SOTU — What Men Want

This is the fourth installment of the the State Of The Unions (SOTU) series.  Previously The Ton commented,

Often under appreciated by the cucks, feminist, save the West types is round about age 24 or so, the high maintenance bitch alarm becomes a stronger and stronger force among single men. By 40 or so most men want a bitch who is a little better then ok looking, who wont make his life more complcated with her bulshit, who wont drag him out to do dumb shit twice a week, who won’t spend his money on her bullshit, who cleans up well for work events, and who will enthusiastically suck his cock every other day.

The other side make this mistake because they don’t grasp how quickly men get over the dumb shit women do and celebrate. Now let’s add how most women basically want the same 20-30% of men and that low maintenance bitch factor becomes an even bigger deal sense if the guy is good at pulling ass he doesn’t have any real reason to stay with a chick beyond the 12-18 month mark( casual observation tells me a woman’s A game girl game p last about 12 months. Around about then the mask begins to slip and you start seeing the real her etc and then it’s a 2-4 month ltr decline before she starts deliberately destroying the relationship. Which she does so she can play the victim post break up)

Girls just make their marriage prospects worse by not landing a man by 20-22

My sainted, uneducated hillbilly grandma use to say a man had to be married up before he got a truck, a dog and a honey hole fishing spot. Which was her way of saying men are low maintenance and natural born MGTOW

The fellas are typically much more easy to please than the womenfolk.  Normally they are interested in

I   Sex

II. Pleasant

III. Domestic

IV. Low Maintenance

V. OK or better appearance

VI. Thrifty

Men might want more, but they are often not holdouts like women with their hypergamy are.

But still, modern women manage to f’ it up.  Men are predisposed to like women — women work hard to dispel them of this notion. Men might think that having a women could be useful — women work hard to dispel them of this notion.

Probably there are many more fellas today with a truck, a dog and a honey fishing spot than in the olden days.  Women realize not what they have done.

I used to think that finding out what women want and providing it to them would win them over. Accommodating them doesn’t work. It is either “I zigged when I should have zagged” or faulted in some way that could not be determined beforehand.
Today, I saw this. A lot of the discussion is how women can’t compete with dolls. That is pretty sad. As TFM puts it, “It is like losing out to a mannequin on a job offer. Runs eighteen minutes.

Women are being encouraged (or forced by feminists) to live emotionally and spiritually damaged lives. Many are still good looking but it’s not the looks that are the problem…it’s the message they are sending.

I would lean more to “encouraged”. That is one of the advantages that feminism has, it is selling to a herd mentality.

    ‘Deadbeat single mothers.’

‘Single motherhood which used to be a source of shame has instead been transformed over the last few decades until it has become an endowment of virtue. Single mothers are presented as victims and simultaneously as being strong and courageous. The real victims of course are the unfortunate children of such selfish acts. But that does not matter if you are a woman and easily seduced by the instant victim credentials that being a single mother gets you.’

‘So let me go one step further….and present a fact that the feelgood brigade will most certainly not find acceptable; single mothers are just as deadbeat as absent fathers, if not more. Any woman who chooses to bring a child into the world without the stabilizing influence of the father as a constant in the child’s life is a deadbeat herself. And the only guarantee of constant fatherhood is wedlock.’

For decades now, boys have been blasted with mixed signals that have left many feeling lost and confused. If boys are broken, it’s because of the Left’s narrative of ignoring real masculinity for whatever they want to call their perverted version of masculinity. Femininity will never feel right.

The only guarantee of wedlock is the power that it gives women over men.

  12. earl says:

He was speaking about the father’s role in the child’s life being constant is wedlock. The article was more about how the child suffers in the single mother family.

The things that women get power over men in marriage…are only state or husband provided. And the state stuff is not really for wedlock…but to divorce the marriage.

Long story short the selfishness of mostly women either by getting impregnated outside of wedlock or instigating a divorce damages their children in ways they can’t comprehend.

If those cops get hammered, then we’ll know they didn’t follow the departments SOP’s. If they don’t get hammered then they were following orders/ SOP’s. Which means the problems are department wide

Married guys have long known that marriage was the end of TGE (which is how they got bamboozled into marriage), but now only alphas get a taste. It’s just a legend to all other guys.

“Studies show women report more incivility experiences overall than men, but we wanted to find out who was targeting women with rude remarks,” says Allison Gabriel, assistant professor of management and organizations in the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management.

Probing three different studies, Gabriel and her team looked into how men and women reported their experiences at work, specifically on questions about who made the most condescending or derogatory remarks on top of passive-aggressive behavior such as ignoring them in a meeting or addressing them unprofessionally. It turns out women co-workers didn’t fare so well.

But many proponents of the wage gap don’t accept any of the rather obvious refutations. Instead, this is said to be “blaming women’s choices.” But it’s actually a good thing that women are free to choose whether or not their highest priority in life is to earn the absolute highest possible wage, or whether other quality of life concerns take precedence.

If women tend, when given a free choice, to accept a lower wage in return for greater flexibility in their schedule, more life satisfaction in the work they do, or perhaps even for a job they’re less likely to get killed in the course of doing, is that really a bad thing? Money isn’t everything, after all. Perhaps the only real problem is that more men aren’t freely following their example.

In easy to understand terms, the handbook reveals and explains the fundamental dynamics between allegations, the media, and authority as they relate to male misconduct in today’s society. It also unveils and details practical real-world methods for leveraging allegations, media, and authorities to dethrone a man from power.

I would love to have the stats on “women who are woke.” My guess is that the majority of them are single, divorced or in a bad relationship with a man, or had a bad one in the past with Dad or some other male authority figure. I wonder how many of these women are using political causes as avenues for their anger or frustration and to get revenge for the bad male relationships in their lives. Instead of taking any responsibility or realizing that all men are not the enemy, these “woke” women use the government to do their dirty work and don’t care how many innocent men they hurt along the way.

If a man gets fired after being accused falsely of sexual harassment, no worries, he was probably guilty anyway. Guy at college can’t get his degree because his date accused him of sexual abuse without proof and of course he had no due process rights? No sweat — somewhere out there, a “woke” woman is smiling. A man like Aziz Ansari had a bad date and is humiliated as a result? He’s just another statistic in a long line of men being victimized by “woke” women.

If you are male and on a date with a woman who says she is “woke,” tell her you are hitting the john and make a beeline for the bathroom window — or you could become her next revenge fantasy, and not in a good way

Tired of listening to Brussels’ broken record, chief U.K. Brexit negotiator David Davis has toured European capitals to build support. Or sympathy, at least. That has angered the EU’s chief negotiator Michel Barnier, which is dangerous given his influence over the process for gaining approval for any deal from the European Council of government heads (20 out of 27 EU states, representing at least 65 of the bloc’s population, will eventually need to approve them). In a way, the draft published on Wednesday is his response to what he sees as the U.K.’s government’s shirking of meaningful negotiation. It’s basically a translation into legalese of the December deal — but a translation that sharpens certain angles that could be smoothed over in an informal document. And it aims to point out to the U.K. that there’s unfinished business from the previous phase of the talks that could scupper any trade agreement.

In a bipartisan 388 to 25 vote, the House of Representatives approved legislation on Tuesday to make it easier for states to prosecute websites that facilitate prostitution and sex trafficking—including trafficking of underage girls. But critics say that the legislation, known as the Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (FOSTA), could undermine a key legal protection for free speech online.

The House bill modifies Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act, which provides website operators with broad immunity for hosting third-party content. Digital rights groups argue that Section 230 made today’s innovative and free-wheeling Internet possible because sites don’t have to worry about getting sued if their users post content that violates the law.

Very few details are known about the second installment of the movie, although we do know Gal Gadot will return as “Wonder Woman” and the film will likely be set during the 1980s Cold War era.

  66. Farm Boy says:

Sadly, I found what I had reluctantly been looking for. It turns out that people concerned about men—and to me that always means boys too—were not directly lumped in with the alt-right; but they were in the same section of the report, which was titled “Hate Groups and Idealogues.” The report says of Men’s Rights advocates (MRAs) that “their central belief is that men and boys in the Western world are at risk or marginalized, and in need of defense. Most Men’s Rights Activists try to gain recognition for this cause and campaign for Men’s Rights in areas such as family law, parenting, reproduction, compulsory military service, and education.”

Perhaps one’s immediate reaction to this might be, What? Men and boys needing defense? But on closer examination, in many areas, this makes a lot of sense. Take just a couple that is mentioned on the list: education and parenting. Anyone who has looked at the data over the past 25 years knows that boys and young men are falling further and further behind girls and young women in education, who sharply outnumber them in colleges and are now ahead of them in graduate school enrollments as well. This is a particularly big problem in the black community, where two-thirds of African-American college undergraduates are female. Across races and ethnicities, women make up 57% of college enrollment.

    Spawny Get,
It is funny, but I can see Orthodox Jews taking offense. They probably don’t want to be associated with Justin.
I don’t know what to tell you to relieve the dread you’re feeling about Theresa May and Brexit.

    Spawny Get,
When I hit “refresh”, I saw the line about “period drama” and hoped you had found an unknown historical epic. There is an upside to this. It will become so expensive to employ women that people will be reluctant to hire. Even if it is only one day a month, that is against the 21.4 working days. That is almost a five percent premium. Triple that if it is three days per the Italian proposal. Oh, and a lunar month is only twenty eight days.

I just got through the Louder with Crowder link. It seems to me that feminism is an easy sell to young women and by the time they find out that it is not a path to female social dominance, they have hit the wall.

The second is the concept of “toxic masculinity,” the current bugbear of the female social-justice warriors whose brand of “feminism” is essentially misandry writ large. It’s an appalling combination of fear, ignorance, misapplied compassion, prescription drugs, and social mores—and a clear and present danger to American society that we must sort out, fast.

Don’t kid yourselves: by “toxic masculinity,” the latter-day incarnations of the Greek Furies and the Thracian women mean simply, “maleness.” Like all cultural Marxists, the modern feminists have applied the tenets of Critical Theory to the War Between the (Two) Sexes, and have found the male sex wanting in every particular, the force behind every social ill they perceive. Men are responsible for all that afflicts them: their workplace environment, their chances in the dating pool, their economic fortunes; thanks to their uncontrollable concupiscence, men even burden them with children. Every masculine trait, therefore, must be ameliorated by medication or surgery, such as rambunctiousness in young boys; every sign of virility, including strength, courage, and the martial spirit must be stamped out in order to “protect” women. That such a social policy would also mean the end of inventions, infrastructure, heavy lifting, rockets to the moon, and the Golden Gate Bridge never seems to occur to them: men are guilty, and therefore must be made to suffer. Maleness to them is a birth defect.

Evergreen State College’s student newspaper printed a hardcore pornography spread in the paper earlier this month.
The Cooper Point Journal, the student newspaper at the public Evergreen State College, published a spread of hardcore porn images in the February 7th edition of the paper. The spread came as a part of the paper’s Arts & Culture section and was produced by student artist Bailey Coates, who uses “they/their” pronouns.

    Spawny Get,
There is something absent from her and, in time, it may prove critical. I think that women take something from men that is metaphysical that keeps a “path to ground” for them. It’s not healthy for women to live alone.
