Joseph Of Jackson Revisited

Many years ago, on the Sunshine Mary blog, the Commenter Joseph of Jackson told his story.  He had joined a church, but the young ladies of the church were not much interested in the young men (including Joseph) cohort that was there.  There was a need for a volunteer for the young men’s group, so Joseph volunteered.  Shortly thereafter, he attended a week-long game training session.  With this knowledge, he coached the young men of his church group as to the techniques.  The young men were surprised that they worked; with them suddenly successful with the young ladies of the church.  Note that these men wore not using these techniques to bed the women, but to gain and keep their interest.

The next thing you know the church elders had become tuned into this.  In particular, the older women took an especially dim view of the proceedings.  Apparently they browbeat the men elders into expelling Joe and his fellas from the church.  As I recall, the men were joining a new church, so it all ended well.

The question is: why did the older ladies take such a dark view of this?  There are several possible explanations:

I.  Perhaps they were just jealous of the younger women getting some action.

II. Perhaps they are “policing the hierarchy”. They don’t want ordinary men to know, because knowledge is power. They would prefer that only elite men know these things and preferably that they know them intuitively. If every clueless guy is told the truth, it means that a man has been helped, who in the eyes of many women does not deserve to know. Women just expect men to know without being told.”

III. Perhaps they were embarrassed by how easily women could be attracted through just a change of behavior.

IV. Perhaps they did not like losing influence over the young women.

V.  Perhaps they hated their marriage and hated men in general after living a life of Feminist BS.

So tell me, what might have been these older women’s problems?

Women’s fallen sinful nature is to seek control over men. This situation just irritates this basic nature. So it could be any, or all, of these reasons.
It’s too bad Jackson was shut down, because Christian men stepping up their game would do a lot for the Kingdom of God. –> This church is converged with feminism, as usual.

I can remember this as if it were yesterday. What Joseph of Jackson did was give the young men enough confidence so that they could engage with the church girls socially. That is the big stumbling block for church boys. The girls won’t even talk to them.
Joseph said that he would update us when there was progress at the new church. The report never came. I fear the worst.
As for the church ladies motivation, it might be one or two things. First, They got alarmed when they researched “Game”. Women are afraid that men will discover the secret to persuading them into sex. I don’t think there is any secret to be learned. Second, they are past menopause and have cut their husbands off. They would like to see celibacy universal, in spite of a vague wish for grandkids.

The part that gets to me is that Joseph of Jackson gave the kids enough so that that Jack could talk Jill into going down to Mel’s Drive In and splitting a malted milk shake. What is the harm in that? Now, the situation has reverted to where it was before. The girls aren’t even talking to the boys. You can tell the church ladies that they can forget about grandkids and they had a hand in it.

Parallel to this, I am reminded of an Ukrainian-American vlogger who was baffled by the attitude of American housewives to sex. She asked a fellow Ukrainian, “Don’t American women want to have sex with their husbands?” She know what Ukrainian men would do should this happen to them. They take their business elsewhere. As for American men, they are all the more reluctant to marry.

I’d agree with Wayne…whenever you ask the question as to the root of wimminz problems, it’s always about control. Especially control over men. Women can either have control or men but they can’t have both.

Also I’m not sure if those older women were childless…but it could also be their evil stepmother traits coming out.

  16. Wayne says:

“Don’t American women want to have sex with their husbands?”

This begs a group of questions yet to be entertained on the Manosphere:
    (1) Why does validational sex automatically transform into transactional sex once women enter into marriage?
    (2) Why would anyone get married if they know this is bound to happen?
    (3) Why can’t it be the other way around? (i.e. marital sex is validational sex)
If we came up with some good answers to these questions, it might have the potential to transform the whole SMP ontology.

  17. fuzziewuzziebear says:

Question One is for the women. Question Two is for the guys. Question Three is again for the women, as all sex is validational for men.
It occurs to me that this whole mess is female driven. That men have to adapt to something that women broke is getting a little goofy.

) Why does validational sex automatically transform into transactional sex once women enter into marriage?
marriage turns a man into a beta. She knows how low value she actually is ( all women are low value) so the fact you will settle for her means you are even lower in value then her

Why would anyone get married if they know this is bound to happen?
Can’t answer that. Maarraige is just about the dumbest legal decision a man can make and men should absolutely avoid it.

Why can’t it be the other way around? (i.e. marital sex is validational sex)
See point one above. A man so lowly and needy as to settle for her worthless self is to low in smp value for the sex to be validational sex.

  20. SFC Ton says:

Back in the early 1990s, the average American had sex about 60 to 62 times per year, but that number dropped to less than 53 times per year by 2014. Among married couples specifically, the drop was even more dramatic – from about 73 times per year in 1990 to 55 in 2014. This actually brings the sex lives of married couples below people who’ve never been married, who have sex about 59 times per year as of 2014.

Personally my experience says marraige is 0 sex for 5 years so maybe 55 times a year ain’t so bad?

  24. Oh, geez…

A U.S. Senate candidate in Michigan has proposed a plan to arm homeless people with shotguns in a bid to reduce crime.

Brian Ellison, a Libertarian candidate who is expected to be the party’s candidate in the upcoming midterm elections, said homeless people are often at risk of becoming victims of violent crime and one way to prevent that is by providing them with firearms.

Speaking about his shotguns-for-the-homeless plan, he told the paper that he and his team would try to “pre-qualify” homeless people to determine whether they are suitable for owning a lethal weapon.

Those homeless people who do not wish to have a shotgun would not be forced to carry one, the candidate said.

“The first thing that we’re gonna do is ask them if they think this is something that would benefit them,” he said. “We’re certainly not trying to force anything on anybody.”

Under the proposal, the new shotgun owners would also receive ammunition, but as long as they use it to defend themselves rather than “shooting cans in somebody’s private property.”

Ellison dismissed any criticism that giving shotguns to people at risk might be dangerous.

  25. Why does validational sex automatically transform into transactional sex once women enter into marriage?

Does it? Or was the sex always transactional? Luring a beta into the marriage trap is gonna cost her some sexual currency, which she views as an investment in gaining legal access to his wallet. Sex with alphas is validational.

I meant that statement to be facetious. Still, there is a grain of truth in it. American wives are pretty adept at denying their husbands. Too bad for them that they can’t deny others.
The more examples cited, the shakier the ground is for the alpha-beta theory. It is beginning to look like we are all beta.
Finally, if Ton said that grass is green and the sky is blue, I would look out the window.

  27. earl says:

  29. SFC Ton says:

Any women with a slit between her legs can tell between alpha and beta (minus the asexual ones which are to few in number to factor into). Even a goodly number of lesbians will switch teams for a round of masculine cock.

IN all seriousness, and in this particular church/religious context, it’s primarily about

    –policing the male hierarchy

–preserving the illusion of woman as paragon of sweetness, goodness, virginity, purity, morality, nobility, and “virtue”. Asshole bad boys don’t turn women on; and even if they do, they don’t turn on THESE women HERE AT THIS CHURCH. These women are special. These women are not like other women. These women are sexually attracted to nice, kind, good, unassuming, friendly, sexually passive men.

–shaming men’s sex drives and natural sexuality. “Good, noble, upright men do not act like skirtchasers. We’re running a church here, not a nightclub. We’re not here to get men dates or girlfriends. We’re here to minister to them and administer the sacraments and rituals of the church, and to tend to and build up the faithful.”

Then those guys actually try to do things to date those women and actually have some success at it, and the church ladies and their pussywhipped husbands lose their minds.

Can’t win for losing. “You Peter Pan manboys need to grow up and date and marry these sweet, young, kind paragons of goodness and virtue!”

Ok the whole two income family argument.
From the numbers in this article

Assume mortgage, groceries, etc. are a wash.

Taking only childcare costs and a second vehicle into account.
Daycare for an infant and a child under 5 according to the afticle is 2100 in Ottawa, 2600 in Vancouver and 3100 in Toronto a month. Take the middle, 2600.
Plus Jd Power in the fine print puts a car payment at 300 a month. Lets forget gas, work clothes etc.

2900 a month versus staying home. After tax. Thats 34800 a year. At that rate its 15% federal and 5% Ontario income tax for 41700 a year. Plus if they were not working the other spouse could take their basic deduction of 11000 a year that is non taxed. Brings the total to 52000 a year.

So the break even between working and staying home until the kids are in kindergarten is 51000 a year. Just subtract it right of the second parents wages.

They make 60000 a year as a nurse, manager, junior engineer??
Ah no…they really make 9000 a year or 750 a month over being a full time caregiver.

So the next time the government says what a great deal it is to get both spouses working…..
    Do the math!!

Examining my own experience as a divorced man in the deep end of the dating pool, I believe I have experienced far more transactional sex than I did in 20 years of marriage. (Contra the prior observations.) That’s because, in retrospect, I do believe that I was being hustled by a few women who wanted to lock down a man in state-controlled marriage, as much as they may have wanted to lock down *me* for my innate “older bloke” qualities.

But my wife and I married because we were in love and had the hots for each other. We may have had sex a couple of times when she didn’t climax, but I don’t think so, and we met in college when we really knew nothing about sex and pretty much stayed on that plane. So truthfully, I don’t think she practiced transaction sex once with me, though we had a long drought (six months) before her dropping the divorce MOAB. The divorce had nothing to do with our sex life, and she wanted to bang the night she pulled the plug, and I think it would take one hour, 1.5 glasses of wine, and a little hinting around at how much I have learned since our divorce — to get her into my hotel room.

One of the women on Ton’s blog wrote that she knew of women who schemed to get men married by indulging in exotic sexual practices to fool them into thinking that’s would be their lifestyle post-marriage. What was insipid about the remark was she was speaking of oral sex — her idea of nonstandard, exotic sexual behavior. And … NEXT.

Anyhow, I don’t think it’s very hard to tell if a woman is responding to you as a man, or if she’s just throwing sexual dog biscuits at a you to get you to take her to the Caymans for a destination wedding, or some such B.S. But if you’ve been married and true for a long time, you won’t be calibrated properly, so best not to get re-hitched to the first exciting thing who shows up.

I don’t believe Ton’s reference to average marriages sustaining sexual relations of 55x/year. (I believe Ton, or course, I don’t believe the self-reported stat.) A) It’s self-reported, so people are going to say something that makes them look better; B) I’d say about 10 percent of my married friends over the age of 30 are getting some more than once a week, and many are getting it once a month — if at all.

I do think there is a third form of conjugal activity, which I call Duty Sex. I have a friend who married for “security” (money), and does love her husband in a way, because he is steady, conscientious, generous. He would be all of that if she ignored him sexually, so there’s no implied transaction. He’s also truly incompetent and Low-T in the sack. But she says she crawls in there (with a handy battery-driven aid) from time to time, because she does believe it is her duty to honor his commitment to her. I think men and women, both, can be called upon to practice duty sex, though it’s a bit harder for men because most of us lack the ability to fake enthusiasm.

The McCabe firing is shocking, and unique in my lifetime. (I provided CTI software to the FBI and my largest shareholder is a former Atty Gen, so I’m familiar with the culture.) I think there will be another action alongside the first IG report: McCabe is going to sing. Word is he threatened to bring everyone down if they terminated him and cancelled his pension. If he couldn’t bargain his way out of the jam, he’ll have to make up the financial loss with a book deal that will impugn and indict his cohorts.

BV “he threatened to bring everyone down”.

If he carries out that threat, and/or if the OPR continues to expose damning evidence, and/or if the so-called Fourth Estate serves its so-called purpose, the draining could begin.

The problem is that it’s hard to expose corruption when the media can ignore it. And then there’s the problem of distraction, as happened to Kenneth Starr in the 1990s. He should have concentrated on Whitewater and Hillary’s downright crookedness but was distracted by Bill’s sleaziness. This distraction worked so well for the Clintons, it’s almost as if they orchestrated it. AG Sessions at times has appeared to come up with some fairly major attempts to distract, either to protect his own hide or the DOJ.

I thought that it was interesting that in his screed about being victimized, McCabe did not proclaim his innocence. Just that he is the subject of a vindictive, political witch hunt.

Apparently,he is fully vested in their pension plan so reports about his forfeiting it are overblown. Even if he is convicted of a felony, law and precedent allow his wife to claim 50% of the total. Perhaps he loses credit for this year, but evidently he can recover even that by going to work for a few days for a friendly Congressman.

‘Nobody knows what utter hell it is to be Prince of Wales,’ Charles said in November 2004. His idea of hell, it must be said, is unlikely to be shared by most of his future subjects.

Take, for example, accounts of what it is like to have Prince Charles come to stay for the weekend.

Before a visit to one friend in North-East England, he sent his staff ahead a day early with a truck carrying furniture to replace the perfectly appropriate fittings in the guest rooms.

And not just the odd chest of drawers: the truck contained nothing less than Charles and Camilla’s complete bedrooms, including the Prince’s orthopaedic bed, along with his own linen.

His staff had also made sure to pack a small radio, Charles’s own lavatory seat, rolls of Kleenex Premium Comfort lavatory paper, Laphroaig whisky and bottled water (for both bedrooms), plus two landscapes of the Scottish Highlands.

Duty sex could really be redefined as ‘renewing the marital vows’. That’s really what the marital act is. You both vowed commitment to each other for life in front of God (or the state…shudder) through ups and downs…and that’s part of the deal.

So I would say a wife who is more than willing to have ‘duty sex’ for the reasons BV described is certainly much more loving to her husband (and the type of wife I’d want) than one who holds out for whatever emotional feelz reason she justifies it for. The minute she starts holding out is when Satan chips away at that marriage. It doesn’t surprise me before a divorce if there was a long period of her holding out…either because she was unhaaaaaaaaaaaaapy or getting it somewhere else.

It also wouldn’t surprise me that some women use pre-maritals to trap men into commitment. That’s a Venus fly trap if I ever saw one. If she has sex regularly without the vow…she’d might have unvowed sex with guys again when she is vowed.

Remember when Comey gave every reason under the sun why Hillary should be prosecuted and then said she wouldn’t be? It turns out that McCabe dropped the FBI investigation into Hillary after his wife received $700000 from a Hillary associate. That’s when McCabe started to head down hill (pun intended). Get cosey with old Hill and her stink will rub off on you.

  123. BV says:

The explanation for Hillary’s non-indictment (“she didn’t mean to put state secrets on an amateur-hour server in her home bathroom in NY”) was drafted by a badly-compromised Comey subordinate (Strzok) three months before they interviewed Clinton to ascertain how state secrets wound up on her server at home. Evidently they read her mind and saved everyone time by transcribing her remarks in advance.

My concern is that too many Americans are not paying attention to how bad this is. Trump abets this by being all-drama, all the time. After a bit, no matter how pleased one is with the hires and the policy achievements, one just gets tired of the drama, rhetoric, yakking.

Establishment Republicans, in my view, are pleased that Trump’s man lost a special election in Pennsylvania this week. They want control of things back, and their natural state is being polite losers. The PA-18 (south of Pittsburgh) election was “lost” by 600 votes. Republicans conceded within 24 hours. The other guys would never have conceded, and gone on to find 700 votes in someone’s automobile trunk. (This is how Al Franken got elected Senator from Minnesota.) An old friend ran the election-integrity, poll-monitoring operation in this election, and she told me that she was instructed to stand down by the client, the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Republicans are trained to lose, and claim superior virtue for losing with civility.

On the road to utopia San Francisco is

November of 2017 alone, 6,211 needles were collected while via the 311 App (the “concerned citizen” reporting app set up by recently deceased San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee), 1,498 requests were made to clean up human feces. The public defecation problem has become so intolerable in San Francisco that private citizens have built an online map to track the concentrations of poop in the city, so that pedestrians may know to avoid certain areas.

And it’s not just poop. The overwhelming smell of urine on parts of Mission Street and Market Street would make your nose bleed. I recall the first time I rode BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit, San Francisco’s subway system) and was nearly knocked over by the sheer stench of the station. I was surprised to learn that exiting the station supplied little to no relief — the urine smell hangs heavy in the more populated areas of the city and is nearly inescapable. In a dark twist of humor, the city has had to replace numerous different street poles due to urine eroding the foundation.
