My first comment in response to the Hierarchy of the herd

Another flashback, this is a comment that I made to the Hierarchy post.

Can I bend your framework a little to tie it into an article elsewhere? And thereby explain why society is falling apart over the issue of feminism. That’s a lofty goal(!) surely worth a go?

That article* talks about the obsolescence of women. Their historical role of bearing kids still exists (until artificial wombs are invented) , but beyond that, homemaking has been pretty much made a part time job at best (thanks to male invented technology). Following the invention of the pill, women have been freed from their historical role, but have floundered in finding a new one. Some of them have grabbed the old male one (on old school male terms – real equality), others grabbed that role and bent it somewhat (lowered physical standards for jobs where necessary). Others have just bitched and moaned about ‘patriarchy’ oppressing them (no details emerge under questioning), stamping their feet because 50% of whatever need to be female or it just isn’t fair (only the good jobs though, no need for 50% oil rig workers / miners etc). Others, the non-feminist, non-career oriented, women are left without a role unless they can hold their nose and marry a beta. To be fair there are women that don’t need to hold their nose to do that, let’s call them old-school perhaps(?) But their problem is; is this role really necessary anymore? And that they need a host male to provide for it.
The reason I want to stretch your framework is because of a comment made on that article, which made me consider a connection between that article and yours

Nostradormouse in reply to rocelot

Women had the pharmaceutical assistance to make a seismic discontinuous break with the cultural scripts derived from biological determinism half a century ago.
All that lovely Dr. Greer could come up with at the time was a demand for more and better orgasms. Even the Spice Girls, who were in a position to concisely articulate the aspirations of an entire gender and generation, could only identify their endgame as ‘Zigazigah’
This article crystalises my underlying ‘beef’ with Feminism. It has no underlying philosophical or critical premise. “Women are human beings too” just doesn’t cut it.
The culture hasn’t figured out what to do with fertile women who aren’t having kids, so women now get a free pass.
They [Swithers – apex alpha females] have done surprisingly little with a change which makes us almost a different species. No observation. No derivation of theory. No experimental evidence reproducible or otherwise. I am disappointed.

So I want to stretch your framework by redefining ‘apex alpha females’. These are the gals that should be giving the herd its lofty goals, it’s direction beyond ‘you are exactly the same as men (except better in suitably vague terms) you go girls and zigazigah’. But if any apex-alpha-females exist, they are failing to deliver the requisite philosophy. (To explain my departure from your framework; I would argue that Maggie Thatcher was effectively a non-penis-wielding apex-alpha-male).

Whatever the perceived faults of beta males (not sexy enough for entitled yugo-girls) they used to do the heavy lifting for society. As I’ve previously said, increasing numbers of these guys are failing to see why they should do the heavy lifting when the rewards aren’t there. Now we could talk about VR girlfriends / sex-bots / reliable male contraceptive (RISUG) making this even ‘worse’ soon (maybe a discussion for another day. I see it as men’s right to GTOW, it’s up to society to offer them a deal that they want).

But what about the beta women? They have no homemaker role if the beta men aren’t interested in being their financier / pack-mule. Single moms can live via daddy-state, but men by and large do not want to wife them up and this life is only viable while the state has the cash (or can print it). Many of these beta females (I presume) like the traditional role of women (even without men. SATC basically), but they need financing. I’m happy for all the women that want to muscle in on the old male role (packhorse / moneycow for society), but what about those that don’t?
Feminism has been tearing down beta men, out of some hatred for ebul-penis-wielders-that-aren’t-sexy-enough-but-dammit-they-outperform-women-in-many-fields (which is clearly not fair – must be patriarchy etc) so quotas, AA etc are used to drag them down. But in doing that they have left the beta women without their personal financial host.

It appears that some of these women are starting to see that feminism is not interested in them either. The stats show an increasing number of women are seeing marriage and kids as an important goal (refusing the feminist line – career as the soul defining part of their life, there are no gender differences beyond whether your genitalia happen to point in or out), just as men are dropping the provider role ‘offered’ by marriage.

TL;DR there is an apex alpha female role (distinct from the male one), but nobody competent is doing the job. Everyone bar the alpha males and females are suffering, or will suffer because of it.

p.s.
I am very happy for everyone to define their own goals, women should have just as many choices as men. I am not interested in a return to patriarchy (whatever that was in the western world, a long time ago). I just happen to believe that feminism hurts women too.

Special weather statement in effect for:

Belleville – Quinte West – Eastern Northumberland County
Cobourg – Colborne – Western Northumberland County
A rare weather event expected for southern Ontario on Tuesday: a rainy day.

Most people have heard the expression, ‘when it rains, it pours’. It loosely means, when something happens it can happen repeatedly thereafter.

Following what may be the most significant summer rainfall for many locales in southern Ontario yesterday, that expression may be on peoples’ lips again on Tuesday. A slow-moving low pressure system over eastern Texas is forecast to drift northwards over the next couple of days reaching the lower Great Lakes on Tuesday. It will tap the same tropical moisture which has been responsible for flooding rains across Louisiana. That extreme rainfall is not forecast for Southern Ontario. However, the most significant widespread rainfall in many months is likely, with amounts ranging from 25 to 40 mm in most places. There may be appreciably higher amounts exceeding 60 mm in some locales.

Rainfall warnings may be issued if a more significant event of widespread 50 mm or more appears more certain.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to storm.ontario@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports to #ONStorm.

Ok way off topic but can you tell we haven’t had rain in some time when THIS is a flash flood warning.

    Back on topic. Kinda…

Maybe it’s just my perception, but it seems like the herd is just “existing”. Working, but just adding to the churn, instead of helping any sort of advancement. Especially for the ones that are single/divorced moms, and barely making ends meet. Not that it’s just so great for men, but they do seem to do somewhat better financially, socially, etc.

The real victims are the children, who never really learn how to have a healthy relationship, because they’ve not seen it in their two different homes.

    Brilliant analysis.

    A society needs roughly
10% charasmatic leaders to rule, set the direction for advancement.
25% thinkers to discover new resources or new ways of production to provide for the society
50% providers and protectors to produce the food, goods, shelter society needs
10% mediators(clergy) to keep the philosophical peace and 5% artisans/entertainers to amuse in bad times.

This applies to both sexes. Male provider are soldiers, farmers, workers. Female are mothers, teachers, caregivers.

We have abandoned the roles of the 50% of both sexes. There is an app for everything. How many of people you know actually produce not push paper. Me included.

The institutions to guide children into their strata and roles are gone. University and trade school is a waste. Motherhood is lost. Marriage is a bygone product.
    Everyone is adrift.

Even the 5%. Seriously? May, Trudeau, Clinton, Trump. These are the best over a billion people can come up with.

Partically it was allowed to unwind only because of a rare event where all the needs of society could be met by a generation of easy resources and self advancing technology. The roles could go into autopilot and stuff still got done.

But now the growth is gone economically, scientifically and socially. The roles need to keep their work to keep society functioning.

And lost is the unique benefits for each. Provider status to lure packhorses. Unneeded.
Elite fight to rise to leadership. Nah Kardashianism.
The curious encouraged to push science. Scholarships by quota not IQ.
Stability and status to be true Nurturing Mothers not breeders of infants, wheres the party in that.

    We are lost.

One potential solution to this worrying state of affairs is to do away with jurors in sex crime trials, and appoint a specially trained judge. New Zealand could be the first country to rid sex crime cases of jurors if one key recommendation from a recently published report by its Law Commission is implemented. The commissioners have suggested that there is a case for having sexual violence trials decided by a judge, either alone or with two expert “lay assessors”.

I find you to have little credibility when you speak of temps beginning with 9…don;t believe you.

I must admit that I find these temperatures very comfortable, but more sun and blue skies please.

Am I allowed, if I ever felt the need, to speak of TrigglyPuff’s rancid kebab?
Is it just tacos that are the problem? Or is it a generalised problem with referencing food items?

Sorry to have to point it out, but we have cold starry nights and cloudless sunny days. Jolly boating weather. No wind. What a beautiful Winter. Pity everyone can’t have it. Some of us are simply more fortunate than others. If we could export it, I wouldn’t. We need to maintain a wide difference between the “haves” and “have nots” or we’d kill the tourism industry… 😉

I agree with Erin Pizzey, who said Feminism is a virus. She also expressed surprise at the amount of cohesion in the men’s movement, expecting men to turn on each other instead of the real enemy.

Well, it wasn’t long before Paul Elam launched his attack on MGTOW, and an idiot by the name of Dean Esmay kicked us out of a club we never belonged to in the first place. If he’d kicked us out of a school of minnows off the coast of Madagascar it would have made as much sense.

It’s about Hillary from the Atlantic. I couldn’t read it all. Feminists have their candidate nad they are going to make this all about gender and it will be very ugly. My only hope is that they crash and burn with Hillary losing by a landslide.

It amazes me that so many people will vote for her, simply because they think she has a vagina.

I had a friend who used to work for the secret service, and what she told me about how HC treated people was absolutely terrible.

If HC get elected president, I hope that all of these feminists appreciate being lied to about how and why their children died in the Middle East. Or being lied to about how national security information was hacked by the Russians, the Chinese, or some 7th grader from the local middle school.

You know where you stand with a thief or a murderer. You never know where you stand with a liar.

They are nice to people at their level, or who can do something for them.

They are horrible to everyone else.

The story that I heard was more layered. While Hillary and Al Gore demonstrated contempt, Bill, consummate salesman that he is, charmed. Then, the story went on to George W.. If he had a cookout in Crawford, he would broil hamburgers to order for his Secret Service people. I guess that he took being a host seriously. Anyway, it is reassuring to hear stories of humility in the powerful.

I have never seen a woman be decent to her security details, men have been 50-50, but the shittyest little shit isn’t half the cunt of a typical female protecte

I’ve had bitches tell me they would be perfectly safe in the wilds of Afghanistan and us White guys with guns made them targets, not kept them safe not to mention the expectation we’d carry their shit, get doors, delay hit times etc for them

Only truly decent lady protecte was from Kuwait. Dat bitch had world class girl game.

One thing I can’t get across is….. women left their traditional roles. Men, mostly, want women in their life, but the new woman is more bullshit and hassle and less hearth, home, help mate etc reducing a woman’s value to sex only.

It is incredibly difficult for women to understand how little a man needs the new version of women.”

    – – – – – – –

    truth.

had interesting convo w/my sister the other day … she was defending our mother … said, ‘we all have issues we have to work out,’ … said, ‘Mom was just depressed and needed to work through her own stuff,’ … this is my sister who made a lot of her own mistakes and is having a difficult time understanding that simply b/c God has forgiven her doesn’t mean her daughter has … and if her daughter has, it doesn’t mean she can have whatever fantasy relationship she thinks she wants with her daughter.

it didn’t matter what i said … ‘mom just had to leave so she could work thru her own stuff. i can’t judge anyone.’ yada yada yada.

both my mom and sister frivorced their husbands. granted, as i’ve said before, my dad was equally culpable, but now my dad’s new bitch, or wife … i prefer the former, gets to enjoy the spoils of all the years my parents invested into building and making his business successful. dad and bitch travel all over the world all the time doing whatever the heck they want … and my mom is turning into a form of trailer park trash.

mom and sister do not get that their smv has plummeted and that they are not marketable anymore, at all … esp after what they’ve done. they don’t get that the reason there are ‘no good men out there’ is b/c (1) men don’t need them, and (2) they’re not the kind of woman a good man wants.

Spawny … 2011 was a HOT summer in Texas!

this is not where i’m from, but we were all pretty much in the same boat that year.

“Texas city makes heat record – 100 days of 100s”
    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/texas-city-makes-heat-record-100-days-of-100s/

what makes those days so harsh is that the low temps hover around the upper 80’s and lower 90’s, so it never really cools off here.
