Political power in Norway is dominated by women. They hold the office of the prime minister, the finance minister, the foreign minister and the speaker of parliament.
“It’s not a female conspiracy,” says Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
Perhaps not an explicit conspiracy. There is however the Feminine Imperative.
Even by Scandinavian chart-topping standards for gender equality, Norway stands out when it comes to the political landscape (they’re not quite as good in corporate Norway). So what gender issues do these politicians worry about?
Why yes, what gender issues do they worry about? It is about what effect the present policies are having on the men. “Justine Trudeau types” who can suck up and check all of the right boxes probably do fine (or so they think). Other men are/will not.
“The challenge in the Scandinavian countries is not to end up with a large group of young men who have no purpose in life, no hope for a job,” Solberg said in an interview in Oslo.
Let us consider this “purpose” issue. It used to be that men became fathers, breadwinners and the engine that moved the country forward. Apparently this situation no longer exists. This seems like a rather large change.
It’s a demographic that needs careful political attention to avoid a dangerous backlash, the prime minister said. At the University of Oslo, about 57 percent of all PhD students last year were women. The risk of men falling behind also makes them more vulnerable to losing their jobs to automation.
Why should men work to become PhDs when the women have the inside track afterward? Furthermore, surely lots of those PhDs are in “studies” type fields, so how valid are they (though surely these women will be sucked up into jobs somewhere)? As for men, when being the father and head of household is no longer on the table, why put in any extra work?
“That’s what we see in the angry white men who not only don’t like Muslims and immigrants, but absolutely not women either, at least if they can’t keep the woman to themselves,” Solberg said.
Perhaps this implies many different things, all of them bad. It could be suggesting that women are carousel riding sluts who won’t commit (at least until after the men have suffered enough). Or that women are having children out of wedlock intentionally (with government financial support of course, that is what they do in Scandinavia). Or perhaps they are just too amazing for most of the local men. For whatever reason, the women are giving men the cold shoulder.
Tone Troen, Norway’s newly minted speaker of parliament, says she’s confident the next generation will do better. But “it’s important that boys and girls make non-traditional choices when it comes to education,” she said.
Perhaps I am reading too much into this, but what this really seems be implying is that through more thorough indoctrination, everybody will accept all of the fine new alternative lifestyles.
Everybody is the same, except when they decide that they are different (as in originate from a designated victim group). Everybody can make their own decision and be part of mutually consenting decisions as long as it isn’t obviously significantly harmful to an individual at that instant in time. This rule set is the future.
What does this future not consider?
I. Not all groups are the same, or can be made to be the same (like men and women for example)
II. Long term effects on the individuals involved are not considered
III. Effects (long or short term) on children involved are not considered.
IV. Who is going to pay financially for the fallout of the bad effects is not considered.
V. The possibly corrosive effects on society are not considered. (or maybe it is by some, and thoroughly delighted they are).
Norway is rich from oil revenues. They can apparently afford this for now. These policy makers probably feel really good about themselves. They no doubt endlessly congratulate themselves about how progressive and enlightened they are. Possibly many of them realize that it is all a pack of lies, that this taken path to the end could not ever work. Or maybe they don’t. Just best to bask in the glory of your own awesomeness.
Final thought: do large groups of sex starved emasculated men ever lead to stability?

Oops I meant she was scared of a man fleeing from her trap and killed him in ‘self-defense’ right in front of her son.

The very policies these gynocracies bring about is the reason why men check out and women become sluts.

Exactly!
We might have been angry twenty years ago.
Now we just don’t give a fuck.
Otherwise the articles would be “Why are the good men so pissed off?”
Don’t see too many of those do we.

I began to ask students who their heroes are. There is usually silence, and most frequently nothing follows. Why should anyone have heroes? One should be oneself and not form oneself in an alien mold. Here positive ideology supports them: their lack of hero-worship is a sign of maturity.
— From Allan Bloom’s Closing of the American Mind.
Where might our children learn of heroes that can inspire them? The War on Terror is not inspiring, especially since it devoid of victories. Our sports heroes are numerous, but more like technicians than traditional heroes. We have many rich nerds, but they do not display heroic qualities.”

Used to be heros were someone you actually knew or went to see.
As a boy my heros were both my grandfathers.
My paternal grandfather was a 6-7 gentle giant of a man, a beat cop who raised his three boys in a small apartment above a store on the block of his beat. Everyone loved him, crooks feared him. Its where I got the philosophy “under my protection.”
“Everything from this street to that street is under my protection.” Even the stray cats he fed.
My maternal grandfather was a quiet banker. Devoted to his wife, family, employer.
Always limped badly. I just thought it was age. If I asked him he just got a far away look and said it was something he picked up.
After he died I got his medals from WWII. I didn’t even know he served.
Seems his leg got shot up at Normandy while he used his own body to cover two buddies who got hit. He refused to move until the gun nest was taken out. And he never talked about it let alone brag. It was just something he did. Over and done.
We have lost that.
That actual connection to heros, that lived experience, the reality one can aspire to.
I mean what kid aspires to grow up to pilot a transformer against space aliens?

I looked for answers that fit reality as I’d lived it. My search led to amazing research on the social behavior of animals. This showed me that political correctness is biological. The brain chemicals that make us feel good are inherited from earlier mammals. They reward us for behaviors that promote survival in the state of nature. Political correctness stimulates your reward chemicals in primal ways.
I’m not saying we’re hard-wired. On the contrary, our neurons are not connected at birth. We connect them from life experience, and these connections make us who we are. Early experience wires you to expect rewards and pain in ways that happened before. Political correctness wires you to expect rewards and pain in specific ways. It’s hard to re-wire yourself after the neuroplasticity of youth, which is why people cling to political correctness even when they see its flaws.
I finally ripped off the PC goggles and looked at the world without them. You can say I haven’t escaped political correctness because it’s still there. But I have stopped filtering reality through the lens built by the gatekeepers of political correctness. I have learned to focus on the pleasure of my own choices instead of on solidarity with suffering. You can rip off the PC goggles and enjoy your own choices too. You’ll be glad you did!

It could be the ultimate fraud. Across Britain, thousands of men are likely to be raising children that they have been tricked into believing are theirs, when they were really fathered by another man. And now one victim of paternity fraud is calling for it to be made a criminal offence after he spent six years bringing up a boy he thought was his son, only to find out that his wife had used the sperm from her ex-boyfriend at an IVF clinic.

But I recently became aware that I speak something that’s not my native language, and no, I don’t mean English. English too, of course, but also… I do not speak female.
I became aware of this due to a commenter on my blog, who is a woman but also apparently doesn’t speak female too well, told of a situation she’d run into that illuminated all my difficulties in female-dominated environments.
It also explains a lot of other things, such as why women think they’re discriminated against in work environments, that civilization is a tool of the patriarchy and that everyone – including females who don’t speak fluent female – are out to get them.
The anecdote my commenter told, stripped of identifiers to protect the guilty went as follows:
Commenter, engaged in some task for which she’d been given a newbie as a helper, got approached by one of her superiors. “If you could spare Newbie and don’t mind,” the superior said. “She’d be really helpful folding the shipments.”
Since Commenter couldn’t spare Newbie and still get her task accomplished, she said, “I can’t spare Newbie.”
Superior went away obviously fuming, much to Commenter’s confusion. For two days, tension prevailed, and then Commenter asked why Superior was being cold and distant. At which point she was treated to a rant about how Superior should have fired her or disciplined her for refusing to obey an order.
Deep breath.
I keep running into this

Actor Chris Evans — known best as the red, white, and blue-clad Marvel Comics superhero Captain America — is set to take on another kind of enemy: toxic masculinity.
The Avengers: Infinity War star is making his Broadway debut as Bill, a narcissistic chauvinist NYPD officer in Kenneth Lonergan’s play Lobby Hero. According to the play’s director, Trip Cullman, Evans’ role as Bill, who uses his position of power to sexually coerce his partner Dawn, will “expose toxic masculinity.”
