes, Sandskeið, and Akranes to secure potential landing areas against the possibility of a German counterattack

Seems a bit extreme. I assume that accusations that the dead guy was racist will be forthcoming. Can’t see how else the shooter ends up being the victim here

  96. Yes I agree prayers alone aren’t enough. I do believe prayers can help bring the help needed, though. For example through my recent upped networking with the farm folk , a couple who have a small tractor offered to do some tractor work for a reasonable price, and have been helping out here and there with other stuff, as there’s never ending stuff. Well turns out they live 100% off the grid, have a whole bunch of useful and interesting skills I am lacking. So one thing leads to another and now they are teaching me all sorts of stuff and helping make sure I am geared up. The wife said the other day if things get really bad they decided they may just want us to come to their place for awhile. (It’s more remote than mine.) Naturally I hope it doesn’t come to that, I prefer good wins And bad stays in urban areas, but it was very touching and they have 500 pounds of salt alone plus an otherwise equally stocked set up so if so guess we’ll be crash course homesteaders at that rate. Lots of other such connections are also making themselves known. And so it’s always been a combo of prayer and work and faith around here. And while I don’t feel 100% ready (does anyone???) I know we are better positioned than 85%+ (maybe more) so I try to keep that in mind, too.

The recent stuff showed me that. By the time others were birding TP I had three months plus stock laid up, and we did not need for anything. I was amazed to see so many with carts stacked with TO and bottled water but NO FOOD and I worried for them. (Water is abundant where I am, so sticking so much vs learning purification and stocking supplies for that makes way more sense.) Some have no survival or rural living sense at all. The suburbs and cities would not be a good place to be if shtf.

Being likable and having skills to contribute is always a good thing, too!

  97. Hoarding TP, I mean. I was stocked up w food and all we needed while others were wasting time stocking TP and such, I mean.

I just thought, if I were my grandma and went to town rarely, what would I need? And I got that. It’s not rocket science but apparently for many it is.

KH, you should read it through again, because you missed the part where he specifically point out that without elite backing, it is all a LARP. It is a well written piece, and it is what will occur as civilization degrades. I recently took a class on European Christianity, and the process he describes is the same process that took place as Rome declined and fell.

The warrior elite converted to Christianity because those that did not lost out to the superior trust and organization of Christians. The priestly elite taught the population to obey the warrior elite and were protected in return. The people, protected and controlled, were more productive and had more food to survive.

A cowboy gun hand is a knight is an military operator is an armed security contractor. The words change, but the essence remains. If I end up living somewhere as the local hired gun, then I am a knight, whatever else it is called. Thats the way the world is looking to turn, and I’m okay with that.

Yep we spread it as far as we could.

Sharkly “y’all” and “off of” are popular Americanisms down under. To us, it’s an attractive form of speech and America’s southern accent is easy on the ears. I must admit I over-do it here but I can’t help it.

Yep and what with that and KH’s “No worries” (a Kiwiism if ever there was one) I’m starting to wonder if our spreading was not entirely in vain.

Water cannons are the bomb yo!

Seriously .. those of us that have used this ..

A portable monitor gun can attest to the power of water guns!

You’d better have that bad boy anchored and the hoses run perfectly to negate the thrust. A truck mounted unit would be the holy grail of crowd control.

    They attack peoples property

Being a man who holds property rights as sacred I think such an approach is warranted

This notion that lives are of greater value than some other man’s property is straight up leftist gibberish

Property rights are sacred. They are so sacred that they made the Ten Commandments twice. God himself literally carved them in stone to make a point.

Don’t worry Cill, those good ol’ boys from the South don’t mind y’all appropriating their dialect and culture. In fact, they love to share their culture. They even shared their beloved Nascar with the Yankees. … Dadgum, they might aughta not! Suddenly Nascar is the social-justice racing league, driving historical apology laps over its fans and doing burnouts on Richard Petty’s grave, trying to be as diverse as The Village People and just as gay too! I’ma puke muh grits out!

There are a shit ton of rural blacks and blacks who farm

Some negro hippie flim maker did a documentary on it becuase he was tired of how little folks know about non urban negroes.

Occasionally I wonder how fucked they will be when the inevitable race war kicks off. Mostly I don’t give a shit but I know of at least one family who’s concerned about it. Most White folks arent in fact racist so I think they’d be good to go unless they allow their urban kin folk to show up and show out
