A Wasteland

As a follow-up to the last post, consider other activities that girls are engaging in in their tween and teen years.  Often it is about one (or both) of two things, social/boys/beauty/pecking order/hypergamy and/or getting good grades plus the right charity/club associations to get into University.  It apparently starts very young these days, and it does not let up.  Being totally surrounded by it, girls have little conception of how anything could be different.  And they end up all in.

And what does their development during these key years look like?  From one perspective, they learn to hone their skills at hypergamic combat.  This includes such skills as back stabbing, identifying competition, finding gullible students to do your dirty work, spread rumors, act sweet, innocent and pure, finding yourself sexually, etc.  And there is always the pressure to slut it up. This situation is just plain bad for everybody and bad for society.

What did girls concentrate on in times past?  For one thing they were developing intellectually and character-wise during those years.  They were developing useful skills.  They were trying to make themselves attractive marriage material.

Of course, the two time periods were not as black and white as described.  But there is much truth to these descriptions.  Deep down people realize this, but delude themselves that there is not a real problem.

Maybe it’s a little early in the thread but, in the old days, high school girls could expect to be married. Today, I think it has slipped to less than half of adults being married. Perhaps, some of these girls are seeing only a succession of boyfriends as their future. They’re better off than the bulk of the boys who don’t ever expect to find a girlfriend.
I am sorry for the bleak assessment but, there are drawbacks to hypergamy.

Yes. And the few who refuse to delve into learning such skills simply provide more fodder for those who do. However, it’s better to be ridiculed for having honor, integrity, empathy, and morals than to allow yours to lapse.

And there is always the pressure to slut it up.

Yup. From both male and female peers, though said pressure comes through in different ways.

    Tarn,
In all honesty, I don’t know, I’m guessing. However, if a survey was taken, academia would play all kinds of tricks with it to couch it in positive terms. From my standpoint, a bleak outlook on the part of young men would not benefit feminism. They thrive on men volunteering.

I don’t think that home schooling is the answer These are issues that affect the whole of society. What does seem to work is Bloom’s babysitter’s religious sect. While they are not Amish, I have heard that the Amish have only a one percent divorce rate.
I think a lot of it stems from contraception allowing women to pursue short term mating strategies. If they only had long term to consider, things would be very much different.

Aside from the rampant sexual profligacy, I’m about as sure as can be at any and every point in history women/girls have been back stabbing, identifying competition, finding gullible (individuals) to do their dirty work, spreading rumors, and so forth. I’ll bet some of the first scratches on parchment were code for, “don’t talk to that bitch”.

Not just Christianity, and certainly not always Christianity. The majority of the world’s religions have typically strived to create a solid moral/ethical foundation. Of course, the morals (and some laws) of a culture from 2,000 years ago is different than ours since we as a species grow and learn and have changing needs.

Besides, the US is still a majority Christian country. I don’t see our current situation as a “post-Christian” time so much as a post-ethics time. We don’t need more churches…we need more people to give a damn about others.

Exactly. It’s less of a Herd Mentality and more of a failure to instill empathy/morals/ethics to the majority of a generation. It affects women more, but can be seen in today’s men also.

It’s a combination of things. People are nicer when there are consequences for bad behavior and morals/ethics curb bad behavior (ultimately this is also incentive-based). People in general tend to be nicer to each other in smaller communities, and especially when they are reliant on each other for survival.

We’re moving away from community reliance with larger cities, frequent moves (when one works at the same business and lives in the same area for his/her entire life he/she has a different set of consequences for bad behavior…this is true even for societies comprised entirely of thieves, they never steal from each other and it’s rare for them to steal from the communities they set up camp in).

One on the consequences of marasmus/skin hunger, especially relating to single men or those in unaffectionate relationships. I’m unsure if I want to include what I’ve learned about incel/love shy though…that really deserves it’s own post.

One on female gamers, and how there’s a notable difference between invading/causing major alterations to such a predominantly male space and simply VS the simple desire to make it inclusive to like-minded women.

One about letting go of anger and turning it into motivation for a better, more satisfying life.

And one about the current trend of singlehood amongst people my age (late 20’s – early 30’s), and whether it is voluntary vs involuntary.

Something *I’d* like to see from Cill and his family is the corresponding information from his female relatives post. It takes 2 to tango, and now that we have been let in on the How To Be A Good Wife of such overwhelmingly successful marriages, it’d be awesome to have a writeup of How To Be A Good Husband.

I think that the Patriarchal Air Conditioning Whine-athon is just women engaging in what women have always done…trying to whip up a little drama in their life by whining. And whining about men is just their favourite genre of whining. I don’t think even the moronettes on the TV think that it’s serious.

But…I think what they’re missing is that increasing numbers of men have had enough. The backlash to this kind of thing is giving women a bad name. When married men realise that they can’t make ‘er-in-doors ‘appy…they stop bothering. I think that ever larger numbers of men are getting to that point and that’s where the rising tide of male voices in the media is coming from. Not manosphere types, just men at the point where they’re just saying what they think.

In the red-pill world men see the seed for the inane whining is a core facet of femininity. Women demand the right to where cute little summer outfits…so that they can attention whore and get ‘validation’ via their looks. In the past the local matriarch would have kept a lid on their attention whoring by insisting on standards…very few such matriarchs now.

Going back to that film ‘Carry on Nurse’, Hattie Jacques’ character was the boss of the ward, she kept the nurses from slacking. Nowadays, the NHS has problems with cleanliness on the wards leading to MRSA type infections…traced to a widely held attitude in the nursing staff that they didn’t need to follow old fuddy-duddy cleanliness routines because they were now P2K nurses with ‘degrees’ rather than the old style raised on the wards type. ‘Too posh to wash’ was the name given to this princess attitude. Many people have died from the MRSA type infections caught as a result. It seems that sufficient thousands have died that the NHS actually took action.

Hattie Jacques (on the left) in a rare ‘happy moment’ in the film Carry on Nurse. The one on the right is showing the correct Boss Hen type demeanor for her role in supervising the pleb hens.

The old style of hospital with nurses brought up to do the job properly however mucky, sisters in charge at the local level to keep the nurses from taking advantage of their looks, and men in charge above that setting decent standards and strategic direction. That’s what we need to get back to. And let the women that can meet male standards (because NAWALT) join in as they have done all through history. Rather than debasing the culture, lowering the standards etc so that bratty little sister can play with the boys too and say “look at me, I’m as good as my big brothers”.

    Just a rant thought.

We need to get to the point where men in general just listen to a woman start speaking and have the ability to just say ‘No’. ‘No, that’s a bad idea’. ‘No, I don’t want to’, or just ‘No’ and a wink. You know? Not sexism, just that a dumb idea is a dumb idea, doesn’t matter if a woman or a man has it. Don’t do dumb. Leadership is earned, not given on a quota basis to a dumb child figure with a bossy attitude and entitlements out of her va-jay-jay. Yes, I am picturing emma here. VIDEO: THIS ‘SEXIST AIR CONDITIONING’ INTERVIEW HAS KILLED FEMINISM FOREVER

There is nothing better than watching a trumped up, 14-year-old looking, RadFem make a total prat out of herself on live television.

Ms. Sanghani, who has come to personify the death of the Telegraph newspaper – for she is a journalist for their “Wonder Women section” – proceeded to shark jump, multiple times, as she argued that men controlled the sexist air-conditioning, forcing wimmin to be cold, and therefore unfashionable, and resort to wearing “emergency cardigans” in the office.

This is bigger than women’s suffrage, guys.

This is about summer dresses and sandals. No, I’m serious. She ACTUALLY SAID it was about her ability to wear summer dresses and sandals, and commented that if men were comfortable in their suits when she’s too cold, then they should strip down to t-shirts. In the office. Along with summer dresses and sandals. What the hell is going on at Telegraph HQ? Is it now an arm of the Liberal Democrat party?

The Telegraph used to be known colloquially as ‘The Torygraph’, right wing, Conservative etc. In the last year, or so, it’s thrashing about and drifting left and downwards to become a leftish rag. It’s really sad to see, but at least it’ll be dead soon. A lot of Breitbart-London (maybe of different tone to B’bart US) audience comes from Telegraph refugees.

“So what’s the answer?” Ms. Sanghani was asked. “We just need a bit more flexibility. It’s just essentially about common sense.”

Congratulations, you have offered absolutely no solutions to the problem that you are yourself concocting, you complete and utter twat-waffling douche-canoe.

“Twat-waffling douche-canoe”? That’s new to me! I would have called her a twit and left it there.
When it comes to circulating this item, the more, the merrier.

Truly excellent stuff, me old mate.

I’d heard of “the Patriarchal Air Conditioning Whine-athon” but had treated it as beneath my contempt and not worth the time of day. As a result of your comments I looked into it for the first time a minute ago. All I can say is:

How utterly, strangely, disorientingly, incomprehensibly bizarre…
SURELY it goes too far, even by the loopy lefty standards of the average numbnut in the MSM?

    Poe’s Law:
“Without a clear indication of the author’s intent, it is difficult or impossible to tell the difference between an expression of sincere extremism and a parody of extremism.”
It’s difficult, if not impossible, to distinguish between parodies of fundamentalism or other extreme views and their genuine proponents…
No I will not cite Poe’s Law. It is apparent from the video that there is no difference to distinguish. God help us all, but this daft bint is actually one of their genuine proponents

One of the main questions I often get asked by readers — especially new readers — is why colleges are handling crimes in the first place. Colleges and universities wouldn’t be tasked with investigating a murder, so why are they playing prosecutor, judge, jury, executioner and appellate when it comes to sexual assault?

    Good question this is.

It takes 2 to tango, and now that we have been let in on the How To Be A Good Wife of such overwhelmingly successful marriages, it’d be awesome to have a writeup of How To Be A Good Husband.” […]

Colleges are handling “crimes” not crime.

A majority Christain nation would not have queer marriage, a porn industry, abortion, usury and a metric shit ton of other stuff. Only minority of americans are #1 american ( related to those who found the national / split from England) and 2) hold a Bibical world view. The whole notion this is a majority Christain nation is utter bullshit when you look at it(same with the notion it’s a nation, the land of the free, home of the brave etc etc)

To feminism out of the msm you will have to
Shit can all th ladies working in the media
Shit can all the dudes in the media
Higher a bunch of blue-collar dudes with bad attitudes and big alimony bills to replace them

It is curious how the Huffington Post only objects to “due process” when the nature of the crime in question is male perpetrator and female victim.
