Trump The Alpha Revisited

Way back when, Donald Trump was considered here.  Much has changed since then.  It is time to reconsider.

One aspect of an alpha is that he is willing to take on all comers.  This is illustrated by the extremes of a fella with a drink shield compared to one who is casually man spreading, with a come on, I am ready for anything posture.  Trump absolutely passes this test.  A recent example is when he shot missiles into Syria in retaliation for the use of chemical weapons.  The MSM’s knee jerk response was to suggest that this was a Wag the Dog ploy; from the movie where a President starts a war to distract from a scandal.  In this case, the scandal was supposed to be the Russian Collusion probe.  The MSM, being dense like they are, did not notice that Trump had been tweeting about the Collusion probe for weeks beforehand; almost taunting its members.  Essentially Trump has been in a man spreading posture waiting to handle all comers.

Another aspect of an alpha is that he will stand up for himself (and in this case the USA).  By disposing of the TPP, challenging China on trade issues, working to secure the border, restricting entry into the country, etc. he has been doing just that.  Bullies like North Korea and Iran are feeling the pressure.  Recently Trump stated that if he senses that North Korea is dicking around at the upcoming summit, he will walk out.  People believe him.  Statements like that have been made in the past by others, but nobody has ever believed it.  Remember when Bill Clinton went chasing after Arafat begging him to restart negotiations?  Well, Trump seems to be the opposite of that.

There are lots of men out there who are willing to get behind an alpha male who seems to have their interests in mind.  Furthermore, there are women out there who are enamored by these alpha characteristics.  How this will all play out during the rest of the term and in the next election is to be determined.

It is awfully hard to judge the President in real time. We are not in possession of all the information. Still, Donald Trump continues to surprise. He does have an advantage. He has done a lot of negotiating in the real world.
There is another point that none of us like to be reminded of. Where would be if Hillary had won?

I had an errant thought. Why do we attach so much importance to a leader who is able to attract women? It has no direct bearing on us. If anything, extracurricular skirt chasing could get someone in a position of responsibility into a lot of trouble, unnecessary trouble.

  7. I am not sure what to make of the Stormy Daniels bit. It’s like that’s being tossed in bc the Russia bit isn’t catching hold. But in many ways, while not exactly noble, who cares? Probably a mistake to do considering you know that’s going to come out, and also a mistake for his lawyer ever to offer hush money. It honestly would not surprise me if he and Melania did not have an agreement that discrete indescretions were ok. Maybe playboy playmates of the year and porn stars were not the best choices of discrete but while I get the bunny thing, the other gal just seems like a shank. If carousel riders are yuck, porn stars seem like they would be a whole other level of no thanks, but what do I know? While he’s clearly not the first Alpha to do so, it may prove such choices are an opening he wishes now folks didn’t have. Or maybe he doesn’t care. Because really isn’t that between him and his wife? Like he’s the first world leader to fuck around? Hardly. Yawn. But they will work w what thry’ve got I suppose. Funny how those same folks demanding all make and manner of sexual deviation be accepted are holding him to a 1950s standard. But it may work bc his base mostly do want traditional values and morals. If it means more than all the rest he is doing as promised is yet to be seen. Perhaps his best chess move would be to own having an open situation if it’s true, say it’s nobody’s biz but he and his wife’s, remind folks that he’s been elected to focus on the world problems st hand, and just move forward? I dunno…

  12. Immigration alone may have been the issue that got him elected. And he’s done his best to stand that line. A recent poll found 59% of CA residents agreed w his strict immigration law stance. That alone says he has a lot of silent support on this. Way more than 59% in most states, especially border ones, I would imagine.

Legit. My guess is Trump defines victory in much different terms and is playing a lot longer game then the rest of us. Not to mention being an expert at distraction and setting the narrative.

For a while now, feminists have been trying to find a way to combat “toxic masculinity.” The feminist belief that rape and other sexual crimes stem from societal norms about masculinity has caused the term “toxic” to come to encompass any behavior that is traditionally considered male. So, to combat toxic masculinity, one must weed out all behaviors that are seen as masculine. Which, of course, leaves only behaviors that are seen as feminine. Which means pretty much everyone would have to act like a woman. Hooray for feminism.

A recent article at HuffPost suggests a way to mainstream the idea that, in order to combat toxic masculinity, men must act like women. The article, called “It’s Time For Drag Kings To Detoxify Masculinity On TV,” is written by a drag king named Goldie Peacock. A drag king — for all you unenlightened sexist misogynists out there — is a woman who identifies as a woman but impersonates a man.

FEC records show that the Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign and the DNC conspired to launder $84 million in campaign funds in order to purposely hide donations far in excess of the legal limits for individual donors. I am less concerned with pictorials of Trump than I am with his tamer, less-braggadocio style of late. He is playing politician. He is listening to his advisors too much and following his instincts too little. He needs to listen to his gut more, because his gut tells him what’s best for America and her people. His advisors are telling him what’s most politically expedient now. Trump’s instincts have been right most of the time. He needs to listen to those instincts, and heed them, more.

There’s two things – first, he should not have bombed Syria. There is no American interest implicated in Syria. ISIS was not implicated or affected. Second, where is the border wall? Not only is it not there, Trump hasn’t done anything to put up a wall, or ask for money, or ask for studies.

Close the border. Pull American troops out of Europe and the Far East. Bring them home, and put them along the Rio Grande. The war’s over over there; there’s a full scale invasion happening in Arizona and New Mexico.

Determining who is in the dominate position based on photos can be difficult to judge because they are a moment of time and you don’t know context, or if their boides are in transition from one frame to the other etc etc BUT Trump’s body language is more masculine then the other two ladies even in his most supplication seeking mode. The photo after that is pure I got you bitch shit lord supremacy. Maybe Trump did get the best of Putin on that exchange. Maybe he did not. Which isnt very important. At the micro level

Even with his hand held out, dangling like that Trump has squared shoulders, a proud mascuilne body posistion and a firmness about his face, eyes, jaws, etc etc the other chicks dont have. Which I think is the real educational value in that mental exercise.

    ……………

Dogs as socially subordinate to humans. Completely legit point but the best dogs know when to be subordinate to humans and when to take control of a situation. Best example of that is when guide dogs boss around their humans. Seeing eye dog wont let its human step into the street with on coming traffic no matter the command given. Friends have a Great Dane trained to deal with their special needs son and that dog wont let him out of the house or near any stairs without commands from an adult. The more I focus on my dogs, the more I learn about how dogs interact with people, the more impressed I become. Perhaps one of God’s greatest gifts to mankind

The rich are evil and “aren’t paying their fair share.” Men are successful because of a “patriarchy.” Caucasians do well because of “white privilege.” Liberals can go on and on with all of this, but it reminds me of the black kids I used to work with in a group home who said that working hard on your school work is “acting white.”

Those kids? I don’t blame them for thinking that way because they were young, had problems, and we were doing our best to help straighten them out. What’s the excuse for a liberal college professor to push these sort of ignorant, damaging lies? Liberals think it helps them alienate black Americans from society, which they believe will help Democrats at the ballot box. It’s sick. It’s disgusting. It’s shameful.

    Farm Boy,
I get the feeling that, with identity politics, we’ll all be minorities and that government will rule over us. In the end, there will be no majority to rule over government. It does kind of turn it around from government being the servant of the people to the master of the people. The founding fathers would not like that.

I have heard that Queen Bess did a good job too, but she had to make huge sacrifices to do it.
