Useful Idiots

How many women, if they really understood Feminism, would really support it?  Now and throughout history?

There are those that are true believers, ones that to their core have the Feminism DNA.  Then there are the would-be exploiters; the ones that understand what Feminism really is, and use it to for their nefarious goals.

Finally, there are the Useful Idiots.  Some history,

UsefulIdiot. UsefulIdiots is a pungent phrase usually attributed to Lenin. They are driven by Pathological Altruism, believing that they know how to run our lives better than us and believing the Western Guilt stories. Some qualify as members of the Lunatic Fringe.

Huge swaths of women feminists (and male feminists also) believe all that they are told about feminism.  Oddly enough, the reality that they see on the ground does not affect their view. even it it is contradictory toward it.  There must be something powerful here to do so, or perhaps it might be explained a just an effective exploitive trick.

Are women especially prone to becoming useful idiots?  Perhaps being a fella makes me prejudiced to say yes.  Is their herd instinct a factor?  Or could it be because they want to fit in socially with the in-group, with Feminism being that in-group?  Or maybe I am all wet?  What do you think?

Heck .. they cell-uh-brate’em after they die .. breakin’ th law no less ..

A YouTube star and presenter was killed in an electric scooter crash in what is believed to be the first fatal crash involving one of the scooters in the UK.

An announcement on Emily Hartridge’s official Instagram account on Saturday said that Hartridge “was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away.”

“We all loved her to bits and she will never be forgotten. She has touched so many lives it’s hard to imagine things without her,” the post said.

London’s Metropolitan Police said that a woman in her 30s died at the scene after a crash between an electric scooter and a truck on Friday.

Multiple UK outlets, including the BBC, The Guardian, and Sky News, identified Hartridge, 35, as the victim.

Hartridge had almost 50,000 Instagram followers and almost 350,000 subscribers on YouTube, while her most popular video has 24 million views. She posted regularly about topics like mental health, fitness, and sex.

Sky News reported that she was due to host a mental health event on Saturday, and wrote that she wanted to “create a safe space where women could talk about whatever they wanted and feel supported by other women who have gone through similar experiences.”

Check-out her socials if you have time to waste.

Oh .. she has some real dozzy vid’s .. why she’s single .. freezin’ her eggs (egg diaries) .. her past boyfriends (& girlfriends) ..

    She’s (WAS) a regular hoot.

They may be useful idiots, but they still have to live with that voice in their head that is growing ever louder. They may be useful idiots, but the are still human. This is a good segue from the subject of the last thread into this one.

In response to AlanK’s post, I said: One of the foundational needs we humans have (most of us anyway) is to know that we matter to somebody.

    For example:

    And she said – stranger
Shut out the light and lead me
Somewhere – shut out the shadows, too
And while we lay there, makin’ believe you love me
Stranger, could I believe in you

This study concluded that transgender athletes born male have an “intolerable,” or overwhelming, advantage over biological women in athletic competition. The paper stated healthy male test subjects “did not lose significant muscle mass (or power)” when their testosterone levels were suppressed below the International Olympic Committee guidelines for transgender athletes of 10nmol/L.

Further, it found these biological males could retain their muscle mass through training and that because of muscle memory, their mass and strength could be “rebuilt” through training. It also found that giving opposite-sex hormones to transgender people post-puberty did not alter the athletic-enhancing effects of testosterone on the male body…

When technical qualifications and cultural fit are suggested as elements of immigration policy, adversarial reactions far surpass the typical reflexive and groundless accusations of racism routinely hurled against conservatives. Indeed, the hysteria in such circumstances is reminiscent of the scene in “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in which the Ark of the Covenant is opened, and the faces of Nazis melt right off.

We should be asking of applicants is whether they have a pluralist, tolerant view of others and support individual freedom and self-representative values. This would certainly hard to measure, as well as susceptible to mismanagement and fraud, but how this could be accomplished should be investigated and considered.

These expansive definitions of wrongdoing were paired with an adjudication system lacking nearly every aspect of fair process. “In recent years, it has become commonplace to deny accused students access to the complaint, the evidence, the identities of the witnesses, or the investigative report, and to forbid them from questioning complainants or witnesses,” Gersen noted in a recent piece in The New Yorkerlooking back at the changes wrought by the Dear Colleague letter.

The sex bureaucracy, in other words, pivoted from punishing sexual violence to imposing a normative vision of ideal sex, to which students are held administratively accountable.

A few months ago British MP Jacob Rees-Mogg was criticized for having shared a speech given in the Bundestag by a politician from the Alternative for Germany party (AfD). The Labour MP David Lammy has also compared the European Research Group of Tory MPs to the Nazis. Given an opportunity to withdraw that comment he declined, insisting that the comparison ‘wasn’t strong enough’. Perhaps Lammy can provide evidence that Jacob Rees-Mogg has killed more than six million Jews?

Such terms are naturally thrown around by people who like to grandstand. But beneath them lies a well of confusion which urgently needs addressing. Terms such as ‘fascist’, ‘far right’ and ‘white supremacist’ are serious.

My memory won’t be perfect here, but I think I am at least in the ballpark.

Within the last 6 to 9 months or so, Ton made a comment that made me do a double-take. Paraphrasing – it seemed to me he was saying something to the effect that he was getting his affairs in order because he didn’t think he had much time left. That could have referred to getting his house rebuilt from the storm or it could have referred to his health, or to something else. If it referred to his health, I didn’t think it was appropriate to ask him what he meant and so I didn’t.

Since around 1970 we have waged war on the very idea of fatherhood, as part of our war against The Patriarchy. Fathers are no longer accepted as the head of the family, and aside from fulfilling the role of walking wallet we no longer even have a clear accepted definition of what fathers do. Fathers are now deputy parents, who serve at the pleasure of the mother.

What, exactly, are they whining about? CVS decided to renegotiate its terms with The Pill Club, which increased the cost of doing business for the delivery service. It seems that The Pill Club, instead of cutting costs or passing on the cost to the consumer, decided to blackmail CVS with bad press to get a better deal for itself. It threatened its own customers with denial of service and blamed it on CVS. CVS responded by reminding people that they are not living in a live-action remake of Wall-E and they can, in fact, drive to any CVS store and pick up their birth control pills at the same low price as always. “Our coverage of contraceptives is widespread throughout our network of 68,000 pharmacies, ensuring accessible and affordable access to our members. The accusations being made by The Pill Club against CVS Caremark are extremely misleading.”
