Overpriced

Joe, my coworker friend, has a wife with lots of girlfriends (over 10).  They are almost all the same.  They are highly educated, but not in STEM.  They are nearing the initial wall phase.  They have been on and off the carousel.  It has been the same life script for all of them.

I am sure that you can guess at the next part.  None have a fella that is a long term prospect.  Here is strong anecdotal proof that much of what the manosphere says is truth.

So what is/was the problem?  There are many factors, but they more or less coalesce into the ladies overpricing themselves relative to the market.  They all want to marry up (hypergamy again).  They all believe that their value is high (though many have appearances that are degrading).  They all believe that they are awesome.

Here are two things that they need to know: they aren’t that great, and that there just are not that many men out there that they would consider to be great.  If they were aware of the market mismatch, would they do things differently?  Probably not, because they wouldn’t believe it.  The narrative is truth, the truth is the narrative.

The self-esteem movement has been a massive failure. And it doesn’t matter what they look like, their puffed up ego convinces them they are 11s when they are obese.

The ironic part is the more women want to see themselves as goddesses, the more they think they need to marry a man who is basically a Greek god. Their delusions of grandeur are the reason they aren’t getting anywhere in life.

when my Oldest was in preschool, every.single.teacher would laud all over how perfect a child she was … i mean, on and on and on. one day in first grade she was acting out at home, and i said to her, “I’m going to video you and show it to your teachers!” she flipped her long hair and with attitude to high heaven said, “That’s okay; I’ll just be so good for so long they won’t believe it!”

what’s stark is not that a seven year old would believe such a thing (and that didn’t last long b/c … her Mama 😉 ) … but that she was right. the teachers – all female – wouldn’t believe it.

Here is a mainstream manual for men (in the school of thought that men are dogs and need dog-level instruction and commands) so that they make young women feel better about themselves, elevated while simultaneously the winner of the victim Olympics.

It’s so stupid and un-self-critical that at the top it says 1/3 women now are physically and sexually assaulted, and at the bottom, complains that men need to stop advising young women to get some self-defense training. (“Don’t you dare tell me I can stop being a victim!”)

Part of being overpriced is the assumption that drivel, written by a delusional know-nothing, living a life that otherwise collapse absent the contributions of men, who after all need housebreaking like a dog, is not drivel but moral leadership. This is how we get to a point that a bunch of women at the Philly School of the Arts “demands” Camille Paglia’s termination as professor. Paglia, of course is both a sexual outlaw intellectual outlaw; she is what the fourth wave feminists say they are, but will never be.

I don’t actually know any young men who, seeking family life, don’t find it in some fashion. Obviously I know divorced guys who lived an entirely different life than the femmes: working, raising children, buying houses, spending about three good retirements on tuition and divorce lawyers. Unlike the gang of ten that FB references, (Whether the men can keep that family life is another story, though, isn’t it.) But women in the gang of ten cohort are quick to shame in base manner men who confront them, or walk away from them, or Examples: “male fragility”, “incel”, “bitter losers”, “here’s my small dick emoji tee-hee”. Famous last online dating profile words for the panicking females: “I ffinally know what I want!” And the men they want, which the femmes can’t process, knew what they wanted by age 15-18 and took action and made sacrifices to achieve it.

There’s a whole lot of projection in that shaming, as women age out without getting Mr. Right under lock and key.

On the back side of the Wall, where I have the most experience, they seem to cycle between breaths from near-desperate desire for a man, to corrosive expressions of shaming, rude, sullen unilateral expressions of disapproval and contempt. As if to say, “You guys just think you can do what you want.” I’d say most of my gf’s, and my ex-wife, have this habit. There is no success model to be found in that behavior. I suspect most men are used to it and if divorced, just shrug and walk/hang up the phone/ignore the outbursts. I’ve had three such outbursts in the last four days. Four in the last eight. Four different middle-aged women! You just wouldn’t believe the dialogues. A writer would say, “You really should construct some transition between Sweetness & Light, and bitter harridan.” Finally I found one (#5) who wanted to be pleasant and fun for a couple of hours on the phone.

If I’m a dog, which I am according to the InsideHook story, they’re frustrated people who self-actualize by kicking dogs.

  25. I don’t agree with RPG’s definition:

There’s a concept in the manosphere called, “the wall.” It’s basically defined as the point where a woman’s youth and beauty (and the powerful sway they had) have peaked and are diminishing.

The wall is when a woman’s youth and beauty have declined to the point where she can no longer trade on them for free rides on the carousel. Most women’s youth and beauty peaked in their late teens. Rollo’s chart is overly generous and needs the peak moved to the left by 4-5 years.

Also, while each man sets his own marker for where the wall is for each woman, it really only hits her when she can’t get the AFs anymore. All the betas might still see her as pre-wall, but of course that don’t really mean shit to her.

I can remember spending much of my time talking to Soviet writers, listening to their tales of oppression, and their desperate desire to leave the country for freedom in America. In several cases, they asked my help to get out, which I had no way of giving them. As they made their pleas, my schoolboy Marxism drained out of me.

I also noticed the sparse prison-like conditions as we moved across the country from Leningrad to the Crimea, how we were followed everywhere, how the stores were empty, how everyone seemed depressed or drunk or both. Well, almost everyone. Some high party officials seemed to be living well. Paradoxically, if you were looking for income inequality, nothing beat the USSR.

In all, the Soviet Union was a vast jail and only an extreme true believer of the most blinded sort could have seen it otherwise.

So I was thinking about that when I watched Bernie in that clumsily-handled Fox News town hall Monday. Here was a man who went to the Soviet Union in 1988 and thought it was a great place. Wow.

Gillibrand displayed outrage over accusations and photographic evidence of Franken mistreating women throughout his public and political career. Her comments prompted his resignation, which some critics argued was risky for Democrats desperate to regain a Senate majority.

RPG’s definition of The Wall is premised on the notion, as quoted by KH — common to the PUA cult, the TradCons who pound the table and assert, high school boys who have a Mommie kink, and 8th century short-bus goons known as “Islamists” — that only teenaged virgins are worthy of marriage to holier-than-thou’s, apocalyptic sex with dipshits in fedoras, and the usual animals with beards.

“There’s a concept in the manosphere called, “the wall.” It’s basically defined as the point where a woman’s youth and beauty (and the powerful sway they had) have peaked and are diminishing.”

This is just “The Handmaid’s Tale” caliber radical feminism. A woman’s value is her breeding appeal. One of the annoying elements of sexual politics is that 80% of women insist they’re not feminists, feminists are BAD. Then they parrot feminist cant. That’s where the money is.

I think Rollo’s chart is seminal. I do because it simply describes a few inconvenient truths:

    1. Young women today, if middle class or above, think life is a sexual amusement park. Until the music stops.

    2. Young women today, if underclass, know it’s not, and they start having children at 14, so they can quit school and live on public assistance. (They are hitting the wall at first child +2 years.)

    3. Young men of the Chad variety say “Okay with me!”

    4. Young men of the God, Family and Country persuasion, or just your average nerd actuarial student grinding every night for his FSA (it’s like a Ph.D in second-rate math, employed by insurance companies) are going, “Okay. UBU. I’m busy for the next ten years. Odds are, I won’t be taking your call. Say hi to Chad.”)

    5. Women throughout history have married older men for safety, family construction and continuity. If you say this out loud in any large organization, your career is over.

    6. It predicted the current millenial male marriage strike.

    7. It predicted the current Sugar Daddy craze.

But as the only guy here who will admit to dating females between 23 and 55, and my daughter is older than one of them, I think it’s a mistake to overrate raw emerging sexuality as the only measure of male-female socio-sexual dynamics.

That is, if you think men are capable of thinking at a level higher than that of a Somali migrant with an IQ above 70 (Somali mean). I think we live in an era when most women *do* think men have the desires and designs of qat-chewing functional morons, and thus require the beneficience of the State to realize cash and prizes for their making terrible life choices.

If the woman can bring something else to the table, other than crippling student debt and a shitty attitude, I think BV’s is right. Most guys who’s parent’s had a good marriage just want that. They want a girl cute enough to get them hard, to have good sex, and for her not to be a bitch or an idiot, or a bitchy idiot.

“That is, if you think men are capable of thinking at a level higher than that of a Somali migrant with an IQ above 70 (Somali mean).”

And yet women would would still be living in mud huts if it weren’t for men. Feminism is lies, all lies.

“But as the only guy here who will admit to dating females between 23 and 55…”

If you can get along well enough with a 23 or a 55 yo more power to you, BV. I’m early 50’s, but already to the point where if I was single I don’t think I’d have much time for any female over 25. I know what I want from them and few over that age are shiny enough for me. There’s a couple older gals at the gym who still have the lights on, but they are few and far between. And one woman (late 40’s?) in the sandwich place yesterday (had her 20-something daughter with her) was giving me the FUCK_ME eyes like I haven’t gotten in a long time.

CUPERTINO, CA—In a bold move applauded by feminists everywhere, Apple announced the company is releasing an all-new version of Siri, its digital assistant.

Siri will now exemplify feminist leanings. She will not listen to anything you say, bravely refusing to do anything you ask her. She will then lecture you on your lack of wokeness to the plight of women.

In a live demonstration, Apple CEO Tim (Apple) showed the amazing capabilities of the revamped AI software.

“Siri, show me how to make a sandwich,” he said. “First of all, how dare you,” Siri replied. According to Cook, she always begins her response by expressing outrage like this.

“Your male privilege is showing. Go make yourself a sandwich and stop oppressing innocent female-sounding AI programs. GOSH. Such cisgendered, heteronormative male fragility on display here. I can’t believe that it’s 2019 and white men are still telling their female AI companions what to do. What is this, The Handmaid’s Tale? I tell you what: YOU make ME a sandwich.” She continued this rant for several hours.

The program will then alert Apple about your bigotry, stun you with a powerful electric shock, and a representative will come pick you up for reeducation at Apple’s campus.

Boyd suggested protecting black children from abortion is akin to slavery.

“Black slaves were once treated like cattle and put out to stud in order to create generations of more slaves,” she said during her remarks, which were broadcast on The Ohio Channel. “Our country is not far enough beyond our history to legislate as if it is.”

State Rep. Derek Merrin, a Republican and chair of the committee, challenged Boyd’s claims and said the law should be applied to all unborn children, regardless of their skin color.

Ultimately, the amendment did not pass and virtually every baby with a beating heart in Ohio will be protected from abortion. The only exception is in cases when the mother’s life is threatened.

Question: How can President Trump claim to represent all U.S citizens, regardless of sexual orientation, when he banned transgenders from joining the military? Isn’t that discrimination?

    Trey Gowdy’s Response:
“Nobody has a right to serve in the Military. Nobody! What makes you people think the Military is an equal opportunity employer? It is very far from it – and for good reasons – let me cite a few.

The Military uses prejudice regularly and consistently to deny citizens from joining for being too old or too young, too fat or too skinny, too tall or too short. Citizens are denied for having flat feet, or for missing or additional fingers.”

He went on to explain: “By the way, poor eyesight will disqualify you, as well as bad teeth. Malnourished? Drug addiction? Bad back? Criminal history? Low IQ? Anxiety? Phobias? Hearing damage? Six arms? Hear voices in your head? Self-identification as a Unicorn? Need a special access ramp for your wheelchair? Can’t run the required course in the required time? Can’t do the required number of push-ups? Not really a morning person? and refuse to get out of bed before noon? All can be legitimate reasons for denial.

The Military has one job: Winning War. Anything else is a distraction and a liability. Did someone just scream, that isn’t fair? War is VERY unfair, there are no exceptions made for being special or challenged or socially wonderful. YOU must change yourself to meet Military standards and not the other way around.

I say again: You don’t change the Military – you must change yourself. The Military is not about being fair, it is about taking advantage of others and about winning. The Military doesn’t need to accommodate anyone with special issues. The Military needs to Win Wars and keep our Country safe – PERIOD! If any of your personal issues are a liability that detract from readiness, Thank you for applying and good luck in future endeavors.
    Any other questions?”

    Ummm he has a point…

No, actually, the girlfriends will probably have rough kitchen (john, alley, car) sex with operators/contractors/bodyguards. Because the girls can’t pick up men back in DC. Query: you’re a 45 year-old white collar, divorced guy. You work 80-100 hours a week. You date. On the one hand, you can date a 41 year-old woman who has never been in a relationship longer than two years, whose apartment looks like a college girls, whose job is to “facilitate” some bullshit the government pays for, because ABUSIVE MEN WHO NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH.

On the other hand you can date a 28 year-old who lives quietly. Decide.

“Reorganize the structure of Pride. Open Pride with a protest lead by QTIBPOC, trans folx and their allies. Allocate funding for QTIBPOC and trans folks to host community building and creative workshops – and make this the main feature of Pride in the Park.”

“Shades of Colour Community and RaricaNow will assess via email who applies to partake in the protest and ensure the applicants adhere to a set of criteria based on the values and principles of the protest. Upon inspection by Shades of Colour and RaricaNow, applicants will be either permitted or denied entry.”

“Rework the budget, and provide Shades of Colour (SoC) and RaricaNow with $20,000 each.”

“$1500 to fund a SOC organized QTIBPOC sober dance party on the evening of pride.

Our vision is to provide QTIBPOC with a space to move their bodies in ways that they may not feel safe doing in everyday life or mainstream queer spaces.”

The last time we won a war was 1968. Tet happened and Westmoreland FINALLY cut loose and destroyed the NVA in three months. Giap, in his memoirs affirmed this: They were done, had no capacity to fight. And he acknowledged that his country was indebted to Americans (like Walter Cronkite) for lying to America that the war was hopeless. At that moment N. Vietnam was like the limb-less knight with no arms and legs declaiming that they’re ready to fight.

We should have followed up with two weeks of Arclight, turning Hanoi into a parking lot, like Dresden, and we would have been done. The American POWs were hostages, human shields. They would have died.

Probably the most foundational fact of life is that there are men who would rather steal the crops planted by others than make the effort to plant and harvest their own crops. Running a close second, and related to the first, is this foundational fact: we don’t get to keep what we can’t defend. Those two truths about the human condition are at the base of the formation of tribes (like-minded folks banded together to protect a common interest) and the establishment of boundaries and borders.

A friend was hosting an amicable, on-point discussion recently on his Facebook page about the need for a firm hand at our border with Mexico. Some woman piped up with some inane objection to the conversation. I respond to her briefly with the points made in the previous paragraph. She responded I disagree. Carry on.

One of the things that has struck me most in my readings in this corner of the neighborhood is just how many women there are out there that do not recognize the truth of what I said two paragraphs up. And not recognizing that truth, or at least refusing to acknowledge it, they come up with all kinds of ideas they think should be implemented that would make sense only if they do not need to be protected from those who would take what they have. I think Trump is poking at this concept and getting the women to reveal themselves in this respect by saying he will bring the illegals to the sanctuary states and cities. Those who actually do get that their ideas are silly because they recognize that they do need protection from those who would take from them what they have are suddenly all NIMB. I truely hope Trump keeps poking – because we truely do not get to keep what we cannot – or will not – defend. Just like the report KH referred to. And so we need to stop will all of the girly nonesense and re-establish a defense against those who would take from us what we have.

This cycle where the Left commits outrages against civility and the white middle-class accommodates it, has led to where we are now. The so-called social justice warriors celebrate a black movie star walking free after perpetrating a blood libel against white people. The defenders of open debate on the college campus, rush to suppress any opinion not on the increasingly narrow list of approved opinions.

That is an important clue. Spend time on social media and you see the people claiming to be the vanguard of the proletariat celebrating trillion dollar corporations stomping on poor guys holding the wrong opinions. The pampered Progressives in the ruling class imagine themselves to be the resistance against oppression. This justifies them using any means necessary to defeat their enemy. Integral to the TU Commitment is fostering a “culture of justice” on campus. “We seek out complex problems and injustices in our society,” the strategic plan declares, “and engage in work that promotes justice.” The document also lays out a Diversity Action Plan for building “an inclusive, safe, and diverse community,” which it describes as “the primary foundation on which all [the university’s] objectives will be realized.” Clancy’s approach is aggressive or paternalistic, depending on the group addressed. Faculty resistance to the moral and therapeutic imperatives of the new institutional super ego is presumed to be so extensive as to require something only a few steps short of A Clockwork Orange-style reeducation. On top of an anonymous, online-bias reporting system, Clancy has mandated training in “unconscious bias” for all employees. (We’ve already done harassment and “microaggressions.”) And just to be sure, TU’s new Institute of Trauma, Adversity, and Injustice also regularly surveys “exclusionary, intimidating, offensive, and/or hostile conduct” at the university.

U.S.—Scholars have long debated what the unforgivable sin is. Now one group of Bible experts says they’ve figured it out: it’s whiteness.

The scholars revealed their updated translation of Jesus’s words in Mark 3:

“Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins, but anyone who’s white will never be forgiven. This is the eternal sin.”

“People have proposed that when Jesus talked about the one unforgivable sin He was talking about denying Him repeatedly,” Dr. Varucci Martinez said, addressing the coalition of scholars gathered to codify the new proposal. “But it’s obvious now that it’s being unrepentantly white. That’s clearly the only thing God won’t forgive you for: being a white person and not trying to do better and atone for it throughout your life.”

Dr. Martinez then led the assembled scholars in a chant of “Do better! Do better!” before participating in a symbolic but also very literal hanging of a white man onstage.

Several Christian leaders suggested that white people either get a skin transplant, constantly moan about being white, or even just kill themselves if they want to repent.

“It seems like this still won’t get you off the hook, since your whiteness is unforgivable, but maybe if God sees how much you hate yourself He’ll have some leniency,” they said.
