Commenter Buena Vista recently asserted,
What I found remarkable (and a feminist blogger did not, because didn’t fit her worldview) was the 3-1 ratio of men opting out v. women. If retrospect, the women were just presaging AFBB/Open Hypergamy. (“Oh, definitely, I’ll get married after I have fun for a few years.”) Also remarkable: the study emerged from one of 10 liberal foundations that contribute 90% of liberal political cause donations. (The demon Kochs are nowhere to be found on that list, because their supposedly democracy-destroying foundation is too small.) And last, the feminist rejoinder that “who cares if a bunch of plumbers never marry, I’m joining the one percent when I get married, so that’s the only cohort that matters.”
But back in DC, the men who fit the economic model for the girls, by the time they’re forty, are not signing up in sufficient numbers to pull some girl’s wagon. They’ve already been flayed by the divorce industry. And the girls are melting down.
These are UMC (or desire to be UMC) women, looking for UMC men. Will they find them? Just by considering the demographics at Universities for the last 30 years, the answer would be no. This is, of course, based on the assumption that the gateway to the UMC is through the University degree.
But beyond that, do UMC men want these high-powered women for marriage? In my case, I am the edge of the UMC both in terms of income and prestige. Though I surely don’t live the typical UMC lifestyle (conspicuous consumption, socializing (a.k.a. posturing), etc.). Living in fly-over country, we have our own version of these high-powered women– University degree(s), fast track in management, lots of adulation and awards. In other words, lots of puffery and not so much reality (see the previous post on humility). In my bluest of blue pill days I was never attracted to such women.
The question is why? The short answer is that they were not value add; rather they were value subtract. And that was before financial considerations were made. I could see that they were extremely high maintenance, and would demand that I always be at my best so that they could show me off and get a hypergamic buzz. They would always be arguing for their own way, primarily because they always previously had gotten their own way. Furthermore, they did not have the wherewithal to see that they were living a lie (puffed up by affirmative action, natural attraction from men, etc.)
But then, that was me. And perhaps I do not generalize well to other men. Deti states,
Regarding Susan Walsh and HUS:
It bears repeating and recalling that SW has always been geared toward a very narrow, specialized demographic: politically liberal, upper middle class and upper class non-black women, aged 18-30, college educated or in college, planning on a career, and living in urban areas.
In other words, women who were her daughter 5 years ago; and women who were Susan Walsh 35 years ago.
That’s who her blog is geared towards. Consequently, the trends that affect those women are the only ones that matter to her and are the only ones she sees. And what she sees are those women, generally, doing very well and marrying by age 35, to men who look quite a bit like them demographically (except for their gender). And most of those marriages succeed (as long as we define “success” as “not getting divorced”), because the divorce rate in the US right now is lowest for men and women where both parties are college educated, upper middle class and up, and married after age 27 or so.
So to folks like SW, there are no real problems, because her clientele will statistically get married eventually. She views her job as getting her girls married off by age 40 with as few pump and dumps as possible. And she’ll likely do pretty well, mostly because this cohort of rich, liberal, white college girls from the coasts working in cubicle jobs in HR and PR do OK on their own finding men willing to marry them, as they always have from time immemorial.
Deti suggests that thees women do eventually get a man. Perhaps it is not the ideal man that was envisioned in their minds, but a man all the same. Effectively they are alpha-widows, and will never really have a good marriage; dragging their husband and kids down to their misery. They will not divorce, so there is that. Still, in many cases, one wonders if for all, divorce would be better.
To summarize, high-powered women will invariably be disappointed by the crop of men that they can select from. And their future husbands and their children will pay the price.
Also in my fly-over country domain are many “less-high-powered women”. They are just scaled-down version of the high-powered women; their issues might be scaled back also, but they still didn’t make it over my threshold.

Some folks still try to flog me on in that direction yet, but after the red pill opened my eyes, I opted out. No thanks. Many campus activists seem to want anyone accused of sexual assault on a college campus to be removed from society, yet they don’t want to give the students tools to defend their futures.
I briefly touched on this in an article on Tuesday, about proposed legislation that would make it nearly impossible for students found responsible for sexual misconduct to transfer to another school and continue their education. If misconduct hearings are a “learning experience,” as some college administrators have said, then halting a student’s learning seems like a bad way to go.
An obvious comparison would be to disciplinary hearings involving plagiarism, as students can be expelled for that as well, but there are distinct differences. For one, plagiarism is not a crime in broader society. For another, there’s no ambiguity about plagiarism — once the accusation is made, the evidence is either there or it isn’t. It never comes down to a he said/she said situation.
Not so with sexual assault. Schools should not be able claim they are merely adjudicating school policy when they are in fact adjudicating an actual criminal offense. And given that the campus process frequently punishes the accused despite reasonable doubt (many such cases are not prosecuted in criminal court for this reason), it is unreasonable to go beyond expulsion to imposing the death penalty on an accused student’s future educational prospects.

Sad thing for other ladies similar to Bloom is that the Fems have made it so many men believe/are starting to believe that 99.9% of WALT. It’s truly gotten to the point where even a good RP woman, who wants and will also actively deliver a traditional lifestyle that a decent amount of men crave is completely up a creek.

Honestly, it seems to be the same even for Purple Pillers…there’s a lot of men I know who take what they will from RP (though most don’t know it as such) but still look for a partner who is what they were taught women are like. I really fear for some of them…it’s too easy for such a guy to be taken advantage of. If only there were more females willing to be purple and actively look for purple males. *sigh*

This should probably be a post. I don’t know… I’m in 2 minds about it:
I could write from the perspective of a man who is what women want but who doesn’t need a woman.
I come under pressure from women. My singleness frustrates them. I reckon it’s because they can’t stand the thought of a man not needing women – especially if he is “marriageable”. I’ve overheard them say it, “someone has to break him.” When a man comes from the percentage that is “good enough” for women, they don’t like the thought of him being one of the ones who has opted out. They don’t like it at all.

How would you describe a purple male?
About the same as I would a Purple Pill female: They have their finger on the pulse of both male and female troubles, rights, privileges, etc.
Not Blue Pill, because they don’t believe crap like “the male gaze is oppressive”, “only men can be rapists”, or that “women only make 70 cents for every dollar a man does”. Purple Pillers understand that sexism can and does affect all of us to varying degrees, and yes, men do in fact get the short end of the stick many, many times.
But they’re also not Red Pill, because they aren’t Traditionalists and don’t see a definitive, set in stone need for a lot of gender roles because it doesn’t work in the context of their personal experiences or relationships (that’s not to say they think gender roles aren’t helpful to others). There’s a base understanding and acceptance of certain Red Pill truths; that most women want to be wined-and-dined by the “top” males (hypergamy), will chase bad boys in their younger years but then want a steady provider (AFBB), and will shit test their men to prove various strengths, and that most men will have to deal with these things.
A Purple Pill male or female knows these things occur, but do not deal with such things in their own relationships, because their SO doesn’t act like that. I’m definitely Purple, and my FwB has gone from being very Blue when I first met him to Purple currently, partially due to his job change and partially due to my talking about what I read online.
I usually sum it up this way:
BP = Not All Women Are Like That
RP = All Women Are Like That
PP = Enough Women Are Like That

Men at work they are,
The leaders of The World Economic Forum, an elite gathering of 2,500 of the world’s corporate, political, entrepreneurial and media leaders, convened in Switzerland last week and announced they have a problem.
There are too many men in the group.
To remedy it, male CEOs from 10 different companies have joined forces with feminists such as Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg in a mission to achieve gender parity by 2020.
“While half the companies come close to parity in their overall employment,” notes USA Today, “none of the 10 companies have parity in the boardroom.”
Companies do a good job at the entry level, says Pat Milligan, global leader of When Women Thrive. But when women get to higher levels, they leave.
Dennis Nally, chairman of PwC, is perplexed as to why this is so. “If you start with parity on day one, why aren’t we making progress? We think it’s about data. We think it’s about the leadership intervention.”
No, Mr. Nally, the lack of female CEOs is not about data or leadership intervention.
It’s about children and food.
Sandberg & Co. are hopelessly out of touch. Their myopic vision of gender equality ignores the reality of home and family life.
Someone has to rock the cradle. Someone has to love, care for and discipline the children. Someone has to go to Target, do the laundry, pick up the dry cleaning and take the children to the doctor. Someone has to get the kids where they need to go after school. Someone has to go the grocery store and get food on the table.

There’s no reason to pity women, even if they superficially claim RP authority and insights, in their frustrated search for a man to put a ring on it. Because, once again, they’re playing both sides of the street. They’re just saying, “No, really, come back, I’ll be nice this time.”
Until women are willing to run the same risks in government marriage that are today only applied to men, and enforce changes to the system that has proven its malignancy to men and their children, their argument remains one of “I’ll have my cake and eat it too.” One-way optionality, enforced by the state at gunpoint, is not a good deal for men.
So they’ll need to enjoy their spinsterhood, or a groveling, desperate Husband of Instagram.
I know exactly one woman who has figured this out. She figured it out because as the primary wage earner (surgeon), while desperate to escape the marriage, she was effectively treated like a man by the courts. She lost her home, her children, and the usual fortune in a toxic divorce to her SAHD. She flies in her boyfriend 1000 miles from the Texas oil patch (where he is a welder of some sort) once or twice a month and noted to me recently:
“Well guy I’m seeing wanted to move in and I told him I wasn’t ready. Didn’t know if I’ll ever be ready. He didn’t like my answer. I like my space. Long distance relationship is what I like.”
She was not like this when she was still transitioning out of the marriage; she wanted to lock me down. Now that her ex- has alienated her children and re-litigated their divorce a few times (he actually re-litigated three times in five years his child support and alimony– though one child has now reached her majority) she asks “Why do the courts even entertain this shit?” It’s not her fault her ex- doesn’t want to work. (And her husband, like most ex-wives to UMC men who’ve been drawn and quartered, is highly educated: he’s an M.D. who claims he can’t hold down a job, any job, because of his devotion all those years to being a homemaker. He’s currently appealing the most recent court decision to their state’s Supreme Court.)
She’ll enjoy her work, her second home in Palm Springs, build her airplane, and the like. She’s got the Hard Anger. She’s WGTOW. Once you’ve been through the meat-grinder a time or two, so that someone else can sustain a life of leisure and privilege while destroying your parental relationship with your children, the stage lights come up mighty bright. Doubly so if you are of a certain age and have keener insight into the time and effort required to rebuild your balance sheet and emotional well-being. At a certain age, insights aside, there’s just the practical matter of not having enough time left to run the risks. This basically summarizes Robin Williams’ suicide.
If a RP noob wanted to test this thesis, he might say to a woman: “Hey, I want to be in a committed LTR with you. Tell you what, I’ll buy a condo in your building (a house next door to yours) and you keep your stuff, I’ll keep mine, we’ll intersect only in the affirmation of our affections. Not at the county courthouse where I hand you the keys to my sovereignty.” A meltdown will ensue.
Women own this situation: they made it, benefit from it, covet it.

Re: Sandwich Making
I don’t make him many sandwiches, but that’s because we normally eat out when together…Our homes are for affectionate times and/or videogames, restaurants and cafés are for eating at. I always pay for the meal, he always pays the tip, because that’s fair to our different incomes. I also buy him little snacks from time to time, though recently he’s “on a diet” so I can’t. Pshaw! He is wonderful as he is.
If there is food to be had at home, we’ll have things like bruschetta (with the option of chicken for him), antipasta, or salad (option of chicken, bacon, or turkey for him) that can be made together. Since I’m vegetarian and he’s not, meals that can be customized to our individual diets are preferred.
Sandwiches aside, it’s possible, as you said, that we just have different ideas about what Purple entails. It’s certainly not as cut and dry as Blue or Red, that’s for sure.
I will be buying Fuzzie a steak lunch or dinner in August though. Does that count towards Sandwich Points? 😉 😛

Not gonna lie…the amount of gas money saved from this hypothetical would be astoundingly awesome.

I wonder how many women realize that women are doing that.
A lot more than the Blue would have men think.
I wonder how many women understand that men realize that that women are doing that; and as such, need to be extra skilled in trying to convince him…
Not nearly as many, because the MSM is still just pandering the “men are juvenile, immature, and afraid of commitment” line 24/7. Once again, women can do no wrong.

I have to admit that this purple pill thing is confusing also
Hmmm. I don’t know if I can explain it more or differently. I’m sorry.
Maybe it’s just what I’d consider those who reject the misandry of Blue Pill “fish – bicycle”/rape culture/all men are sexist shit we’re fed everyday while simultaneously not personally agreeing with all of the Red Pill ideology or needing it applied to them.
It was what I struggled with the most upon encountering the Manosphere. And still do, to some extent. What does one say when they honestly aren’t “like that”, but it’s just because of how they are, not because they recognize and actively reject their “primal urges”? Primal urges are the need to eat, sleep, have sex, and stay alive…not screwing over your mate.
It’s like learning about things like married game, and shit tests, and hypergamy, and frivorce, and sexual manipulation, and all the other RP relationship stuff we talk about here. It is utterly mind blowing that anyone, anywhere does this crap, because it just sounds. So. Fucking. Exhausting.
Like, who has either the time or inclination for that?! Who would not notice they are being a gigantic asshole to the person they say they love and cherish?! Are they really that incapable of taking a step back and viewing what they are doing?!
I can understand that fights and disagreements happen, but when BV talks about a grown-ass adult woman having a tantrum? Or that post that on J4G where the author was talking about how he got hurt and took care of his blood and tears alone even though his woman was just in the next room over because he couldn’t allow her to see him cry?
Bull. Shit.
Not that those things didn’t happen, since I’m sure they did, but what the hell? If you have a disagreement, you can (usually) just take a walk and cool down until you’re ready to see the other side, not stomp your feet and yell like a toddler. The one person you shouldn’t have to be afraid of seeing you at your most vulnerable is your mate. I know that when my love is hurt, be it physically or emotionally, I need to be there for them with comfort and love…and it is just heartbreaking in my mind that this could be seen as him “losing game” or some crap. Women are adults! Act like it!
…
Ok. Rant over.
Sorry I went off a bit there. My guy has been dealing with some overly PC stuff at his job, and it is pissing me off. Like Fuzzie, all this makes me very angry and frustrated.
But…yeah…I don’t know, FB. Wish I had a better definition for you.

a) why does nobody fucking tell me this shit?
b) didn’t someone post a link on how smart someone who swears is (enlarged vocabulary, or some such)?

Bloom, think it was a good post, but will refrain from commenting on it due to a plethora of moral/spiritual differences.
But if I was coming from a Christian standpoint, I’d think it was fantastic! 👍
I’m also slightly envious of the (probably small) amount of time you have to churn out posts as you’ve been doing lately. 😆

I have noticed that the inhabitants of the UK do swear rather noticeably more than many, many other
cuncountries. I freely admit this deplorable fact.We also hold our esteemed political leaders in far, far, far lower regard than most. For example, I have heard
deludedpeople say that one must respect the office of the POTUS, even if the present occupant is clearly dishonest, incompetent and an immensely deluded narcissist (relax, I’m purely making this up, I’m obviously not talking about the present glorious being). No English person ever said that about any of our recent jerk off prime ministers, or any other politician whatsoever. But…to be fair…you guys haven’t elected Hillary or Bernie…yet. When you do, perhaps a recalibration is due?LikeLiked by 2 people
Well sir! Recalibration? The Trumpnado is nearly upon us……Thing for you to remember……we are heavily armed. With all that implies. However, we’re a polite sort…….kinda like the Chinese…..they ask you behind which ear you want to be shot. Thing is this…..the rule of law is gettin’ kinda weak…..because really, who obeys the big laws anymore?
As for the casual invective, no problemo. Type as you will. I’ve been reading you over on Dalrock for a while now. Thinking about grown women having a tantrum……here in Texas, a lot of them are carrying weapons…..some legal, some not. Men pretty much leave women alone here, unless the situation is well known. Who wants to run into one of those cute little “Lady Berretas”, in pink or whatever color they come up with. Another consideration is this…..folks nowadays are sportin’ custom self defense ammo…..Essentially, there’s too much internal trauma to survive. I’ve lived this long here by minding my own business.
On a political note, it is hard for you to understand how much the Republicans are despised by their own voters. Effeminate manginas, the whole lot. Here’s the real surprise for you…..a lot of Democrats are going to vote for Trump…….because they’re not sexually confused.
Here’s how bad things are here. The Presidential Secret Service is criminally incompetent. I figure there will be one or two serious assassination attempts on Trump. He has really good security. I’m afraid of some sort of small drone with a refined chemical weapon. Trump will stay alive as long as he uses his own security forces.

Hi ETFB,
I read at Dalrock’s a lot more than I comment. I have recommended Dalrock’s to theists on the web more than a few times. I am honoured to have been noticed. I highly rate that site as a source of reason (even though I’m not a believer. I like people that talk principled sense)
I note your wisdom on armed women. And wisdom it is.
Regarding RINOs, well we have the Conservative party under Call Me Dave Cameron…very similar indeed. Though I give Paul Ryan extra credit for the budget that he got through…what an example to us all.
I voted UKIP (due to Farage) last time in much the same spirit as I would vote Trump if I were an American. I was far from reservation free, but fuckit even the worst case scenario was better than any of the alternatives. Your massive advantage is that a Trump president would have power. An elected Farage (an MP) would not. He would need to have many of his party also elected…many regard the rest of the party (not all of them) with a jaundiced eye. UKIP is in a bit of a mess right now regarding Westminster politics, but is thoroughly engaged with the BREXIT campaign.
I hope Trump makes it (me being a know nothing foreigner) and I hope he makes America great again. I’m frankly desperate for any western leader with a spine. We got nothing in prospect, what we have is keen to keep us handcuffed to a suicidal Europe standing on a ledge.

As Vox Day holds forth…..there will be huge massacres that will not be controllable if the moslem invasion isn’t turned. However, much of the blame for that lies with the feminists and greens, as I understand it. Here’s the hard rock……Islam isn’t going to leave. They will outlast you if you aren’t able to finish them off.

Also, I think that I’d get on well with Teaxan women. They’d like my accent, I like theirs. I tend to get on well with grounded women. It’s the delusional “ladies that lunch’ and champagne socialists / limousine liberals that I’d be grinning at as we spoke, whether they’d get the reason behind the grin? I don’t know. I’m really not sure if they’d get my sense of humour. Have you read the comments at Guido’s blog? (Order-order.com) viciously funny, to me anyway.
An example of that humour. Read it dead pan.
Paul Ryan looks like the kind of kid that got bullied a lot at school. At least I’d like to think he did.
I hope that worked for you. I grinned the whole time I was typing it.

It’s the banality of the words coupled with the sheer cuntitude of the sentiment that cracks me up.

Thing is, Spawny……we have a lot of “economic” refugees showing up here in Texas. You see, we don’t have a personal income tax here. So, fleeced liberals flock here as they can. They bring their leftist ideas with them. Yeah, you can tell a leftist rabbit by just how nervous they are around weapons. It offends their very existence. Those are the kind of people I introduce to the Texas justice system.
Spawny, when a leftist understands that he can be killed under the color of law, they get real quiet. Essentially, it’s this……don’t invade someone’s property. Simple. It doesn’t matter if you “feel” that they’re the scum of the earth……if you step on their property, that’s a whole nother matter. Legally, it then becomes a matter of IF the property holder felt threatened. There’s no requirement to retreat…..none. Are you starting to get the picture? No means no, and can be followed by a very well aimed hollow point.
As for feminists……I have to deal with some, that’s true. But consider the atmosphere……out in the country, folks are polite……right up until they’re not. I will not disrespect a feminist here. I just won’t defend one. What that means is this…..if someone walks up to a feminist, and is going to do her in……that’s not my problem. I didn’t see anything. There’s an excellent chance she has it coming. That’s a hard way to look at things, isn’t it?
As times get harder, well……who will step up and feed a rebellious woman? History shows that hard times are when the trash gets taken out. We had a “terrorist” attack in Garland a while back…..it’s hell when the locals are sportin’ better weapons than they are. They were shot next to their vehicle. Reckon it took a while for the ambulance……yep, they bled out where they fell.
This is the Texas mindset. You could say that we’re violent, and that’s true. However, we aren’t helpless. If you’re fortunate enough to come to Texas, why, it’s heaven on earth.

Sorry, no. You have to make it for it to count. That’s Patriarchy 101. However, don’t let that come between fuzzie and a steak.
