What are Trump’s chances in the Presidential Election? It hard to say precisely. He is unconventional and unpredictable, his opponent might have to bow out due to legal reasons, and things just seem a bit crazy this year.
But one thing that is clear is that Trump is not a conventional candidate. Early in the primary race, he uttered in quick sequence some very politically incorrect statements. The news media naturally thought that the normal script would be followed by a Republican who did so, groveling apologies followed by a reasonably quick exit from the race. Well, that did not happen. His popularity increased. The news media was not driving the situation though, the polls were. The media naturally believe that they can drive the polls, but in this case their attempts to do so did not work.
Trump effectively ignored the media and plowed ahead. He further gained in the polls. The media was mad for two reasons: they hate Trump and they did not like their impotence. So naturally, the media doubled down in their attacks. No effect.
Trump operates by his own rules, not those laid down by the media. And everybody saw it. This is what an alpha does. Even if people do not really know what an alpha is, they do have at least a vague sense about these things. The question is, how does it matter?
Men will follow a leader. It is built-in. There are many disaffected men out there who are looking for a leader. Trump says that he is it. For them, he probably is. There are actually many of these men out there, of all races and ethnicities. The men not in this category sense a strong leader, and will gravitate toward him at least a bit. For men, in the voting booth, can they choose Hillary over Trump?
Of course, all of the manosphere knows that women go for alpha guys. Guys who make their own rules. Guys who, when appropriate, emanate ZFG. Naturally enough, women do not want to admit as much; not to pollsters, not to their frenemies. There is undoubtedly a Bradley Effect happening, where women are not telling pollsters the truth. So who will they vote for in the booth?
