Oops, I Didn’t Think It Through

Recently, Cill wrote,

It was white women who started it all off, with their feminism and doctrine of The Patriarchy. But as more groups avidly leapt onto the victim bandwagon, white women, by virtue of their being the same race as The Patriarchy, found themselves more and more on the outer. Their response was to stay in step with the mob by denouncing straight white males with an increasingly desperate shrillness. In doing so, they inevitably encouraged hatred not only of the straight white male, but of whiteness itself. White women are hoist by their own petard. They, the inventors of feminism, are the world’s number one inciters of racism and sexism.

It is important to try to be highest on the victim pecking order.  White women are very unhappy that they are not.  The best evidence of the current pecking order was when in 2008, the US mainstream media (MSM) decided that Black trumps White Woman (note that Trump trumps White Woman also, at least with respect to the voters).  It must have been a humiliating blow for women, to see the MSM during the primary season give Obama the love that they thought he deserved, while attacking Hillary relentlessly.  Anyway, Black trumps White Women.

The attack on white men has not worked out so well.  White people have decided to become an interest group just like any other interest group.  The relentless attacks on them by  women have alienated lots of white women, who have decided to throw their allegiance with their race, rather than their gender.  This was evident in the yuge white women vote for Trump.  This is the kind of thing that happens when one gets desperate and relentlessly traffics in lies.  I wonder what the Feminist’s next move is…

“When in doubt, scream and shout.” They have been doing a lot of that since November. What concerns me is that they will tie the government up in knots, rendering it completely ineffective.
However, they are making headway in removing due process for men in sexual crimes trials. worldwide. The attacks on white, straight, Christian men will continue. The hate is unabated.
As for the victory for Trump in America, that may be a local anomaly. Geert Wilders lost, Marine Le Pen lost, and Angela Merkel is ahead in the polls. Little is being addressed in the UK relative to feminism.

Yes she is. When she found out the terms of the agreement she was “Great! Fuck em! We get a 9 month paid vacation.” She was actually out some of her friends who dared to ask the question of leaving.

I have been bouncing around second careers and where that work would be. She literally said “Whatever you want to do and with the kids gone wherever you want to live thats fine with me.”

She thinks its great I am spending so much time outside or at the gym. Dropped 15 lbs in the month.

  5. Over at Dalrock’s a good post on 50+ divorce. aARP is buggling that it is an explosion when the data shows divorce rates per 1000 marriages plummets after 45.

Well the Wall for sure but the real reason…….

    Little or no child support.
Even if the bride was 30, by 50, 55 tops the average 2 kids are 18 and no longer qualify for child support. And many jurisdictions have way lesser alimony (unless she was a 20 year SAHW, unlikely with empowered gogurls.)

So yes seperation of slightly bigger marriage assets. But the main source of monthly income to support the Divorcee in the City fabulous lifestyle…….NOT THERE.

I saw many of my former nurses all hitting 50 odd all worried about making ends meet as the CS ran out. You think they would bail after junior fledged?

    Oh and monkey branching? Please.
    Bitch you old and gravity!
Plus me and the boys been thru the wringer for us to be single at 50 so we aint stupid.

Besides there is a new game in town for you to contend with….SugarBabies.
If I gonna reup to pay a monthly stipend its gonna be a college girls tuition not yo old ass’s mortgage.

Here is Dalrock’s post. Lots of charty goodness.
In past articles, he has brought the point home that without the likelihood of remarrying, women are unlikely to divorce. That translates to no monkeybranching, no divorce. His statistics continue to demonstrate this.

This is probably why the UK didn’t sign the anti-Trump EU letter over Paris

Documents obtained by Energydesk reveal UK government attempts to significantly weaken draft EU climate and energy rules, even as Brexit is underway.

Key renewable energy and energy efficiency targets proposed by the European Commission should be reduced, made non-binding, or even scrapped altogether, the UK said, despite the fact that they would not take effect until after the UK had left the EU.

So now, sexual regret is conflated with rape. The distinction between them lost, as this SJW attempts to redefine “rape” to be whatever she wants it to be. Perhaps if she orders a cheeseburger at McDonalds, and receives, instead, a hamburger without cheese, she was McRaped. But here’s the interesting thing, this word-bending relies upon us, that is to say non-SJWs, granting the same weight to the word “rape” that we would grant to an actual violent sexual assault. In other words, if a woman regrets having sex with a man, this man must be treated as if he attacked a woman and forcibly had sex with her.

Meet Mats Järlström, the man who was fined for doing math without a license.

As Reason reported earlier this year, Järlström’s wife was issued a citation in May 2013 after a red light camera in Beaverton, Oregon, caught her clearing an intersection a tenth of a second late. That small amount of time made Järlström—an electrical engineer by training—curious. He started researching traffic light timing in the city.

What he found suggested to him that there was a problem with the mathematical formula that Beaverton was using to time its yellow lights. He tried to bring his research to the city council but was repeatedly rebuffed. Next he brought it to the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying. Instead of investigating his claims, the board investigated Järlström. In 2016 the state fined him for daring to call himself an engineer. (Järlström had formal engineering training in his native Sweden and runs his own equipment calibration business, but he does not hold an Oregon engineering license.)

A lengthy (and ongoing) court battle ensued between Järlström, who believes he has a First Amendment right to promote his theory, and the Board of Engineering, which believes Järlström has the rights they say he does. Throughout this process, the board has used the threat of further fines to keep Järlström from publicly discussing his research. But on Tuesday, a federal judge granted an injunction against the board, preventing them from fining Järlström for talking while his court case grinds on.

    The Beginnings

“Mary Postgate” (A Diversity of Creatures)

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late
With long arrears to make good,
When the English began to hate.

    They were not easily moved,
    They were icy-willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the English began to hate.

Their voices were even and low,
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show,
When the English began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd,
It was not taught by the State.
    No man spoke it aloud,
When the English began to hate.

    It was not suddenly bred,
    It will not swiftly abate,
    Through the chill years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the English began to hate.

If you want to mouth off, in all seriousness, do it on your blog. Your other comments are still welcome here. I know where my interests lie and those of my nearest and dearest.

The Paris Agreement is substantively a joke. The widespread rage about President’s Trump’s withdrawal is, as many people have already noted, a case of mass virtue signaling. But the episode does reflect a larger problem for the Left.

The cycle goes something like this: Americans are marginally (or what some of us believe, appropriately) concerned about carbon emissions. For Malthusian progressives, and increasingly the rest of the Democratic Party, this won’t do. So they ratchet up the apocalyptic rhetoric in an effort to scare those people into embracing a slate of economic policies. The problem, of course, is that many people don’t like progressive economic policies. So liberals ratchet up the doom and gloom, to the point where they’re talking about this as an extinction-level event. Lots of people ignore these hysterics. Progressives then go from scaring to attempting to humiliate and bully those who won’t accept that progressive economic policies are tantamount to “science.” Half the country goes from being increasingly immune to becoming increasingly angry.

The media brag that they now more or less run the Democratic agenda. Univision’s Jorge Ramos (whose daughter worked for the Hillary Clinton campaign) recently thundered:

Our position, I think, has to be much more aggressive. And we should not expect the Democrats to do that job. It is our job. If we don’t question the president, if we don’t question his lies, if we don’t do it, who is going to do it? It’s an uncomfortable position.

In other words, Ramos confessed that the Democratic party apparently has neither new ideas nor a political agenda that would win over the public, and thus self-appointed journalistic grandees like him would have to step forward and lead the anti-Trump opposition as they shape the news.

Fellow panelist and CNN’s media correspondent Brian Stelter answered Ramos, “You’re almost saying we’re a stand-in for the Democrats.” Thereby, Stelter inadvertently confirmed Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon’s widely criticized but prescient assertion that the media are in fact “the opposition party” — and should be treated as such.

I remember Twiki with fondness. As for Teresa May, may I suggest that you hope for improvement rather than see her replaced. If she is replaced, who ever does it will likely be worse. Sorry, it’s that I see her as being worse than David Cameron. On the plus side, I think she has the confidence of our President who is hard judge of competence.
As for all the publicity surrounding this, I think media is try to saturate the public sensibilities. It reminds me of the Rodney King trial. They kept playing the tape during the trial until the jury couldn’t be impacted by it anymore and acquitted the cops who beat the the stuffing out of Rodney King.

The two most remarkable campaigns of 2016 — those of Trump and Bernie Sanders — were driven by different faces of populist resentment. Yet, increasingly, the Democrats’ populist pretensions conflict with their alliance with ascendant “sovereigns of cyberspace,” whose power and wealth have waxed to almost absurd heights. Other parts of their upscale coalition include the media, academia and the upper bureaucracy.

This affluent base can embrace the progressives’ social agenda — meeting the demands of feminists, gays and minority activists. But they are less enthusiastic about the social democratic income redistribution proposed by Bernie Sanders, who is now, by some measurements, the nation’s most popular political figure. This new putative ruling class, notes author Michael Lind, sees its rise, and the decline of the rest, not as a reflection of social inequity, but rather their meritocratic virtue. Only racism, homophobia or misogyny — in other words, the sins of the “deplorables” — matter.

The Washington Post, owned by Jeff Bezos, the world’s third-richest man, reflects this socially liberal, but oligopolistic, worldview. Last spring, Bezos worked assiduously to undermine Sanders’ campaign, then promoted Clinton, and now has become a leading voice in the anti-Trump “resistance.” The gentry wing of the party, which dominates fundraising and media, as the opposition to Sanders reveals, likes its money. The tech community is famously adept at avoiding taxes.

How long can this odd pairing of socialism and oligopoly persist? There are growing sentiments on the left to begin confiscating some of the massive wealth of the tech firms. Bank of America’s Michael Harnett recently warned that continued growth of stock market wealth in a handful of tech stocks “could ultimately lead to populist calls for redistribution of the increasingly concentrated wealth of Silicon Valley.”

I went to high school outside Portland, and I encountered more overt white supremacy there than anywhere else. Progressive politics and discrimination are not mutually exclusive. Many classmates who would have described themselves as progressive expressed white supremacist ideals, often in violent terms.

Those beatings might backfire because if I were on a jury judging some guy using the defence that he killed in self defence because he felt his life was in danger…not guilty. Somebody is going to die from beatings like that, it’s just a matter of time. Same with drivers running over thugs trying to stop them on the highway, seen videos of that.

These people have lost their frigging minds. Based Stickman got away with what he did due to violence like this.
