Why

Over at RPG’s, Deti writes,

Why did women insist on adopting hookup culture?

You know why.

Because women wanted to have the freedom to make their own money so they didn’t have to marry icky betas.

Because women wanted to have sexual freedom so they could have lots of hot sexy fun with hot sexy men without having to be married.

Because less attractive women wanted to have some hot sexy fun with hot sexy men.

Because less attractive women wanted a shot at locking down a hot sexy man after having hot sexy fun with him.

Because women thought all men everywhere, even average milquetoast betas) were having lots of sex with women, and women said “that’s not fair that they get to have all that fun sex and we don’t”.

Why?

Because it’s fun and it feels good, and they wanted fairness.

Let us consider these points rationally.

Because women wanted to have the freedom to make their own money so they didn’t have to marry icky betas.  By make their own money, that includes affirmative action and government dole.  And yes, it does give women much more freedom.  The icky betas demanded stuff like them being faithful, resourceful and pleasant. This takes real work and doesn’t lead to tingles.  So what did women use their newfound freedom to do?   To seek tingles.  Any arguments?

Because women wanted to have sexual freedom so they could have lots of hot sexy fun with hot sexy men without having to be married.  Evidence does point toward this being true.  Women put off marriage and ride some version of the carousel.  But this is perhaps more than about sex with hot sexy men.  It is about the validation that they get irrespective of sleeping with hot sexy men.  Guys chasing you, looking your way, hitting on you; what is not to like?  It is a buffet to pig out on without getting fat.  Seeking attention is a natural built-in thing for women to do.  Little girls do this; bigger girls also, and young women do it as if on steroids.

Because less attractive women wanted to have some hot sexy fun with hot sexy men.  A fella might consider this and wonder if it would be that important.  He might say, “Sure I would like a super-model, but better than average is good enough for me”.  To quote the Ton, “Women want alpha cock more then the most of man could understand or more then the most of men ever wanted a woman himself.”  This explains why the original assertion is true.  So fellas, don’t project your desires onto the women.

Because less attractive women wanted a shot at locking down a hot sexy man after having hot sexy fun with him.  The locking down is probably not going to happen, but it is the stuff that fairy tales (and romance novels) are made of.  Women love fairy tales; with this being their chance to live it.  Furthermore, if a women meets a minimum standard the hot sexy fella will sleep with her.  The first part of the fairy tale is there for the taking.  “It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.”

Because women thought all men everywhere, even average milquetoast betas) were having lots of sex with women, and women said “that’s not fair that they get to have all that fun sex and we don’t”.  Perhaps the women never noticed that the rumors and stories that they heard always had the same fellas sleeping around.  Since these were the only fellas that they noticed, from their point of view all of the guys were sleeping around.  Besides, why spend the mental energy to look into a situation deeper when you have tingles awaiting?

Because it’s fun and it feels good, and they wanted fairness.  Yes, indeed.  But what of the cost?

Deti wrote that in response to my rhetorical question. The question came up as an example came up of how everyone was better off under dating culture. Still, it is good to see it laid out. What Deti failed to mention about hookup culture is that it is anonymous and secret. That feeds the feminine need for deniability.
Make work jobs and welfare so that they don’t have to marry betas. True, Women can get by on their own bootstraps. How long it will last is anyone’s guess. Men in the workforce have to be tired of carrying them, directly or indirectly.
Were betas all that icky? I don’t think so. This may be a notion reinforced by the entertainment industry. Still, if women see it that way, it may as well be reality. The problem for women is that there are not enough top tier men to go around and there never will be. They are chasing rainbows.
They want to have hot sex with hawt guys? That would be a given. In the past there were concerns about pregnancy and STDs. The concerns about STDs are returning with a vengeance. Illicit sex is attractive because it is forbidden too. That sounds like a plus.
Because less attractive women want to lock down a hot sexy man after having hot sexy fun with him? Farm Boy does keep reminding us that girls do have trouble with math. There aren’t enough of these guys to go around, and they will never understand that.
Women thought that all men were having lots of sex all the time? They could have asked. We would have told them the truth. Only a few guys get to do this and not for very long.
“Because it is fun and it feels good, and they wanted fairness.” What they ended up doing is turning themselves into something boys couldn’t introduce to their mothers. Once they go there, there is little chance of going back.

    People,
Do you think that Eve took a second bite of the apple when women adopted hookup culture?

College administrators absolutely HATE men. We all know this. Almost every college has at least one initiative geared towards mocking men for their “fragile masculinity,” denigrating so-called “toxic masculinity,” or treating men as if they’re all potential rapists, in need of remedial feminist education on how to respect women.

Princeton University, for example, is hiring a “Men’s Engagement Manager” to fight against “toxic masculinity.” Ithaca College, meanwhile, has sponsored lectures on “masculinity and violence,” and Duke University has an ongoing “Men’s Project” designed to teach men how to “begin the work of unlearning violence.”

Those are just a few of the dozens of initiatives colleges host to fight masculinity, many of which are essentially “masculinity re-education camps,” recruiting men into secretive clubs to confess their sins, sacrifice their soul to the feminist gods, and vow never to be chivalrous or tough again.

An anti-Communist protest planned for tomorrow in Berkeley has also been scrubbed.

The reason for the cancellation of both rallies is the threat of radical leftist violence. And in both cases, the police could not be trusted to ensure the safety of rally participants.

@fuzzie: “A lot of speculation that Silicon Valley corporations may have more power than the government.”

Yesterday (Saturday), in the greater Los Angeles area, my wife went to lunch today in Glendale with two friends. She came home through Burbank to the San Fernando Valley on surface streets because she had several shopping stops she wanted to make. Before starting home she asked Siri (iPhone) for directions to Hobby Lobby (she’s been there many times but wasn’t certain of how to get there from where she was in Glendale). Back came Siri: “those directions are not available.” She knew that this Hobby Lobby shared a parking lot with a Burger King. So she asked Siri for directions to Burger King. Those directions were promptly served up.

She told me of this when she arrived home. With the recent Google fiasco fresh in my mind I suggested that she try again from home. Back came Siri with the same response “those directions are not available”. She again asked Siri for directions to Burger King. Those directions where promptly served up.

Imagine that you have a business and Google and Facebook and whoever else decide at the corporate level that they don’t like you – so they reply “those directions are not available” to everyone who searches for your location. That could get pretty expensive for those boycotted businesses. Hobby Lobby won a court case that the left did not agree with. I find it highly suspicious that the directions to the Burger King that shares a parking lot with Hobby Lobby are available, while directions to a store a few yards away are not available.

File this along with googling on “American Inventors” and whatever else is currently making the rounds – who search returns display misleading results.

More power than the government, indeed.

It’s easy to get banned on facebook… I’ve had it happen from just posting things that go against the narrative. Any one group can gang up and easily get you shut down. It took threatening facebook with my husband’s lawyer group and they instantly reinstalled my facebook the next day… but I’ve read many accounts of people who never got their account back after some liberal reported them for “thought crimes” or “hate speech.”

When we signed up for Facebook accounts all those years ago, did we ever think we would be considered old fogies for using the platform? Maybe that point of view is a bit extreme, but a recent Techcrunch article shows that Facebook usage is slipping among younger generations. As it turns out, teenagers instead prefer Snapchat and Instagram, which offer a more visual way to communicate — something that is favored by the 12-17 crowd.

Ignoring for the moment what the Mark of the Beast actually is – the message in the Bible is that there will come a time when those who stand for Christ and what he represents will not be able to participate in the regular economy.

Can be accomplished with ease in the not-to-distant future: move to a cashless economy; every transaction a digital one. Then simply deny access to the digital network to whomever you wish to deny access to. Kind of like asking Siri for directions to Hobby Lobby (from my comment above) and being told such directions are not available.
