Series On Sluts — Part V — In The Open

Being a slut came with plausible deniability.  There was never any legal paper that actually suggested that you were as much. One could if one tried hard enough to deny what exactly you did in your younger days.  But the allure of cashing in for some is just too strong.   Hence we have,

Facing staggering debt, hundreds of Alberta post-secondary students are logging on to a website connecting them with “sugar daddies” who can provide them with a monthly allowance and gifts in exchange for negotiated relationships.

The first question is: where did this staggering debt come from?  Was it from living the high life while getting a grievance studies degree?  Students should consider higher education in terms of risk/rewards, cost/benefit, etc.  They should be there to get and education, to learn how to think better.  Often, it is just a big party.

Anyway, apparently women have an option for handling this that men do not.

But student advocates warn such arrangements can be fraught with peril, exposing them to potential exploitation or abuse with few avenues to disentangle themselves from a bad situation.

It is true that there might be some peril.  But all she has to do is call the Mounties, and she is in the free and clear.

“The really interesting thing is how the website is actively recruiting students from post-secondary schools, knowing many will unlikely be able to afford all the costs.”

According to Statistics Canada, the average tuition fees for an undergraduate student in Alberta were $5,730 in 2015. For those studying medicine or dentistry, those annual fees can triple or even quadruple. Books and course materials can add another $1,000 to the tally, and covering housing, food and other costs adds thousands more.

Yes, indeed.  Those schools do cost a good bit.  Often loans are made, with the expectation of a large income at the end,  which is used to repay the loan.  If you are capable enough to make it into those schools, then you are considered to be a good bet to pay off the loan.  This is how it is done for the fellas.  Of course, with women, the graduates of these professional schools will be given the affirmative action fast track, so there would be less to worry about in terms of repayment.

“When you’re a student, you’re definitely more vulnerable and you’re getting involved with someone who might be a bit more established in their life and career, and (the student) might be negatively impacted.”

As mentioned before, there are the Mounties.  They are hard to miss.  They wear red (sometimes).  They ride on horses (now and then).

A number of women don’t show their faces on their public profiles, with some suggesting they want to keep their identity concealed so it doesn’t potentially harm their future employment prospects.

Perhaps also employment prospects as a wife and mother.

“This is sex work. It may not be just providing (sexual acts), but they’re providing intimate relationships for a fee,” Sullivan said, adding she is in favour of legalizing and regulating prostitution to help remove the stigma that surrounds sex workers.

I see.  She is not a prostitute, but a relationship artist.

Here we have women trying to normalize sluttery.   To be able to monetize their most attractive years through such.  But as mentioned before, the fellas will never, ever be enthused with sluts as wives.  A conundrum.

Perhaps the solution is for women to marry the state (and fantasize about JT)

First, we should thank Mgtowhorseman for finding the post. I think he is the only one of us reading The National Post on a regular basis.
These sluts may employ this to pay off student loans, but the boys are going to be angry. First, the boys don’t get to monetize sex and, second, ending up with someone’s used girlfriend is bad enough. Ending up with some rich man’s cast off plaything is something else.
There is one thing that bothers me about this. How are the boys going to be able to find out? Women with a lot of sexual experience are good at covering their tracks.

  2. Good observation that these women should have good chances of getting a job to repay the loan. But guess what? They don’t WANT to repay the loan! Even if they get a job! But guess what? It doesn’t work like that.

I took minimal school loans (just books and tuition above what I had, not living expenses and fancy things trips and such.)

People should not take loans they are not willing to repay, including loans from “sugar daddies.”

I just realized that an unscrupulous bride could come into a marriage with a mountain of debt, divorce, and then leave the debt with her husband as a parting gift. I ams sure that there are plenty of family court judges that would be more than happy to comply. The lenders could care less who repays.

  13. Fuck this.
I have degrees from University of Toronto and Brock.
I paid them by working in a warehouse night shift and summers working two jobs.

My son and daughter both attend ontario universities or trade school. Both got osap ( ontario student assistance program) loans of 7000 a year from the govt. One is in 4th and one is in 3rd year. Both are already paid their first two years back. He work construction summers (becoming an electrician) and she tutors all year and teaches in her field in a private boarding school in the summer.

You can pay as yoiu go in canada as its still reasonable compared to u.s. these sluts just want a free easy ride.

Forget the morals of this. What does this do to thier marriage bar. No young man is going to measure up. 2500/ month clear? Thats 50k after tax. At 30% tax thats a salary of 60+k.!!!!

Ooo you are a business major making 45k first year out. No your not going places. My sugar daddy in school was a lawyer making 150k. Hell I made 60k on my back!

Lazy entitled sluts who will never marry.

You’re even trying to get through to women to not be like that. The problem is, that for men, while we hope for the best, we must prepare for the worst.

When they are done with this, they will close all their accounts, play the innocent, and find someone to wife them up. They don’t see that option closing for them. Granted, they will make terrible wives, but hubby will do the suffering for that.

The sugar daddy/baby relationship is not equivalent to straight prostitution. Sugar babies are in it to wring these guys dry and get as many goodies as possible while giving them as little sex as possible, ideally none. Why does this sound familiar?

    Farm Boy,
That there was a rumor about Hillary being prevented from leaving the country over the weekend was a tonic. It doesn’t matter what they put her away for, just that they put her away. Being an accessory to child prostitution is fine.

  31. Cill says:

Be it prostitute – client, or sugar daddy – sugar baby, both are more honest than marriage. Prostitute – client is best because the client directly receives what he has paid for each time, and there’s the least risk of children or false rape or DV, and trading him in for a better deal is irrelevant.

    Liked by 3 people

  32. Actually I would argue the girls taking the “sugar baby” route are spending their most valuable mate searching years as a rental. Later, when she decides it is time to settle down, it will be with a lower SMV/MMV mate than had she done so younger (if she finds one at all!) As they say, don’t waste the pretty!

    Liked by 4 people

  33. From the Sugar Daddy viewpoint, he’s not taking the risk of marriage and can trade in for a different model on a whim. The Sugar Daddy holds all the cards as it is much easier for him to find a willing sugar baby than for her to find another willing Sugar Daddy!

    Liked by 3 people

  34. It’s the same old cross purposes of the genders thing – for a woman the best and safest option is a committed relationship (marriage). For the man, it is the opposite! Prostitution or being a Sugar Baby is like being a pro athlete — it is a short lived “career” so they better save while they can!

    Liked by 1 person

  35. Or to put it another way, few men would want their daughter or sister to be a prostitute (or a slut), even if they themselves are participating in and prefer such arrangements. Why? Because they know for their sister or daughter sex w/o commitment is not in her best interest. For a man, it is the opposite.

    Liked by 1 person

  36. fuzziewuzziebear says:

These women who are choosing to go the sugar baby route are doing it consciously. They expect to put it behind them like closing a door or turning a page and have the white picket fence dream too. They have no concept of consequences. If they are found out, they expect their men to accept it.

On the largest sports and media stage in the world, several news outlets somehow got it into their heads that Brady’s sole responsibility wasn’t to concentrate on football and lead his team to a fifth Super Bowl title. No, he also had a moral responsibility to denounce his friend and golfing buddy, Donald Trump.

In their attempts to put Brady and the team on notice about their problematic friendship, the media somehow managed to convert former Patriots haters into fans. Because while few institutions are more hate-able than the Patriots, the media is definitely one of those institutions.

Anyway, that bit about women going on strike March 8th, if it happens, I wonder if anyone will notice? As for withholding sex, the threat carries no weight if she is already doing it. While Mommy is being silly, we could hang out with toddlers and make funny noises to make a great day of it.

As for the “Bustle” link, women who won’t change their name should be looked at askance. An exception can be made for professional notoriety.
Feminists just aren’t going to go away now that Hillary has lost. They still think that they wield the same political power.

  63. Linny says:

The *Bustle* article made me giggle because:

    – In Quebec (don’t know if it is law or just suggested) that women retain their FRENCH surname.Apparently French surnames are disappearing.

    – My own son changed his name with his marriage. His wife’s first name is exactly the same as his surname. So she would have become something like Jane Jane.He hyphenated the two surnames for himself.

    – I kept my married name after my divorce until all my children were done school (made life easier) then reverted to my maiden name because I was no longer tied to that man. My grandchildren call me grandma first name, my ex remarried and his wife gets to be grandma surname.

    – I did not change my name with my second partner because we were never legally married, if we had been then I would have taken his name simply to show respect for him.

    – In a biblical sense your surname denotes not who a woman is but who rules over her. To retain her maiden name says that her father still rules over her. And yes during the years I spent without a man in my life I did seek my father’s counsel on many occasions.

How much respect can you have for a man if you spurn his name and he allows it.
