The Blame Game

There seems to lots of blame happening in the world.  Blaming is useful as it absolves one of responsibility to do anything about a problem; it becomes somebody else’s issue.  If one is crafty enough to obtain victim status, some free money or other goodies could be forthcoming.

The Bible makes the point that people are responsible for themselves.  Blaming others is not what is expected. If there is an issue, then one should try to figure out what is best, and then do it (perhaps this is why Western Civilization exists).  The modern secular religion is seemingly opposite of this; the first impulse is to blame others. This does not bode well for the future.

Feminism was a pioneer in this.  Men and their Evil Patriarchy are blamed for all sorts of nefarious deeds.  As mentioned previously here, there was a balance to the old system.  After chipping away at cherry picked “injustices”, while ignoring the system as a whole, Feminism has encountered a problem.  It is now obvious that the modern western system is so unbalanced that calls for more rule bias toward women is silly.  Yet the calls are still there. Is this a problem?

No, this is not a problem.  One just switches modes, to an expectation that the pointed to “problems” will never be “fixed”.  The idea is that an excuse is provided, absolving the so called victim from even trying.  This works best when the incorrect reasons for the issue is pressed forward.  Everybody knows what the real issue is, but the real issue is politically incorrect, so that everybody pretends that problem is somewhere else.  Since we cannot address the real cause, the so-called problem can never be resolved.  So we are left with and excuse-in-perpetuity. This is, once again, the desired result.

An example of this is women in STEM.  Men have the advantage here, having the larger number of high-IQ members, having testosterone to provide the drive to master difficult fields, having the traditional role as bread-winners to drive them to achieve.  Furthermore, women are typically more interested in fields that deal more with people.  And fields that are easier (and offer lots of advancement due to affirmative action).  Sure, the above is sexist, but reality is reality.

None of the above will really be resolved without some heavy-duty coercion. Of course, there is some of this happening, but if it gets to heavy, it will become obviously silly.  So, there is no real solution here.  Still the situation allows women to blame the Evil Patriarchy forever.  Women can be victims forever.  With no low lying fruit left, this is the best situation that they can hope for.

Do you think that we will see it happen in our lifetimes that complaining feminists will simply be ignored? It is beyond ridiculous already. It won’t take tooo much more before they stop being funny.

I remember a scene from the movie, Rising Sun. Sean Connery is explaining to Wesley Snipes the advantage in Japanese corporate outlook. Americans are are always trying to fix blame. Japanese try to fix the problem.

A man advances by learning from his mistakes, not by foisting them on someone else. He becomes more independent by accepting that the buck stops with him.

The blamers can’t advance. They can only suck resources out of more productive people. Alone in the wilderness or on the ocean the blamers wouldn’t last long. Entire generations of useless people will never learn this.

My car needed $200 of repairs + one of my few close female acquaintances ran into financial trouble, so I lent her $450. So…the majority of my saved up convention money is gone. I have enough still for my share of the room and basic food, but not much else. Go figure. 😭

During his speech, Obama criticized Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” by saying that “America is already great” and accusing Trump of having a “deeply pessimistic vision” of the country.

“I promise you, our strength, our greatness, does not depend on Donald Trump,” Obama said.

“Our power doesn’t come from some self-declared savior promising that he alone can restore order. We don’t look to be ruled,” he added.

This is what happens when you add the voice over of a documentary about mental illness on to a video about SJW’s, the funny part is that had I not told you it was a voice over you would have had no problem in believing it was an actual documentary about SJW’s.
