Agree and Amplify

Agree and amplify is part of techniques that are sold by marketers of Game.  The idea is that when a woman says something about you that might be considered disparaging, agree with it, and furthermore, amplify it.  That is, go even further with it, just to show how ZFG (Zero Fucks Given, a future topic) you are.

In my personal case, I discovered agree and amplify by accident.  Being a ruthlessly logical INT with a killer death stare was the jumping off point.  People would point out some aspect of me that would normally be considered to be a detriment, but in my case, I considered to be a fine feature.  I would run with the intended insult, and then drive the point further.  It always helped that I was big and was clearly competent.

That is a key, one has to be competent to pull this off.  By competent, one means that he has the mixture of confidence, daring, ZFG and ability to make it happen.  The mixture varies per the fella and the context; but when people see it, they know it.  A fella agreeing and amplifying on a matter where he has the wrong mix does not work.  In fact, it makes him look silly.  Perhaps this is one reason that this not easily mastered, as there is no easy way to go from unskilled to skilled in an evolutionary manner.

An example of agree and amplify in action is Donald Trump.  Early in his candidacy he made some what are considered to be politically incorrect statements.  The media jumped on them, with everybody expecting him to withdraw like a normal good Republican would under such circumstances.  Instead of withdrawing, he amplified.  People were amazed.  His popularity increased dramatically.  Everybody knows that political correctness is a bunch of BS, and here was somebody who would say it.  Trump has the right mixture, furthermore his amplifications typically made sense, so it was off to the nomination for him.

If one can pull off agree and amplify as Trump has, then there is much respect to be gained.  By going against the grain in a ZFG manner, people figure that here is a man who can do things.  For many potential voters, that is enough.

Note also that all of this has raised Trump in the standing of many women, even though they might say publicly otherwise.

Because for RP & G (at least to me) you really have to be close to ZFG about the other person. RP to an extent isn’t as hard. But the Game part is. Again, it may just be for me.

Zfg is about outcome independence and not any sort of lasking in regard for others

Neither the red pill, game or zfg are new wisdoms. Those are simply new terms to describe classic masculine mind sets

I know that’s what ZFG is. It’s the “Game” part I was really focusing on. I have no problem being outcome independent, I just don’t like “Gaming” someone I GAF about, and have a hard time doing it. In short, I’ll do what I think is right whether or not she agrees with it. I just don’t do well trying to play her in to agreeing.

I have been watching Trump closely since his quest to become pouts began and it is true, agree and amplify has worked very well for him. In the face of criticisms that would have most publically apologizing and groveling for approval, he’s just taken it as a chance to almost pole vault his point to the next level. It is highly effective, even though logically it seems like the exact wrong thing to do. Everything just seems to roll off him like water off a duck’s back.

The agree and amplify and ZFG about his detractor’s opinions doesn’t give the impression that he doesn’t care about anything, in fact it gives the impression that he cares about something much bigger – it gives him almost a Nobel quality… Hard to put it into words. Like he’s above political posturing bc he’s got a bigger goal, and in his case it’s to make America American again. It’s so rare to see anymore that despite some serious clubs that would have sunk others, it instead seems to elevate his stature and reaffirm his leadership quality.

If you had asked me two years ago if he had a chance in hell of being pouts I would have said no way. He was just some pompus reality tv star, right? no chance! But he’s certainly proven otherwise!

A&A is useful far beyond Game.

My small town has grossly overbearing cops. The other night I couldn’t sleep; I usually get up and go for a walk or drive downtown and sit and watch the quiet of 3 am. So I did, sitting with coffee and a repurposed whiskey bottle filled with tap water. Of course a young female officer stopped by (they have a daily quota of 10 ‘contacts’). She started in on her checklist (public intox? Pot? Vagrancy? You could just see her little mind lusting for a bust.). Then, frustrated, she saw the water/whiskey bottle.

    ‘Wait, what’s that?’

Without thinking I blurted, ‘100% grain alcohol!’. This got her all fired up.

I did hand it to her to smell and she went away.

Sat night I was out again, same time. She was walking her beat and just smiled and kept moving.

I have yet to get her phone number, however. Currently taking a break from the SMP.

A & A would have no purpose if women didn’t reflexively shit test. The alternative is to get defensive, argue (which is counter productive) or sulk and become avoidant. None of those are a good look.

I didn’t know what A & A was until 3-4 years ago. I was just another guy in search of a unicorn who would just love me for my pure heart and noble intentions. Hahahahaha.

‘You’re so bossy!’ A recent flame opined. (Like most of my friends, she is used to being in charge, and she’s married two betas as a result. Oddly, she finds that an unsatisfying situation.). She was shirtless at the time. I was in the process of broadening her horizons. She was out of her comfort zone and defaulting to the shaming/Don’t be a bully feminist talking point.

    ‘Isn’t it great?!!!’ I replied.

I suppose I could have said, ‘I wish you wouldn’t speak to me that way, geez it hurts my feelings.’

But then I probably wouldn’t have completed my lesson plan.

Others include a football coach, the mayor, a college athletic director, a couple of business owners, guys like that. They are all married and domesticated tho so they needle me nonstop about my social life. They’ve witnessed me get Professor Fluid Gender’s phone number, and another time leave the scene with a gaggle of five college girls. They never stop giving me shit, and are always probing on a subject I do not discuss publicly. The quickest way to shut them up is to A & A their panting inquiries. It too is a better look than getting huffy or defensive.

Good conversation is the key to my heart, as well, Spawny. I used to even tell women that, under the assumption they would take heed and act accordingly.

Mrs Smith gave me the best conversation I’ve experienced in life. She facetimed me the other day from her new shithole posting (Hello, NSA!). She expressed sorrow at our separation and we spoke for an hour. Magnificent.

Then she shit tested me for not joining her. It. Just. Never. Ends.

I think the fitness testing is superfueled by open hypergamy, and the notion modern women have that someone, somewhere got a ‘better man”. But I’ve said enough for one day.

I think this is a reasonable assessment of an ongoing situation that you may not be aware of

Since the Brexit vote, and the resignation of the party’s messiah, Nigel Farage, UKIP has done a good impersonation of the Popular Front of Judea routine from Monty Python’s Life of Brian. The campaign to succeed Nigel Farage has descended into factional infighting that is especially confusing because most of the names involved are known only to their own families and the small band of young UKIP-types who drink around Westminster. Steven (Stephen?) won’t be able to stand because he couldn’t get his computer to work to deliver his nomination form. Someone else connected to Steven may be flung out. Another person wants someone else expelled. Meanwhile, the forces of Mr Shadowy Donor pledge a scorched earth war on every other faction if they don’t get what they want, or something. Honestly. This leadership clash is not exactly JFK v Nixon. Appearances are deceptive, however. The shambles matters a lot for the future shape of British politics, and helps explain Theresa May’s pitch for the “left behind by gloabalisation” vote.

I think part of the reason A & A worked so well with Trump in a political campaign is because people, especially die hard rock ribbed Republicans and paleocons, were sick to fucking death of “their” politicians rolling over and showing what huge pussies they are. Trump wouldn’t do that, refused to do it, told everyone to fuck off, and went back to doing and saying what he wanted.

The reason McCain, Lindsey Graham, Mark Kirk, Eric Cantor, John Boehner, Paul Ryan, et al won’t do any of that is because they are beholden to special interests who fill their campaign coffers and otherwise help them get reelected/advance their political agendas. (Boehner — that guy is such a crybaby — he should just go get some ointment for his vagina.)

The only other guy who I can think of who pulled off A & A, unabashed masculinity, was Ronald Reagan. Tony Snow did it when he was a press secretary for Bush II, sometimes. That sort of “straight talk” was uncommon for people who routinely had to be spokesmen for a president. They had to bob, weave, dodge, parry, double talk, deflect, etc. Snow could do that, but he just preferred to tell Helen Thomas and Sam Donaldson to, politely, fuck off.

It was refreshing to see Trump tell the establishment and SJWs to go fuck themselves. It’s what these middle America cons and Repubs have been dying to see . It’s what they say to people who they think are trying to screw them over or pull the wool over their eyes. They want so badly to see someone, anyone, stand up for what they believe — especially after their own party has sold them down the river so many times and has compromised and caved so many fucking times. To them, if Trump does compromise, at least he hoisted the middle finger to the liberals while doing so.

Agreed. I enjoy women especially the mrs but from a mgtow perspective I.e. I do my shit and if she wants to come along great but if not I aint changing. If she disappeared I would not replace her. Maybe have a few to look at, maybe a once a month dinner companion but thats about it.

Pure never deal with women at all in any way mgtows are the radical element like in any philosophy. the average is nust getting by in their life. in the case of mgtow doing as they see fit and in no way even considering the female perspective. If you obsess about hurt or avoidance of females you are as tied as any blue piller. you are living as reaction to them.

Do agree with a recent Chateau article..maybe today. too many mgtow use it as an excuse not to live or improve. why bother if not appreciated.

I’ll still explain if I believe that the question is honest, otherwise I troll or ignore. It’s too hard to discriminate the honestly thick from the mentally deficient idiotlog these days. Even in the honest but thick the stupidity runs too deep to correct. If they were looking to dummify the peeps they’ve succeeded beyond any dream.

——- that is truth right there.

want to watch women compete? listen to them try to one-up each other when talking about their man. and then they encourage one another saying, “You *deserve* THE BEST!”

the easiest way i’ve found to stop that is to agree with her that her man is ‘all that’ and more. takes out the competition.

I read that post from RoK and it came off as a lot of shaming. Two years ago, after the first Men’s Conference, I had hope that men could politically unite. Then, Paul Elam had to do a video, which I can’t seem to find, that tore into MGTOW for no good reason. The guys at RoK are up to as much. Men are becoming immune to shame. While there are an awful lot of very young men going MGTOW, I believe they have seen an awful at second hand and know that they’ll hit a dry spell that will last into their mid 30s when they’re wanted as beta bucks husbands. Those guys at RoK are fine with the AF side of things. They just don’t want to be targeted as BB.

Fuzz. agree most of Chateua and RoK is very assholeish pua purspective. And much is shaming.

But I gotta agree with the theme of don’t retreat into a monk like existence of avoidance and butthurt.

Just go and do your thing, whatever IT is. Because YOU want to. Dont live FOR, Because Of, To Avoid or Around anyone. DO FOR YOU.

Some men, the monks in my TAOIST teme live very simple lives trying to define their devine. Great. Its there thing. I can spend days in the bush, just me, a pony and a dog. Some guys immerse in thier workshops. All are isolated. All do not involve women. Fine. Great.

But the avoiding women is a BYPRODUCT not the motivation.
Doing for or against anyone. Male, female, boss, spouse, politician, clergy, fill in the blank….it is to abandon Your ONE LIFE…yes one….for the actions of another.

The only exception is raising children but even there you raise them, you dont live for them.

You get One shot at life. It is gone so suddenly.
It can be over next minute. Go Fucking Live It.

That is all I am saying. MGTOW living to avoid females is as bad as feminists living to hate men or puas living to use women. Its all living For someone else.

I live for ME. It happens to combine some aspects of MGTOW, Taoism, Libertarianism, Simple Living and Luddite. But those are byproducts or ideas not driving forces to Avoid living my life my way.

No one should shame anyone. But I am rather dismayed by the hopelessness and adrift I see in much of the MGTOW community.

p.s. I have been clinically dead twice so I know of what I speak. You get one sweet short ride.

If one chooses to forgo women, do so because you are living life fully otherwise, not to do so and then pine away in lack, or hate, or bitterness as some mtgow do (nobody here, just in general). I have had periods in life where I could have been with “someone” just not to be alone, but I choose not to. I choose “better alone than with someone who would eventually bring misery.” And during those times I poured myself into other pursuits and lived fully and did not focus on my relationship status. Even now, it does not define me. I think that’s what you are saying?

[A]ccording to Stoddart, ski slopes are places “for performing athletic, risk-seeking masculinity,” and “less risky areas of the skiing landscape may be interpreted as ‘gender-neutral’ or feminized space.” Honestly, to me, Stoddart’s insinuation that risk-taking is a man’s thing is what really seems sexist here — but he insists that it’s the ski slopes that are the problem, and that “the social construction of sport landscapes shapes gendered power relations.” “Through skiing, participants construct the meaning of gender and place, privileging masculinized versions of the sport,” the abstract continues.

Hillary Clinton put the whole country at risk with her illegal email server, deleted evidence of her crime, and lied repeatedly about her conduct which endangered us all. They released criminal aliens into our country who killed one innocent American after another — like Sarah Root and Kate Steinle — and have repeatedly admitted migrants later implicated in terrorism. They have produced the worst recovery since the Great Depression. They have shipped millions of our best jobs overseas to appease their global special interests. They have betrayed our security and our workers, and Hillary Clinton has proven herself unfit to serve in any government office.

As for women you know, I might suggest this. You spend time you want to spend with women you want to spend it with. Decide what you want, and then go for that.

A woman who’s a 5 time divorcee who won’t have sex before marriage is a bad bet. But you can use her for practice. Take her on a date or two. Cut your dating/relational teeth on her a bit. No sex? OK. You’re investing little time anyway. But don’t invest any more time.

If you want to have sex, I’m pretty sure you can find women who will be willing to give you that. In my area, there are legions on regiments of divorced women who are looking to hop back on the carousel. If I weren’t married I’d probably spin plates for the rest of my life. You have an opportunity to do that if you want. You have a chance to look for a wife if you want. But instead of trying that, you mope around here and Sunshine Thiry’s place. STOP. DOING. THAT.

The Summer of 2016 – Moral Maze

As someone once said ‘Whoever you vote for the government wins’. Whether we thought it was a conspiracy or not we’ve got used to the idea that something we called the establishment ran societies like ours. No longer. From Brexit voters agreeing with Michael Gove that we shouldn’t listen to experts, to Donald Trump supporters relishing the hostility to their man of every part of the American establishment or Jeremy Corbyn supporters rejecting conventional wisdom about what is needed to win elections: everywhere it appears the conventional, the expert, the elite, the establishment view is on the defensive. For some this is a brave new world of openness, activism and renewal. For others it’s a post-factual world of populism, extremism and damage. Is the establishment dying? Is this the assertion of the independent-minded? A welcome jolt for a complacent ruling class? A time of renewal? Or a brainless twitch by people bored with issues and complexity, ushering in a host of dangerous isms – populism, extremism, nationalism. “The Summer of 2016” – should we cheer, worry, or despair? As for women you know, I might suggest this. You spend time you want to spend with women you want to spend it with…use her for practice.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this is half of what I’m trying to do. Nevermind this supposed “pampering and coddling”. I think Fuzzie could benefit from having a nice meal with a friend who just so happens to be female.

He gets a free meal from a person of the opposite sex who has only good intentions. This is not a bad situation to be in, and gives both of us practice with meeting new people.

Of course, Fuzzie might be busy this weekend. In which case, I would not blame him for declining. 😄

I hope that you two get together and enjoy yourselves, should be fun to put a face to a personality.

I certainly don’t want Fuzzie to leave the blog, but I would like his time here to help him build himself up.

Don’t forget to pat him on the head. Good practice, etc., for how the world works.

I had/still kind of have done the same thing. Some things are hard to let go of. But believe me, it’s harder if you don’t talk about it for real. And harder still if you are in the same environment the issue arose in.

Change something. Anything. A first step that is attainable, can be followed by more positive steps.

Europastan doesn’t know fuck all about what is on their side of the ocean either! They have screwed themselves and refuse to admit it.
