The Future of MGTOW by Deti

I have told this esteemed distinguished assembly all of this before, in so many words. The future of MGTOW is that it’s going to get a lot, lot bigger. It’s also going to have a lot of men “forced” into it. But men will do what they do. They will adapt, improvise and overcome. It will be painful at first, but they will eventually get used to it like they did 100 to 200 years ago being married drafthorses. And they’ll even kind of like it.

I think right now MGTOWs are doing all of the above – playing video games and working shitty jobs earning just enough to survive and buy some toys; earning under the table nontaxed income; living with a GF/FwB; engaging in illegal income producing activity (usually making or selling drugs); or freeloading off family and the government. Some in the ‘sphere actually encourage this last one – CappyCap exhorts us to Enjoy the Decline, after all.

This isn’t going to change, except it will become more and more prevalent as time goes on. We’re going to become a country with upwards of 20, 30, 40 million men who are unmarried, unemployed or underemployed, and draining government resources. These men have no reason to change and every reason to stay right where they are. Some enterprising lawyer will get some court to declare them an Oppressed Minority or disadvantaged. That will then entitle them to government goodies and benefits.

The men like Cappy – working jobs, enjoying life, earning income from jobs and other ventures, not married, no kids – will continue as before. That kind of life will be very attractive to a lot of men. Most men are going to give up the idea of being married, settling down, and having kids. They won’t earn enough money for it; they aren’t attractive enough; it’s too much work even if they could do it; and the risks aren’t worth the benefits. So they’ll go the Cappy route. The most influential men in the sphere, except Dalrock, are doing this. They’re either original MGTOWs, or they’re PUAs or wannabe PUAs. Most will get sex now and again but nothing serious. As soon as they can, they’ll get vasectomies. As soon as Vasalgel passes FDA approval they’ll use that.

To many older married men, the Cappy lifestyle will look strange; many others will envy them. (I kind of do.) But it will be aspirational for a lot of men — they’ll try to replicate it as best they can.

Most MGTOWs will do everything they can to take as much from government as they can – not because they want to force a collapse; but because they’re entitled to it like everyone else. Why wouldn’t you take free money that you’re qualified for?

The hue and cry from society will increase. “Where have all the good men gone?” “Why won’t these men grow up and get married?” Some will cave to the pressure. A lot of women will still want marriage, because status boost and show up the frenemies and want kid and need dad for kid. Men do not understand just how strong a woman’s drive to get preggers and give birth is. Just as women do not understand just how strong a man’s drive to get his dick in that warm wet hole is.

So… A lot of them will still knock up women. Spermjacking. She’ll lie to him, telling him how hot she is for him; how much she loves his dick in her pussy, etc. Real pornstar treatment. She’ll pornstar it up for him. Then after she pops the kid out, wedding or not, she kicks him out. what we have now on steroids, multiplied by 1000.

There’ll be more violence, more rioting, more civil unrest. What the black ghettos look like now in our major metros, multiply that by 100,000. It will spread to every population center into working class white neighborhoods, then into middle class. It’s already there where I am. A lot of these men are armed to the teeth.

That’s the future of MGTOW. Much more prevalent, much bigger, much more dystopian, more men forced into it, to which they’ll adapt.

I think it’s a bit different. Current MGTOWs have been forced in to it.

Future younger MGTOWs will make it a choice, because they already see the downside to playing the game. They have no problem with the minimalist life style. Living in their cars and working at Walmart is all they aspire to.

And just maybe, they are smarter than the rest of us.

Teslas advances will help. Look up an old story by Poul tbe scifi writer called last of the deliverers. Explained how cheap self sufficient power allowed people to leave the city for small self.sufficient acreage.

Musks system will do that. Shingles that are solar cells, a larger pwerwall to store the energy, electric heat added to a wood stove, electric car. Once your house is paid then just food that you dont grow.

A single man can live in a 900 sq foot cottage at under 100k. Upgrade it as above and viola. Easily live on 15k a year. Plus once the boomers move into ltc then imagine 20% of the housing stock going empty within a decade. can we say cheap housing. And remember farmers are THE oldest demographic in the countries. Lots of farms will go to corporations so just the farmhouses will go up for sale. Hell around here lots go for auction.

So all these men, drift out of the city. farming part time, working just for food money. Hunting, fishing, cussing, playing with bonfires.

    But not fucking or plowhorsing

Why it will be INTOLERABLE. Stop having FUN!
Stop it. stop kt stop it.

    I am an optimist.

Most men are too self sufficient, proud or just wanna do stuff. Yes some will wallow, some will mooch. The inner cities will deterioriate.

But look at me, Cill, Choincy. Productive guys wanna do some worm but I personally am in the position this year to fuck you my boss. I run my shop but if you bug me I will bugger off. I need the job …not but you need my ever more rare skill set. So. Let me work part time. let me run things …or….

Many will do this. Think of the tradesmen in the 70s buggering off each winter to the old country. Be the same thing. Men working as much as they need when they need then buggering off to do whatever.

My son is a apprentice electrician. he makes 35k already. He figures he only needs 25k to run his wee house and bills. Over the years his wage will go up and his expenses down. He full intends to be working 20 hours a week by 35.
    Why. because he can.

I see this for any man of value. Any man who likes to work, not to slave but to keep busy. Hell even Choicy and Cill fish for their supper. to them its play to others its a job known as fisherman. just they do it self sufficient.

It will be a licence for men to do as they please because men CAN be self sufficient.

Too bad women cant make designer handbags, expresso machines and canapes themselves. Let alone heat, power, fuel, houses, umm. anything useful.

And Justin just increased the Canada Pension Plan, a payroll tax, by 3% to 11%. No big. Buuuuut buried in the fine print. Used to be only on income up to 54k. Above average journyman. In 2019 it goes up to 85K. All workers, supervisors, managers. And the increased pensions generated by this….not til 2030.

So for the last 10 most wage earning years of my life I get a 11% tax on an extra third of my salary but I retire in 2028 so I get bupkis. And I am tbe youngest of the baby boom demographic.

Good on ya Justin. Tax the boomers, the last of the plowhorse generation, incentivise boomer skills to retire or downgrade early just as a skill shortage hits and all to give pensions to millenials who embrace minimalism.

Prime example of public policy locked in looking to the past to envision a future.

    Kids will work hard….cause
    Men will plowhorse…cause
    Guys will marry….cause
    Vasagel will have no market…cause
    Women are worthy…cause.

um…ok. Sure. You go on using your dad’s policies.
I’ll be over here in my paid off self sufficient house.

In the UK the latest cause célèbre for rape is Ched Evans.

In the 21 months since I posted to protest the innocence of footballer Ched Evans (then serving a sentence for one of the more ludicrous rape verdicts in history) the article has become far and away the most visited ever at The Slog. At the last count, some 1.1 million readers have been there. Yesterday at 11.40 am, a Retrial Court in Cardiff found him not guilty.

Sadly, I don’t think the decision to clear Ched Evans is a turning point. I think the socio-political madness on the subject of rape has become far too embedded in a whole young generation’s mind to coax it gently back to common sense and a level playing field in a hurry.

But just as with the BBC celeb “child abuse” cases, as more decisions come through, the penny will drop with a growing number that the wholly understandable desire to protect genuine victims from mob rule and courtroom trauma has now gone too far. And eventually – one day long after I’ve disappeared into the air in a spiral of smoke – the profoundly bad and mad science of radical feminism that helped cause the original Evans verdict will also be consigned to history.

Admissibility of this or that piece of evidence is a tricky, complex subject in English Law at the best of times, but never more so than in cases of historical abuse and adult rape. A few of us knew, for instance, that the woman who brought this charge had a documented history of hotel encounters spookily identical to the format (à trois) and ‘come-on’ wording of sexual events that got Evans and his friend into trouble. Further, she had done the same thing two days before and two days after the Evans encounter.

That doesn’t prove Evans thought he had consent in this case. But without collusion, two other men came forward to say she had tried the exact same modus operandum to threaten them. It was, therefore, more than enough to cast a shadow of doubt; and in English Law, a shadow of doubt cannot be left. In Scottish Law, there is the third verdict of Not Proven. I’ve always found that unsatisfactory for all parties: but people should now, at last, sit down and think about whether the surface of adult sexual chess really is level or not.

Getting back to the original post. As far as predicting the future, I think there will be a confrontation. While female sexuality is lauded and unrestrained, male sexuality is getting trashed, this is a situation that can’t last indefinitely.I think the confrontation will come when it is generally acknowledged that the sexaul marketplace has seized.

As for Ched Evans, what feminists see is a rape conviction overturned. Never mind that he wasn’t guilty. They would prefer that he wasn’t gulity. They want the charge to be tool to terrorize men with. Relative guilt or innocne is of no import. That a woman can send a man to prison on her t4estimony alone is the end goal.

  21. SFC Ton says:

This would be less depressing if it were less plausibly true. I must admit that I gave up trying to persuade stupid people of the truth, and explain myself to women a loooong time ago.
Arguing with stupid people has them dragging you down to their level and then beating you with experience.
Explaining to women is a loser because the problem is unlikely to be about the facts, she probably doesn’t even know any, it’s about her feelz. Forget explaining, make her feel something else. Safe, sexy, shamed, happy…whatever

I wish I had written that original post a little better.

Ton disagrees with me. He says MGTOW is less driven by low access to pussy than it is low access to economic improvement. Men have MGTOW forced on them because there aren’t any better options at all. Living with mom and dad in the basement. Working shit jobs. All because there are no better economic opportunities. That very well might be, I don’t know. What I do know is that if you are the bottom 80%, and you have no access to pussy, or very limited access to pussy, or undesirable unattractive pussy, then you have no incentives to get better or work for anything else. Men will eventually acclimate themselves to that, though. They also will acclimate to alternative living arrangments and lifestyles, I think.

There won’t be a confrontation. Alphas won’t, because it’s fine the way it is. Betas can’t. Ton says they don’t have it in them. He’s right about that, but there’s more to it. After a time, betas won’t care. they’ll have acclimated to having no women for so long that they won’t care either way.

Deti I think where we disagree is a matter of degrees.

I say most men go their own way due to both economic failures and failing in the smp, with the primary failure bring economic. Let’s say 60% of the reason is fiscal and 40% is due to the smp, and for most guys econmic failure equals SMP / MMP failure. The beta bucks side of the equation

It takes 4-5 times your areas meduim income to fit the beta bucks roll (as hashed out by Nova Seeker and myself many moons ago ) Think about it, how many guys doint the video game and Chetoes life would be doing that near on full time while working 24 hours a week if a blue collar job type jov was paying them 70k a year, 2-3 -years after high school in a low-meduim rent area? Not saying they’d be out crushing ass but they would be making that cash to afford cooler toys and experiencesee.

Not sure the alphas think it’s fine per say, they just don’t see the problems of others. Which is a fairly typical human fault. Alphas are humans, with all the good and bad that entails.

And yes after awhile, betas shurg like John Galt, but initially it’s because they won’t confront women. If they did confront women they would be much closer to the top 20%

Which is also a sliding scale. 1% dudes have pussy raining down on them, 20% dudes get laid regularly but have to not making many mistakes, 30% guys are probably not that far off from the 20%, would hit the 20% level if they cleaned up the slopes in their game etc etc.

Fuzzie, it was the the normal, national police that marched. The gendarmes are a kind of national SWAT team.

A gendarmerie or gendarmery (/dʒɛnˈdɑːrməri/ or /ʒɑːnˈdɑːrməri/) is a military component with jurisdiction in civil law enforcement. The term “gendarmerie” is derived from the medieval French expression gens d’armes, which translates to “armed men”.[1] In France and most Francophone nations, the gendarmerie is the branch of the armed forces responsible for internal security during wartime.[1] This concept was introduced to several other Western European countries during the Napoleonic conquests.[2] In the mid twentieth century, a number of former French mandates or colonial possessions such as Syria and the Republic of the Congo adopted a gendarmerie after independence.[3][4]

The growth and expansion of gendarmerie units worldwide has been linked to an increasing reluctance by some governments to use military units typically entrusted with external defense for combating internal threats.[1] A somewhat related phenomenon has been the formation of paramilitary units which fall under the authority of civilian police agencies. Since these are not strictly military forces, however, they are not considered gendarmerie.[5]

Some of the more prominent modern gendarmerie organizations include the French National Gendarmerie, Italian Carabinieri, and Spanish Civil Guard.[5]

Sûreté (French for “surety” but is usually translated as “safety” or “security”[1]) is a term used in French-speaking countries or regions in the organizational title of a civil police force, especially the detective branch thereof.

It was the differences between western legal systems and the french one that had me watch the French made series Engrenages, renamed when shown subtitled on ABBC to Spiral

Some of the character writing is a litle shonky from time to time, but nothing approaching the shonk-fest of The Walking Dead, so that’s okay.

If you can live with subtitles, give it a whirl. Caroline Proust is sort of cute in a real world kind of way. She sort of tries to be one of the boys as leader of the team, but makes rather a plausible hash of it (iirc she shags a guy ‘like a man would (mentally)’ but then gets tricky feelings about it afterwards). I think that the French get the differences between the sexes and don’t shrink from them. Perhaps I am behind the times now.

A series that I did enjoy more recently was the French original series ‘The Returned’. Not the film. It had more atmosphere than the various remakes from the US and Oz. Though ‘Glitch’ from Oz was inspired by The Returned but then took it its own way.

Oliver Cromwell – Dissolution of the Long Parliament 1653

Dissolution of the Long Parliament by Oliver Cromwell given to the House of Commons, 20 April 1653.

It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not barter’d your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?

Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defil’d this sacred place, and turn’d the Lord’s temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress’d, are yourselves gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!

In the past being married and supporting a family, even a divorced family, was seen as a trait of responsibility and duty.

With the speed and direction things seem to be heading, men who have been damaged by feminism, branch swinging, and girl power, will begin to see those same actions as a trait of poor decision making and lacking internal strength.

It will start to change who gets hired, promoted, and given the chance of further success.

And it will grow as a mindset as like minded people become more prevalent at work and elsewhere.

    A reworking of a classic

    Full of Hot Air

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.”
The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, “You’re in a hot air balloon approximately 30
feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.”
She rolled her eyes and said, “You must be a Republican.”
“I am,” replied the man. “How did you know?”
“Well,”answered the balloonist, “everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to make of your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me.”
The man smiled and responded, “You must be a Democrat.”
“I am,” replied the balloonist. “But how did you know?”
“Well,” said the man, “You don’t know where you are or where you’re going. You’ve risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You’ve made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and now you expect ME to solve your problem. You’re in EXACTLY the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now, it’s MY fault.

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

“Oh,” said the man, “whose clock is that?”
“That’s Mother Teresa’s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”
“Incredible,” said the man. “And whose clock is that one?”
St.Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.”
“Where’s Hillary Clinton’s clock?” asked the man.

What had she been through over the past year and a half—what had America been through? She had prepared for a normal campaign, prepared for something like 2012, a boring slog against a sane and decent regular Republican whom she would strain to argue was Wrong On The Issues. Instead she got a hair-on-fire carnival ride, a Russian spy thriller, a national nervous breakdown of an election.

Every day she got up and recited the same jokes and exhortations, and every day the hackers released more of her advisers’ private communications onto the internet, and every day her improbable opponent, a sort of primal scream in human form, waved his arms and called her a criminal.

She had piles and piles of proposals*—to rightsize the prisons and roll back deportations and pay for child care and on and on—and then it turned out the election wasn’t about any of that. It was about trying to be as inconspicuous as possible and waiting for the fire to burn out. It was about being slightly less of a monster. Even then, about half of America looked at her and was not convinced.

re MGTOW: Back to the future?

For anyone who has the time – even if only small amounts spread out over weeks or months – this is a good read. It starts out describing a time when men were required by law to remain in one geographic location – even if they had no employment. It moves on to describe the genius of capitalism that would allow men to sell their labor in any geographic region that would have them. But that social change required the laws that kept men in one place to be repealed. It is the story of the progression of men’s ability to exchange their labor for other things of value. And it starts where MGTOW are headed back to: at a time where many men worked only long enough to satisfy current needs, then did other things until they needed to work to satisfy current needs again. Because there was no incentive to work more.

    The Worldly Philosophers – Heilbroner

It is a fool’s errand that is replacing mens labor with robots. Those who know the dynamics laid out in the book linked to above will realize that putting millions of men out of work is not a good idea. So – perhaps we will eventually return to the laws that keep men in one geographic location – even if they have low or no employment. That surely will make for a wonderful life. Not.

Obama spoke personally to each man in the audience, urging them to examine their hearts, pointing out that he wanted his daughters to achieve whatever they wanted for their lives.

“I want every man out there who’s voting to kind of look inside yourself and ask yourself — if you’re having problems with this stuff, how much of it is that we’re just not used to it?“ he said.

Men, he explained, didn’t have a problem supporting a man who was in public and demonstrated ambition, but sometimes questioned women who did the same thing.

“I’m just being honest,” he said, as women in the audience yelled in approval. “I want you to think about it because she is so much better qualified than the other guy.”

Obama made his remarks during a campaign rally in Ohio for Hillary Clinton. He added that his wife Michelle Obama was better than he was.

It’s time now to admit that Mitt Romney was right and Barack Obama was wrong. The president’s “flexibility” with Russia has meant outsourcing America’s Middle East policy to the Kremlin, while giving Moscow a free hand to steal Crimea and invade Ukraine, plus intimidate Eastern Europe with nuclear saber-rattling. Calling all this a needless geopolitical disaster is charitable.

Nevertheless, four years on, the very same people who assailed Romney’s realism about Russia are hard at work detecting Kremlin plots everywhere, trying to steal the presidential election from Hillary Clinton. Somehow, Vladimir Putin has mysteriously transformed from being a guy we can deal with, no sort of threat, to the devilish figure secretly tearing America apart. What on earth is going on here?
