Joe, my coworker friend, has a wife with lots of girlfriends (over 10). They are almost all the same. They are highly educated, but not in STEM. They are nearing the initial wall phase. They have been on and off the carousel. It has been the same life script for all of them.
I am sure that you can guess at the next part. None have a fella that is a long term prospect. Here is strong anecdotal proof that much of what the manosphere says is truth.
So what is/was the problem? There are many factors, but they more or less coalesce into the ladies overpricing themselves relative to the market. They all want to marry up (hypergamy again). They all believe that their value is high (though many have appearances that are degrading). They all believe that they are awesome.
Here are two things that they need to know: they aren’t that great, and that there just are not that many men out there that they would consider to be great. If they were aware of the market mismatch, would they do things differently? Probably not, because they wouldn’t believe it. The narrative is truth, the truth is the narrative.
