Previously in the post Unholy Alliance, we saw what many traditional conservatives have morphed into. It is not necessary a pretty sight. However, there is another modern traditional conservative, one that some might call red-pill, and others might call bible-based. Perhaps the leading web site exemplifying this thinking is Dalrock.
The Bible is full of stories of women behaving poorly, of their weaknesses, of their ability to sin just like men. And as such this version of trad-con does not hold women in the same high esteem that the other trad-cons do. Furthermore, these trad-cons are eager to take the red pill in order to understand the situation, and then hopefully do something constructive about today’s sorry state of affairs. And the key word here is constructive, as this is what Christians are called to do.
The Bible also gives prescriptions on attitudes and behaviors. These trad-cons emphasize the ones that have a red-pill basis. The thought is to guide people back to a style of living that results in productive contentment. Naturally, they realize that they are swimming against the tide; but they do what they feel they must do.
P.S. In the comments, FuzzieWuzzieBear brought up the issue of the rainbow flag. It just so happens that Dalrock addresses this.
